These 8 shoes that I have tested so far in 2024 have been great and there isn't one that I dislike... I have just found some to be more enjoyable than others. But there is one standout for me.

Last weekend, I did a 5k on Saturday and a 10k on Sunday. I wore the Mach 6 for the 5k, and took 1:39 off my PB chip time. I wore the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 for the 10k, and took an even 2:00 off my PB chip time there. I love both shoes.

100% agree on the Hoka 6 👍 I've had the Hoka 5 and put in over 300 miles without any problems. The latest iteration is better due to the foam change and additional grip 💯
Great video Andy. I’ve so far put over 250miles in my Speed 3’s and 275miles in my T21’s and love them both. May look at Ride 17 as a replacement to the T21’s later this year.
Love my Mach 5, the best trainer I have, together with Superblast. Both are lightweight, forgiving, responsive and capable to get along with all trainings. I am looking forward to Mach 6 and Superblast 2. Great video Andy!!!
I still enjoy my Hoka Mach 5, which has a lovely fit, nicer than the Mach 6, but the Mach 6 is my go-to trainer now, especially for longer and easy runs. I had standard fit in the Mach 5, but wide fit in Mach 6.
Like you definitely enjoying the Mach 6. Did an 800m interval session in them this week and was surprised by the times relative to my normal session shoe which is the Rocket x. They also turnover nicely on an easy run. Hope they last me for many miles.
Funny but it shows we are all different as I have just put out a similar video and the Puma Velocity Nitro 3 is the single shoe I have used the most this year and the Mach 6 one of those wore a few times but never been that inclined to do so again and same with the Alphafly 3. One we do at least agree on is the Speed 4 which have just got past 100 miles. I wonder what you would make of the Rebel v4 - very light but very wide.
what would you suggest for good cushioning and daily training? I bought saucony pro 3 but I'm still having shin splints during the run.

Great video, you persuaded me to get the Mach 6 a couple of days ago. Coming from the cloudmonster I have to say as much as I enjoy the Mach 6 so far, I fell immediately for the CloudMonster it was such a great first run and lasted me 800km. Hopefully once the Mach 6 has some miles on it I will feel as enthusiastic as you are.
Does it feel good now? Which should I buy for daily workouts and runs?
Got close to 250km on my Puma Velocity 3 and I'm enjoying them still. Use them for most of the easy plods and also moderate + long runs runs. Even marathon pace feels good. Just wouldn't use them on intervals HM pace or above. No real signs of wear and tear so expect to get at least 600km in them just like the predecessor
I really love mach6 and Trumb20 for daily running shoes. I've had Nova 4, revel v4 but I abondoned those..not for me.
Puma deviate nitro 2 and Adidas Boston 12. Great for everything and I have to agree, had the Mach 4 and loved them. Mach 5's are on sale so could be my next daily.

I used to think like that but now they have grown on me so much I love they look but the Adidas are first.
Is there any chance of you getting the NB Rebel v4 as well (I heard you mention it in the Mach 6 part). It's getting some great feedback and it would be good to hear yours as well!
Good morning. ¡¡¡¡¡Saucony Endorphine Speed 4.....all day!!!!!!. But I prefer the Puma Velocity Nitro 3 for long distance. Like to Andy. A nice weekend for everyone.
Which would be your top picks for long runs? I struggle with bottom of the forefoot pain when I get up to 12 miles and beyond.
Brooks Hyperion Max or the Mach 6? You convinced me to get the Brooks last year, and it is really a great do it all daily trainer.
I just can’t get anything out off my Speed 4s, I want to like them so much, I just find them too soft for me, which isn’t such a bad thing as the last pair of shoes ((invincible 2s) that I found too soft have just about given up being my walking shoes!

I dont remember whether you have tried the Rebel V4 but if you have what are the things you like better in Mach 6.

Mach 6 is awesome, 500 miles + on Mach 5 still going strong, definitely need the wide fit, reminds me of the Clifton 1, fastest shoe I’ve ever run in👍
I got the Mach 5 and loved them! Amazing shoe but I didn’t think they were robust enough and burnt through them in 400 miles!
I'm still waiting for a Glideride 3 replacement. Tried a lot and so far only Mach X comes close to the running economy i was getting out of the Glideride 3. Mach 6 a bit slower, as was the On Cloudmonster, Hyperion Max, Novablast, Boston, Pegasus. Didn't try New Balance or Saucony as they don't allow trials.
I've been running since1964 using the onitsuko tiger....then Reebok silver shadow ..early nike waffle then the early pegs in late 80s.....minimalls came and went and now stack heights get higher and higher with mid sole rockers and carbon plates..........costs go up and up and now £300 is possible....from the cinder track of the white city to the present all weather surfaces........yes technology has it's part to play but in the it's the runner and his imput that gets results???????????

For easy long runs (>30km @ 5:45 minutes/km) what do you suggest?

What happen to the Kinvara 14? I thought you loved that shoe in the beginning? Or do you put them in other category?
also wondering what happen to the saucony Ride 14. Surprised that you chose the Guide over the Ride.
Kinvara is a speed shoe.
@@jollyroger1009 yeah, guess so. I think I'm in the minority that is currently using the kinvara 13 as a versatile daily trainer. It's good for easy runs too. The only think it is lacking is probably for long run trainings. The longest I would take it for an easy run is around 16km (10 mile). I'd still probably take it for a fast half marathon though...

Do NOT sleep on the Diadora V7000-2. That's my shoe of the year.
A shoe that does not last at least 1000 km should not be promoted in this throw away era....
