I know this is an older video but I got the minis of all 4 serums. I'm currently trying tbe glow serum. I mix it with PC Water Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer and WOW!! My skin is soooo smooth. BOJ has become one of favorite brands.
I love the calming serum. I use it most days. It works really well with my super oily acne prone, sensitive skin. It stops me having a red nose. The other two I don't use quite as often. I find them quite sticky. So I only ever use them at night.

You can certainly use it either morning or evening, if your skin tends to be on the dry side it will probably be just fine in the morning. If your skin is on the oilier side might be better at night.
Hi Sarah I've used the calmng serum and their calming sheet mask - my skin enjoyed both (severely dry. rosacea and eczema prone). I haven't tried the other two, but probably will in the future. They are an affordable brand with decent ingredients so that's a win win. Best wishes.

May be the renewed version will match your requirement - 2% to 5% Panthenol in the renewed version and also Mugwort % has been increased and reducing green tea %
My Dry, Sensitive, Acne prone skin loves all 3. I finished the Calming and am almost done the other 2, but I will likely repurchase at some point. I have a few other unopened serums to finish first. I also just got the Ginseng Water and I am excited to try it.
I love all of these serums! So upscale, and so cheap! Will always recommend this brand. I alternate with the joseon propolis glow serum and the skinfood propolis essence and they are amazing. The calming serum is my favorite and I love using the snail serum around my eyes at night as an eye serum and it lasts me forever. Great review! :)
Funny how you mention those two serums as I am now torn between *Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum* vs. *Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Essence* since I love propolis so I always want to try new propolis serums on the market out there. Anyway I have oily skin. I rarely get breakouts but during this pandemic, I often get a few zits here and there due to the prolonged use of face masks (maskne). Which one do you think would be more suitable for oily skin type? Which one has thicker consistency? Which one is absorbed faster? Which one in your opinion feels more tacky or greasy on skin?

I’ve tried two of the ampoules from beauty of Joesan. The ginseng serum was my fav. (But I prefer the I’m From ginseng ampoule, but it’s pricier.) The propolis one was alright. It’s about the same as the iunik which is cheaper per oz. (BOJ is about $13 for I think 30ml. Iuink is $17 for 50ml. Neither is my fav propolis. That goes to the expensive but amazing Dr Ceuracle propolis ampoule.) What I really love is the BOJ ginseng essence. I’m using it now and it’s really nice if you want moisture. It’s a lot like an FTE in how it starts reviving your skin post wash. Also makes the serums, ampoules and creams on top feel more moisturizing. They also have a decent cream if you don’t mind fragrance. I don’t do well with fragrance so I’ve never repurchased, but it’s quite moisturizing.
Odile Monod mentioned in a video how Korean skincare..maybe Asian..don't quote me, preyed on the fact that westerners don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to Ginseng. Essentially these brands that are becoming big here with their ginseng products actually use dollar store quality ginseng since they know we are not knowledgeable in the ingredients. Curious if you would look into this and your thoughts.
Love her, she is amazing! That is probably true, although difficult to tell. There are also different ways to source the ginseng, such a distillation, steaming, fermenting, which can probably greatly affect how much of the active flavinoids/ vitamins/ ingredient you get in the product. When they use it as a water instead of Extract I have a feeling the effects probably aren't as good as it is watered down. Other than that it is probably hard to tell exactly the sources each brand uses. Fermentation of ginseng for skin use appears to be the best way to use it, when and if possible. With Skincare nothing surprises me, other than the fact that brands want to make money and customers should always beware.
I've only tried that calming serum. I wanted to love it, but just didn't. It dried down so fast I ended up having to use a LOT of it to spread it over my face and neck. I am interested in trying the others, though!❤️ I thoroughly enjoyed your drugstore tangent!😆
These look interesting! I'm new to Snail mucin, the cosrx all in one cream is on its way, hopefully my skin is gonna love it. It's fun to find new brands and new products. I recently bought an AHA/BHA gel cleanser from MIAMO, an Italian brand which seems to have many interesting products, a bit expensive tho.
Snail Mucin has been such a game changer- I was very leery of using it at first but I'm not officially converted into a snail mucin lover! You'll have to keep me posted on how you like it. I've found it works best in my evening routine, but in the dry winter it does come in handy when my skin is super dry. I'm going to have to check out the MAIMO brand- love trying new ones I haven't heard of before!
You should be able to use any of these with vitamin c. I'd probably recommend using the vitamin c first, wait a minute then apply the next Serum after that.
I strongly feel like the price of Olay doesn't match their quality. I just don't get it. I also love when I do a kbeauty order, seeing like 10 items for about 100 instead of like 3. You're right on with that estimate. Getting a kbeauty order always feels like Christmas.
Two of them contain Niacinamide, which you probably don't want too much of in your routine. I think I'd be more likely to recommend layering them, or using them in alternating routines. I found I really like the Repair Serum in my evening routine because it is so hydrating. I really enjoy using the Glow Serum during the daytime, right before my moisturizer and sunscreen. The Calming Serum I like after I use my laser because it really helps with redness and calming skin down.
I bought the calming serum to use as an antioxidant instead of vit c (didnt have a good experience with that) i still havent received it but im excited to use it!
Their new Glow Deep + Arbutin Serum has ended up being my favorite- going to have to review it asap- it has a wonderful texture that feels hydrating, but not greasy- does help with brightening and layers so nicely- really loving it!
Can you pleas review (again) the Dear Klairs soothing cream? They just renewed it and I read the ingredients' list and there has been some changes. Some of them are about moving important ones down the list. I really wanna hear your thoughts.

