i hate to be the one to tell you this but most people who actively cheat on dbd have multiple free accounts from the free week on epic games or just buy them for $2 off of other cheaters and account suppliers
you do know they have thousands of accounts on epic games since the free week. They just had to have bot made accounts. Can tell they more then likely are on epic since the globe

I hope they fix the cheating situation soon. It feels like the SBMM system has amplified the impact cheaters have on the game since they all climb to the top quickly (increasing their visibility, too). This is bad for the game. :(
@@hens333 Kller has said in the past that the devs are working on the problem constantly. He's a fog whisperer, he knows what he's talking about, at least to some degree. He has also argued that the devs don't publically acknowledge or talk about this because that would only serve as an indicator for cheaters as to when they can expect new changes to adapt to. But it's true, at least a small public statement without going much into detail wouldn't be bbad, just so that the community at large knows that the devs are not sitting idle.
the issue is that there was a time where DBD was free on epic so alot of repeat offenders have no care in the world because of having so many accounts so even though theres anti cheat now theres gonna be a while until it dies down.
Notice how both of the hackers have the globe, this means that they're either on Console, Epic Games Store, or Microsoft Store. I wonder which game store gave out DBD for free for an extended period of time. From Choy's interview with the hacker, the guy mentioned that some people, literally one guy made hundreds to thousands of accounts and got DBD for Free on the Epic Games Store... And this is just one guy.
before egs even had dbd I experienced a lot of cheaters from crossplatform. it's on pc gamepass on microsoft store, which has free/very cheap trial codes
There's a cheat that allows you to change your platform. You can play on steam and appear as playing on console/MSS/EGS or link your profile to other players. Plus, with the MSS you can play any game for free if you log in with an account that has the game. Sorta like PSN.

A guy asked his UA-cam Advisor "Why are my cheater videos getting more views than my other content?" and his UA-cam advisor told him "When a game nears the end of it's lifecycle people gravitate towards the more negative media such as cheater videos". It was roughly something like this. Makes me wonder if DBD is indeed dying like R6 Siege was said to be. Unless BHVR pull their finger out and deal with them.

Nope. Giving away every speed perk in the game is not a fix but a bandaid. Also neither simple nor practical. Just make servers decide/check if a speed modifier is allowed or not.

I hardly play killer anymore but when I do I feel like I encounter subtle cheaters like Claudette. Sometimes even with bloodlust it’s still hard to catch up with these cheaters. I’m glad you didn’t blur out their names. These cheaters need to be exposed and banned from the game. They’re taking the fun out of playing.

I have actually infiltrated and have been gathering information on a DBD hacking discord to send to the devs. It's crazy how easy these cheats are to install and use, and they're completely free. Everytime BHVR make a fix, hackers just make a new SSL bypass or something to completely disregard the fix. There is also a cheat called "Horologium" which essentially lets players put more than four perks on, disguised as four perks, and they can put as many addons and offerings on as they want. DBD is in a complete shit storm of hacks and cheats right now, I actually don't know if they can come back from this.
I fucking love Dark Theory cuz it isn’t even good. The speed boost is barely noticeable and typically won’t impact chase all that much, but there’ll be ONE fucker who has their muscle memory thrown off by the speed boost and miss a swing. And that fucker is me.
@@hoarder1975 2% is 2%. You're at 102% speed instead of 100%. That's 2% off against a 110% killer making the difference 8%. Against a 115% it's a little less noticeable I'm sure, but it's still a difference. Especially against the hindered status effect, you'd barely see a difference than normal speed which would weaken hindrance by a lot too. The only thing bad about the perk is you're limited to using it in a fairly small area which will likely have maybe 1-2 pallets.

I just believe Dark Theory’s limited range heavily hinders its upsides and personally find it the weakest of the 4 Boons. I just think its fun that a speed boost so fucking small can sometimes cause a killer to miss an attack by fucking around with muscle memory.

I'd say Shadow Step and Exponential are worse. Personally I'd put it right under CoH in terms of usefulness out of the 4 boon perks. Well I dunno, Shadow Step MIGHT be better if the killer doesn't have ears, which to my surprise some apparently don't wear headphones or listen to in game music and think that games should still go fine for them.

