I'm honestly stoked for Wesker's terror radius not because it tells me when I should hide, but because I get to jam out to an absolute banger the whole match.

Ah yes the "because my terror radius is so big and all over the map, i went back into a stealthy killer" aproach.
If everyone is always in danger at all times, they never know when they're in danger.
He can actually achieve a temporary maximum terror radius of 75 meters.
To do so, you need Distressing, Agitation, and Monitor and Abuse.
Pick up a survivor, then chase another and now your terror radius, presuming all perks are level 3, becomes 75 meters. The largest terror radius currently possible in the game. Previously it was Legion with Frank's mixtape being it filled the entire map at an unknown radius.
I believe distresing is calculated on the base terror radius, not the total. This would give Wesker a 70m TR instead. Doc with double calm add-ons has a 74m one with the same calculation. Either way, doc has a bigger TR with the other calculation as well.
8:07 I believe you can hit during the unhook anim, it just doesn't grab and goes straight to a slap animation. Hopefully it's fixed so it does that on vaults too
Yea I’ve had several occasions where grab should have hit them near a pallet, but it just bumps off pallet instead of hitting survivor.
As of today, his hit detection on survivors has been restored to 30 from the PTB, while the object detection is still 20. Now he slaps when someone is on the other side of a pallet or window he jumped over, as well as other interactions.
Wesker was definitely the best thing to happen in dbd for a long time he actually seems really fun to play as and against
I feel like Wesker is a bit of a prototype to what they are going to do with Nurse. No addons that increase his already oppressive chase power, but addons that increase the utility of his power outside of chase. Only 1 recharge addon and the distance addons dont really gain you additional distance.
I am looking forward for the next Nurse rework. Expecting a 40 meter TR(her basekit blinks can reach up to 40 meters in a straight line, I think thats a fair TR), only 1 recharge addon, status ailment addons and her post-blink attacks being considered special attacks rather than basic attacks.
I actually did the spam vault technique as one of my shorts. While you can grab in that like that 0.1 second gap between vaults, chance of doing that against a survivor with a brain is practically zero.
It's getting patched.

Damn literally had this build idea since I saw his terror radius was 40m. I'm pretty excited to try it out myself since I use this build often on Doc.
God doctor would be insanely brutal if he had base 40m terror radius.
Never thought I would live to see the day coulrophobia had potential to be meta, until you played with it.
I cant wait either this killer does not only seem pretty good and fun to play/verse, he also has a power that can be mastered which is a big plus for me! I will definetly put in the time to perfect him.

I was playing that exact build on trapper for fun, but now there is a killer with a bigger radius than normal this might be even more fun
Wesker is the killer interpretation of the inconvenience and pain of stubbing your toe.
6:00 I could swear that it looks like you're readjusting your momentum at some point between the initial dash and slamming Jill against the rock. I wonder if I'm just imagining it or if there's some way that you can flick turn to dash into a survivor and then turn to throw them towards an edge of map wall, because that would be really powerful if it's real.
You can actually look somewhere else after starting the dash and then bash the surv or throw him in a different direction

i like running agitation too bc they'll try to heal while you're hooking and you get 12+ meters making use of clown and doctors perk
I love using this build, you should try swapping sloppy for huntress lullaby and use portable safe so you can still apply hemorrhage it's a great compromise with little trafeoff
You CAN hit during animations, it usually transitions into a slap, but with all the bugs it's very hard to get. I got a few hits at windows and pallets, but was incredibly inconsistent.

I've been using distressing with him as well! I've used fearmonger, surveillance amd jolt with it and makes for some unexpected great results and had some hilarious me and surviors scaring the shit out of each other hahaha
when everyone was complaining about his 40 meters this build was the only thing that popped in my mind

I run a really similar build but replace Sloppy Butcher with Septic Touch which makes survivors healing in your terror radius Exhausted and Blind both during and for 10 seconds after healing. It fits the “huge radius” theme a bit better and also, in Wesker’s case, Sloppy Butcher doesn’t trigger on his Bounds which are obviously the attack you should be trying to use when possible over his basic attack.

I know this would require a perk slot but imagine this with hex lullaby? Could be good? Worth experimenting with, I think your build is top notch tho for sure excited to try this on full release
Been seeing a ton of people running this recently, it's surprisingly fun to go against. Bite The Bullet is the only thing allowing me to heal anymore, lol.

if they gave the doctor a base 40 meter terror radius, then his addons that give him +10 meter terror radius would be busted, just imagine a 50 meter terror radius PLUS distressing. there'd be no escaping the blast.

you can also replace Sloppy with Overwhelming Presence to make them waste double the charges of their items
Hey, hens, u said that the 40m TR covers almost half of the map, but you brough distressing and didnt follow up on that. So i wanted to ask if it covers even more with distressing or is it actually half of the map with distressing included?
Will clown phobia be nerfed then? I’d imagine inner healing will be popular against this build
If the speed in between using his power got buffed would it make it better to use your power once and move a bit then use it a second time when wanting to make more distance rather than spamming it twice quickly?

