    I just stocked up on BOJ products from Marshalls! Was thrilled to see so many different products on the shelf and I went a bit overboard, but I don't regret it :) I've been using the Ginseng Essence Water and Glow Serum for a while and they've been a fantastic addition to my routine. Today I got 3 more serums, the retinol eye cream and Vit C cream. So happy!
    Thanks for sharing this video :)

    Yay!!! Beauty of Joseon has been my favorite “discovery” this year! I ordered after you first mentioned them months ago and I have been in love since!!! I use all the products you mentioned here except the gel moisturizer. But I ordered that one for my husband who is also using the products now! I use all 4 serums! The Calm one has been a dream!!! I’m so grateful you introduced me to this brand! ❤❤ I really enjoyed this video! 🤗

    And then next year (and every following year) compare it to the reigning champion.

    I.ve got the sun relief SPF. I ,m 56 years old and I.ve got dry areas on my face, but it feels great also on oily areas. I adore the feeling of hydration that this sun protector provides, but also very light without any sensation of grease.

    This Brand is amazing, I first noticed them in TJMaxx here in Florida, & thought it looked interesting ,so bought a few serums that were on the “clearance shelf” , however today, I popped into “Max” here in Jupiter, Florida & found more items … yaaay for me !! couldn’t believe my luck !!… Korean skincare is huge in the US & that is what I mainly use…

    A-hah! I saw you use SPF on your ears! Bravo. Second facial skin cancer event. The ear procedure was June ‘23 and was a 7 hr day (because the skin sample takes 2 hrs to reveal if there is more to cut or not). I was finally clean after 3 layers. Still can’t put that ear pillow side down & it’s December. Think there may be nerve damage as the scalp around ear hurts a bit. Anyway! Ladies use a good sunscreen! I thought my spf hat and long hair was good enough for ears. Nope. Merry Christmas all🎄

    I love Beauty of Joseon. My fav is the SPF Relief Sun SPF50+, its goes on beautifully under my make-up and no white cast in sight - my make looks great all day!! My latest love apart from all the other products LOL is the Eye Revive serum which I only use at night as I suffer with hyperpigmentation very easily due to having melanated (mature) skin 😘

    I layer mine as I at 66 have a few concerns now but I can handle surprisingly harsh acids etc now, I use hyaluronic acid every time morning and night as I like how it helps drag my other products into my skin. I do leave it a minute or so before carrying on with others especially if I'm adding niacinamide into my nighttime routine, other than that I have always used the watery first approach and it works for me, I always put eyecream on first, but until today I didn't know why, it has always said eyecream first, I just thought that was so we don't forget it until say we have vit c on our hands, which seems to be the only thing to irritate my eye's, I can wear vit c on my face no problem just my eyes dont like it. I want to get some Beauty of josean products but also want to get my stash down first, especially as I got 5 advent calendars this year a new high for me but oh boy I have lots of products now. My 4 sons all bought me one to open through to Xmas day and 1 between them to open on Xmss day as not all are 25 day calendars and some have quite a few more than 25 products in them too.but I digress. I enjoyed watching this and still learned something so thankyou Gemma, have a great Christmas and hopefully peaceful new year. Xx 😚 🤗 🥰

      It's kind of a salesman dream to persuade you that you need all these products when most of the time you don't. I adjust my products depending on my skin that day but my basics are day cleanse , eye cream, vit c and sunscreen and nighttime cleanse ( tone if needed) eye cream, retinol, moisturizer.

    hey Gemma (I hope I spelled it right), I was obsessing forever about not layering peptides with l-ascorbic acid due to Ordinary's conflict list that literally gives me headache, I think people who say that say that vit C destroys bonds of peptides and makes them ineffective. Ordinary says not to use them together.. I am talking about the regular peptides, not copper now. Could you refer to any literateure that says that it does not do that? I could not find myself and I am afraid to layer them but it is so hard to make a routine where I am able to use everythigng I want ..whaat would you say about that argument of peptides being affected by C and their bonds ruined...?

    • @kimdickinson3063

    hi gemma is there a difference between sweeping serum like a moisturiser vs pressing it in like you did in the video ? i have tried patting & pressing only but feel that it doesn’t distribute equally so i only do this after i’ve thoroughly applied the serum all over my face.

    • @PamperedWolf
      @PamperedWolf  10 місяців тому +4

      I like to do a mixture of both. So I tend to sweep first then pat. It depends on the viscosity of the product and, like you said, how evenly I think I can get distribution by patting alone. X

      I think you might have misunderstood the concept of this video. It isn’t a routine Betty. It’s a demo of how to layer skincare. Obviously no one will apply all these products, but I wanted to show an example of products and the order that you would apply them. For example if you have 3 of these products or products that are similar, you’ll know exactly where to apply them in your routine. Hope that makes sense. X
