According to me, I guess there is a reference or inspiration from the film "Le ballon rouge" (1956). It was in his recent Instagram feed. The film depicts a dark and grey city which gives a depressing mode setting with a bright red ballon symbolizing hope and happiness. The red ballon is indeed a simple and beautiful symbol used as we can see in the MV that it leads him to that person in whom he found his hope and happiness and the desperate need to protect her.
I never get tired of listening to this song. It is melancholic that makes you long for something or someone you haven't even met. But at the same time, it has some kind of warmth that makes you feel like you're home. :')

Came to check this out after seeing Minghao's new song and was not expecting this at all. It's so heartbreakingly beautiful. Honestly feels like this could be an OST for a movie/drama. Really impressed at his range and versatility of what he's released so far.

This is a masterpiece,its like minghao takes you to his world and an insight to his mind. All emotions are so subtly and minimalistically conveyed that it leaves you in wonder. Also everything is so graceful,the dance,song,vibe in general

According to me, I guess there is a reference or inspiration from the film "Le ballon rouge" (1956). It was in his recent Instagram feed. The film depicts a dark and grey city which gives a depressing mode setting with a bright red ballon symbolizing hope and happiness. The red ballon is indeed a simple and beautiful symbol used as we can see in the MV that it leads him to that person in whom he found his hope and happiness and the desperate need to protect her.
