One of my faves and for the past year was contemplating between the white and rose gold. But I just fell in love with 100th anniversary platinum. The applied Arabic numerals, the bright finish white hands, platinum dial and finally the special thread got me. Love at first sight. I’ve already sent an email my AD to see if I can get my hands on one.
Hi, I am going to buy a Patrimony 42mm manual or a Historique American 1921, but I would like you to explain why there is such a high difference of price between the two models despite they have the same caliber 4400. I am sure there is a reason, but it’s important for me to know before taking the final decision. Thanks. Paolo
@@watchestv-com I just tried it on yesterday. The piece is beautiful and super light weighted. Fits perfectly on my wrist. I think VC did it right this time, and it is available in-store so no waitlist!
A nice watch, but one thing is absolutely infuriating. The seconds subdial isn't on the same 45° angle, as the main dial. It's instead pointing to twelve o'clock as on a usual watch. On the original models, it's also on a 45° angle. Really infuriating for me.
Great video about one of the most beautiful icons in the watch industry. Thanks, MA!
Very welcome and totally agree with you
This is such a great watch. Thanks for sharing.
It sure is, really like a lot and could totally see myself wearing it!!! The best to you
"Understatement, smaller size, classical discretion," love it! Great video. The 36mm white gold is my grail.
American 1921 it’s best design until now. Simple, elegant and unique. Master piece. Greatness.
I want to dislike people who dislike your videos. Love your vids and knowledge! Keep following your passion!
That’s very nice and couldn’t agree more 😂😂👍👍👍✌️
Great content, thanks Marc Andre 👍.
Happy you enjoyed it 👍👍
Thanks MA-D. Great content as always. Viva Watchmaking! Excelsior!
Very nice fo you, thanks and a big VIVA back to you!!

That's very kind of you and makes us tremendously happy!!! The very best to you
Superb piece, really like the cushion shape and angled dial.
It’s very elegant on the wrist
Another awesome video Marc also another nice updated VC American 1921.
Thanks so much, makes us really happy

Can't wait for those new Cartiers. Great content as always.
Thanks and yes they also came out with a few interesting things 👍
Nice! This is my favorite watch in existence right now. I am partial to yellow gold case but platinum is also very beautiful.
Platinum is always nice, but yellow gold would work for me too ;)
mine is the Jacob Mystery tourbillion. nothing tops that triple axis in the center of that twisting whirlpool of jewels.
My favorite is the VC Overseas blue dial Perpetual Open-worked in pink gold. Now that’s a very nice watch. Hope to obtain this year!
Oh yes that one is a killer for sure 👍👍
One of my favorite Designs from Vacheron
We understand 👍👍
I would not dare to wear such a beautiful watch
But it’s meant to be ;)
Nice thin watch. Any idea where these images 0:58 come from, book possibly? I'd go for any of those rectangulars instead of any modern watch.
It’s from VC’s own archive
@@watchestv-com I see, thank you for answer.
Love the 21, one of the few models of watch I think looks good in gold...
Indeed really works
Nice share...while not a fan of the 1921, I do plan a VC in the future...Viva VC.
Sweet ;) which one do you have your eyes on?
@@watchestv-com Probably an OS Chrono...3 hand if price is right :-)
I got the 40mm in pink gold and I definitely LOVE it 😍
Nice video mate 🇺🇸
Thanks and very nice of you!!
In strictly design point of view, between yellow gold and white gold which gild do you think if matches better with this particular design and watch?
Fantastic if you are lucky enough to get one of them Enjoy great vlog
Thanks a lot and i only wish this 🙏🙏
100 yrs. old design !!! 😍😍.
And still so right!
@@watchestv-com Si.
One in bronze for me! Well thought idea!
Haha, don't think they thought of that version 😉
@4:57 MAD _en réflexion_ !!!
hahaha, you have a good eye ;)

OHHH yes like that one ...thank you for the vid
It’s really nice, really like it, thanks for the comment
On my next shopping list...in probably a few years.
And that's fine too, the wait is part of the journey ;)

Very poetic. I think VC needs to spread their wings and release different dial options that capture the era this watch belongs to
Could be very interesting indeed, a difficult exercise but interesting nonetheless
Masterpiece
A pure classic!
Super watches, but i'm more interested in the Split seconds chrono! Can we see it? Thanks as always...
Welcome and we’ll do our best 👍
It’s a fantastic watch but I can see my crown flying across the room every five minutes. How you you not catch it on everything. 😢
Don't worry, it's quite well stuck to the piece ;)
That crown is just asking to be whacked .
W Watchmaking
That’s right 👍👍
Love it. Now I just have to sell all my worldly goods to get one😂❤️🙏
That’s always the issue ;)

You have a good eye for this 👍
That's the biggest myth of this watch for me...
I was looking for this comment. I never understood this design choice.
The excellence platine one is amazing! Now please give us what we’re craving for, the Greubel gmt on a bracelet! 😁
Don't worry, coming soon ;)
Gorgeous conceptually. Perhaps lugs should have been longer and more curved downwards. Watch is quite large and does not sit flat on top of the wrist.

Super model iconique
Dommage que ce soit en anglais alors vous êtes tous deux français (ou suisse)
Surtout que son anglais fait mal aux oreilles !