I love the price point of the BOJ stuff but I’ve only got one holy grail from them. (Although I haven’t tried the repair ampoule.) I’ve tried the ginseng and the propolis ampoules and their dynasty cream which while it felt great had fragrance, so it’s a no for me. The ginseng essence is my winner though. I love that. I feel like the propolis serum (glow) feels the same as iunik but while iunik is about $4 more, has almost twice as much product. Neither is my fav propolis, that’s Dr Cueracle, it’s just really pricy. I also prefer the I’m from ginseng ampoule but it’s like twice as expensive. I may get the repair serum to try and see if my kid likes it. Spring and summer mean eczema and breakouts for her, so finding products that work for her skin is tough. Though propolis and snail filtrate serums, essences and creams seem to help with the dry, flakey eczema and doesn’t break her out.
I absolutely am loving the ginseng Essence, it fits so nicely into both my morning and evening routines. So nicely hydrating but still leaves skin feeling soft and never greasy. So wonderful. The DC Propolis is really nice too.

I bought it and the Hado Labo Tokyo skin plumping gel cream at the same time and I’ve been so in love with the hado labo I haven’t given the cosrx cream a real test yet. I do love the texture though, so ima put down the hado labo for a bit and give the cosrx cream a real try. I really appreciate your channel bc I’ve found some real winners through you. ✌🏼

I’m using Glow Serum. Nice on skin. Kinda hydrating but will not repurchase. Haven’t seen any benefits and the bottle even if it’s the usual 30ml feels so damn mini.
With each product I said “oh that sounds nice I’ll get that” then you talk about the next product and I’ll say “oh I’ll try that” 😂 they all sound amazing and have great ingredients so this didn’t help. It’s not your fault, it’s the company’s fault for being so darn good!!! P.s. the hand cart thing doesn’t help when I’m shopping cause I will fill it till it’s 50 lbs and walk out with a bruised arm if someone doesn’t take pity on me and offers me a real cart 😩😩😩😂😂😂

I would go with the Repair Serum- it is wonderful for drier skin types and also contains Ginseng which is good for antiaging and repairing properties.

The Glow and Calming serum broke me out with the Tocopherol in it.
The Repair Serum is a winner- so nice and hydrating! I could see how the vitamin e can cause breakouts for some people.

Isn't it crazy that Olay is considered a "drugstore" brand and it is more expensive than half the products at Sephora.

I think I'll pass as they all have cocoa (cacao) seed extract which is very comedogenic......
All 3 of these serums irritated my skin and made me break out😭 I cannot pin point what ingredient it may have been
I wonder if it is the cocoa extract, it is in all three I believe and for some people it can be very comdegenic.
I love the price point of the BOJ stuff but I’ve only got one holy grail from them. (Although I haven’t tried the repair ampoule.) I’ve tried the ginseng and the propolis ampoules and their dynasty cream which while it felt great had fragrance, so it’s a no for me. The ginseng essence is my winner though. I love that. I feel like the propolis serum (glow) feels the same as iunik but while iunik is about $4 more, has almost twice as much product. Neither is my fav propolis, that’s Dr Cueracle, it’s just really pricy. I also prefer the I’m from ginseng ampoule but it’s like twice as expensive. I may get the repair serum to try and see if my kid likes it. Spring and summer mean eczema and breakouts for her, so finding products that work for her skin is tough. Though propolis and snail filtrate serums, essences and creams seem to help with the dry, flakey eczema and doesn’t break her out.
I absolutely am loving the ginseng Essence, it fits so nicely into both my morning and evening routines. So nicely hydrating but still leaves skin feeling soft and never greasy. So wonderful. The DC Propolis is really nice too.
@@NOBSBeauty I bought the cosrx snail filtrate cream you rec’d and my kid adores it. She swears by it now. I bought it and the Hado Labo Tokyo skin plumping gel cream at the same time and I’ve been so in love with the hado labo I haven’t given the cosrx cream a real test yet. I do love the texture though, so ima put down the hado labo for a bit and give the cosrx cream a real try. I really appreciate your channel bc I’ve found some real winners through you. ✌🏼

I’m using Glow Serum. Nice on skin. Kinda hydrating but will not repurchase. Haven’t seen any benefits and the bottle even if it’s the usual 30ml feels so damn mini.
With each product I said “oh that sounds nice I’ll get that” then you talk about the next product and I’ll say “oh I’ll try that” 😂 they all sound amazing and have great ingredients so this didn’t help. It’s not your fault, it’s the company’s fault for being so darn good!!!
P.s. the hand cart thing doesn’t help when I’m shopping cause I will fill it till it’s 50 lbs and walk out with a bruised arm if someone doesn’t take pity on me and offers me a real cart 😩😩😩😂😂😂
😂😂 Lol- I've been there more times than I can count- shopping is so much fun, I wish I was more like cameraman- he hates shopping and tries to get out of every store he's in as fast as possible. No matter what store I'm in I'll find something to buy, and if not for myself for the pups- they always love new toys!

These serums are SO underwhelming. They do nothing for me.
I wish any of their serums or their moisturizer were vegan - Korean skincare is so annoying to navigate for vegans 😣
