I love how when seventeen translates their songs into another language, they don't just force the lyrics. they change the meaning and it becomes a sibling to the original song. similar. not exactly the same, the message changes yet just as meaningful and beautiful. Minghao, this is an amazing work of art. I can feel woozi's touch too. If both of you collab to create and sing a duet one day, you'll have carats laying down in tears 😭 this is already so close to that and it's so unique for a duet/collab. it's so seventeen to be so original~

I'm just so proud of Xu Minghao. From the boy who struggling in a new country and he just couldn't get used to his environment no matter how hard he tried. He had to get through it everyday. In the beginning, he couldn't even read hangul and practice it for singing. He had to write the song into chinese in order to pronounce it. Even if he only a little part of the song, it would take incredible effort. And now here he is. He gets bigger song parts bc they suit his voice, he gets his own songs, and he even gets his own korean versions of his songs, aka this video right here. I can't help but be so proud of how far he's come. I know he's proud of himself and I want to make sure he stays forever proud. All of the struggles he faced, they were all worth it in the end. They led us here and they brought the Xu Minghao we know today. You and I will probably never get to know everything that went on in his life and all the struggles he faced, but he talks about it and talks about how proud he is that he is now the ideal person he used to wish he was.