Last time I noticed a cheater was on tofu cheat where they had the game hostage with the survivors and killer not able to interact with one another but in the end game chat tofu had said a lot of things…funny…he didn’t say those things though cause he was still stuck in hostage game. Cheater/hackers can still your name and use in the chats, that’s horror or and scares me. I hate any hacks of anything man, like just hack the skins, not ruin the matches for both sides.
Man, hackers theese days. Don't even try thinking. If i was a hacker and tried to be subtle, I'd first of all bring the new boon that gives you a 2% speed buff. Keep a 2% speed buff on me. Can't be hold accountable for speedy. No wallhacks. Just an easy way to figure out im hacking. Even if i try to fall for mindgames, getting the wallhack info already makes it impossible for me to hide. Distortion a 100% basekit. Easy to figure out when to not cheat by perk guess+less room for getting caught. If im using healing hacks, empathic connection and botany+medkit maybe. Can't tell the difference between hacks and the perks. If im gen teleporting, probably a key with the aura reading add-on and maybe smthng like QNQ+urban, so i can blame them if i get called out. If gen speed probably a toolbox and built to last, also duration add-ons. No one will question it. Really, being a subtle hacker is extremely easy if you're smart, getting an around 100% undetection rate. Being dumb and hacking, is not.
I do want to say something about the possibility of multiple hackers in a game: The first hacker game I ever had, my friend and I were a duo of survivors. One of our fellow survivors was cheating. They forced us to pick ourselves up when we got downed, so it would look like we were cheating with like an infinite, instant Unbreakable. The only way the killer could know our innocence, I suppose, is that we were marked as being on a different platform before DbD went to Epic, as we both played on PlayStation. Cheaters /can/ spread their cheats onto other players in a match, and there's nothing they can do about it. When my buddy and I found out what was happening, we deliberately tried to get the killer - Bubba - to kill us to end his suffering. But the hackerman Dwight wouldn't let us die.
Quick tip: If that happens to you again, get the killers attention and lead them to a locker. Then just enter it and let them grab you. That way you can't get insta-healed by the cheater. I suppose the only thing the cheater can do is bodyblocking the locker you are in, but he can't do that with multiple lockers at once.
I'm surprised how many PC players go against hackers on a regular basis. I'm on Xbox and a survivor main, and I've only been against hackers a couple of times (I'd say about 10-15 times?). From speedhacking teammates, to Billies that can turn sharp 90° angles when using a chainsaw, Killers with speedhacks AND throwing Huntress hatchets at the speed of light, to straight up teleportation for both sides. It's crazy, but I can't say that I don't enjoy it slightly
I'll honestly never understand buying hacks for something like Dead By Daylight, it's a completely stupid to buy mod menus for a game where your rank resets every month. I'd understand if you stayed in Red Ranks after reset still or were close, but you go back to Ash 4, so just why? Note I don't condone mod menu users, just if you are why something like DBD?

Every game has cheaters and it's getting worse. But the main thing I took from this video is that even if everyone is cheating the killer can still get 2 kills. I just honestly don't like this game and I don't see the appeal.
Dude, Hens has like over 10000 hours in this game and also does competive play. What he still can cobble together, in this situation, is not indicative of what you can expect from the average killer at all.
If anyone is wondering I was deep searching about bond and Vigil hacks, found where they get it, but earlier when it started archives weren't encrypted but now they are. files were like "/Survivor/Perks/Bond" now is "as..fhiejna1...." random letters, numbers and different ones also. :)
Epic Games Store, still on PC but counts as console. They had a free month or whatever where you could just mass-create accounts, bunch of hackers stocked up on hundreds of burner accounts for cheating. Also a hack exists for changing whether the globe icon shows or not. The game basically has total trust for every game client.
At this point I just hope that the cheaters destroy Dbd so that the brain dead devs can stop collecting a pay check for doing the bare minimum, the only department at BHVR that has improved is the cosmetic designs department and the marketing team selling this hot piece of garbage
Trying to play dbd currently you need to cheat to even be able to contend because literally everyone uses exploits and behaviour doesn’t seem to care much at all

I play since 2016, and ONLY NOW, in 2022 they fix nurse bugs. There is ZERO hope for normal anti cheat.

The game needs an indicator that shows the Survivors' speed on the HUD. If cheats can't be fixed, they should at least add this feature.

Every game has cheaters and it's getting worse. But the main thing I took from this video is that even if everyone is cheating the killer can still get 2 kills. I just honestly don't like this game and I don't see the appeal.
Dude, Hens has like over 10000 hours in this game and also does competive play. What he still can cobble together, in this situation, is not indicative of what you can expect from the average killer at all.

Epic Games Store, still on PC but counts as console. They had a free month or whatever where you could just mass-create accounts, bunch of hackers stocked up on hundreds of burner accounts for cheating.
Also a hack exists for changing whether the globe icon shows or not. The game basically has total trust for every game client.
