The last version, with the day/date & power reserve complications, has to be the best all-round practical, affordable and prestigious high-end watch available today! AMAZING watches (nay, works of horological art) and presented in a great review as well. 11/10!
Not the base model...The base model in the collection, the FiftySix Self-Winding, uses a “manufacture”, rather than in-house, movement. Named the cal. 1326, it is based on the Cartier 1904 MC that was introduced in 2012 as Cartier was rapidly building up its watch manufacturing prowess.you can read more here. En realidad son diseños bastante antiguos, no tienen nada de nuevo. Sí son relojes NUEVOS>EN EL SENTIDO LITERAL DE LA PALABRA. Y muy bellos por cierto.
So a Vacheron Constantin with a Cartier movement wtf is this sh*t. I thought Vacheron were the Gurus. if I'm spending 12k after taxes the least Vacheron could do was the fk movement. I have seen the watch in person an is great, stunning, but a FK cartier movement wow wow wow wow.

The PRECIOUS metal watches would be a MIRACLE TIM. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
Tim, did you try the chocolate with VC maltese cross on it? How was it?
I would love to see a full review of the 56 hand wind for $11,000. I could actually afford that.
the model 56 of VC has anti reflecting shapire cristal ?
Awesome review Tim!
I am impressed. Terrific job presenting the watches as usual. I assume the 56 line will hit stores in 3 to 6 months.
Cheers
What's the resale like on Vacheron and Lange now that Patek, AP and Rolex are in short supply relative to the recent past?
They all have terrible resale...they are kaur hard to get ... and only some sport models of patek have good resale
Great content. Nice video mate
Better to buy a watch that need not be sold
The fiftysix does have Geneva Hallmark as it says in their website

That translucent enamel at 7:40 should offer VC a precedent for more simple, three-handed, unadorned skeleton watches
JLC sector dial all day over this.. this is really a JLC with a VC logo!
ripperx444 no at all ? They use the group movement, jlc has their own in-house
Entry level FiftySix model would be more interesting with a 36-38mm option
i can only dream
Glad we could help provide imagery for the dream. Thanks for watching! --Marketing Team
“Talking about strap ons?” Whoa, big fella.
Yeah, I wanted to say that in a room full of sales reps to see if anyone noticed... nope!
Best,
Tim
I thought they were JLC watches...
I'm not grokking the nuance in your statement. Is that an insult to Vacheron? JLC watches are superb.

did you eat the chocolate ?
Are those Swiss chocolates ? Why isn't anybody eating them ?
For some odd reason after reading your comment the team here got a bit hungry...
Thanks for watching!

I saw nothing that would compel me to spend 50-100k. Despite his colorful, and superfluous use of adjectives these watches are very uninspiring.
Thanks for commenting! What brands impressed you at SIHH or Basel this year?

Very blah design.
Strangely, vacheron looks cheap