I honestly think it should be bass kit if you slam a survivor against a thrown down pallet or a breakable wall it should automatically break
I think the issue with this build is stakeout hyperfocus. On gens I actually prefer the smaller skill checks as half of it is great skill checks. So I get my tokens quicker and you are also giving me stake out value from across the map. Since it is really popular right now it isn’t doing much. The healing perk is a bit more useful as the duration and speed is actually annoying. But I’d remove the gen skill check perk.
But you know I’m going to run it in wesker any way a couple times just for the memes lol.

I actually find it hilarious, and might put the fear of god into the survivors. This dude is meant to be a menace/god like even if his power is bugged the streams i see of survivors shitting themselves with the terror radius makes it so fun. I kinda like that about Dredge too with how he has the sneaking potential, I HOPE they release more mind fuckery kinda killers like this, freshen up the game a little more.
There is 1 animation I know of that wesker can hit with his power, unhooking, he just slaps them
Sometimes i enjoy a big terror radius to cause a slight bit of unease. And plus if you constantly hear a heartbeat then it slowly fades as just into the same catagory as background noise, fo me at least.

Yeah the problem is that you have to play Doctor with 2 addons that dont help you at all in chase and not use his static blast. That is so much weaker than just having the terror radius base kit.
Starstruck could be good on him too or infectous to cover most of the map and know where everyone is almost all the time

I think its a good analogy. Wesker can move twice and jump over obstacles (windows), blight can move in far more directions and farther than wesker but cannot hop obstacles
Wouldn’t nurse be the queen and blight be a bishop and wesker is more like a rook

Is unnerving really worth it? It feels like good players ignore the skill check part
With the change to clowns perk making skill checks go 50% faster having those smaller skill check zones messing up people a lot more often. It’s way more powerful on doctor though due to the skill check window popping up in random spots on the screen instead of always in center.

The only thing busted about Wesker is the zero punishment for missed lunges which makes him out of line with other killers. Plus his recovery and ability to keep momentum even without dashing means he's almost never out of chase.
Missing the lunge is already a punishment like if you miss the second lunge you end up so far away from them and his hitboxes are really janky right now for when it decides to vault pallets or Windows so they should fix that before giving him any kind of penalty

Honestly I wish it was 50 meters base. Even with 40 it has been making people paranoid on gens, and messing with their skill checks it screws them up sometimes.

Wouldn't this build be even better on Doc? With double calm add-ons the terror radius increases by 14m, to a total of 46m. I am not really sure how distressing is calculated, but this could give a TR of 54m to 57,5m. So all the benefits of this build, with a even larger TR and harder skill checks.

Why people are saying that Superior Anatomy on Wesker isn't that good ? If survivor fast vaults in 8 meters of you ( very specific ) you get 40% vault speed on pallets and windows and it deactivates for 30 seconds when vaulting the window but not pallet. I'm just asking cause it sounds OP on him but people are saying diffrent but idk i didn't played PTB, i'm console player and i only have laptop that runs like shit
bamboozle+superior anatomy are meta perks for him. this build is mostly meme build that you'll see on The game map but doctor does it better because he can replace two of the perks(unnerving and sloppy) with hex lullaby and hex undying and run same anti-heal build that makes nearly impossible to heal with reverse flying skill-checks with no noise indicators on gens with calm purple add-on and green range.
it's weird to me that bhvr is only now giving killers bigger terror radii than 32m. imo doctor and oni should get 40m as well. doctor obviously because hes the only killer whos power works on a terror radius basis, and oni because... well. hes big and scary

Lmao I play unnerving presence Chlorophobia bamboozle pain res and I bring survivor to midwich or the game. Small maps big terror radius killers are the best
i don't find it op, you get infinite repair stacks on perks and infinite distortion for survivor perks vs wesker and doctor. and with survivor you don't have to get multiple sync perks like killers have to in order to make their builds do something. you can also with survivors but its not needed.

This not hitting survivor or vaulting when they are vaulting is so bad and it need to be fixed. If survivor slow vault when you have your Uroboros out you can't do shit to them. I hope it's just a bug and devs will fix this
