I stayed a month with a palestinean family in the west bank and this was exactly my experience! Delicious food, hospitality, family , generosity, more delicious food!, kindness, song, bright joyful children that wanted to show me their latest school lessons,oh, I could go on and on! I recieved gifts from families that WE visited and treated to wonderful meals. In every household we visited I felt like I was a guest of honor. The warmth of Palestineans is nearly indescribable. My time in the west bank was truly the best trip I have ever experienced. By the end of my trip and it was time for me to go it was very difficult to leave Palestine and her people which i had grown to love very much. ❤️

I've been walking with a broken heart and crying every day for the injustice they are suffering, for the so many lives taken away from this world. As an American living in Palestine, I had to learn not to admire things in people's homes too much, because they would try to give me anything I liked. This spirit of generosity is so much a part of the everyday culture. I can't love this video enough!

Mason Parr, media sensationalize everything to gather views. They are pathetic. Even in US, an average Joe doesn’t really see our differences in color, religion or race. We just like to work and provide for our family and live in peace just like everyone else.

Living in South Africa, i couldn't help but notice the one-sided coverage in Western news that sought always to portray Palestinians in the worst light possible, but i wasn't buying it. I understand media framing too well and see America's blind support for Israel. I'm grateful for your video my man It's a breath of fresh air from the toxic media coverage of Palestine
This is what I always say to the idiots who hear the news from channels originally owned by a Zionist. Do you know that because of the occupation this happy family could be in a tent and that the law of occupation forcefully took the land?

Yes I’m very proud Palestinian. I don’t like to incite violence, but we have been under Apartheid occupation for so long, and it seems that no one is hearing our voices. Unfortunately, what Hamas did, finally made the world opinion to see the injustices my people been enduring. I am American, retired from the army. I was stationed in Saudi Arabia in 2018 when I visited Israel. One morning my Palestinian taxi driver said he was taking me for a drive-I remember my horror when I saw that large red sign forbidding Jews to enter, I thought I was being kidnapped, but he took me to Jericho, where I had tea with his friends. I had such a good time. I am sad to see what’s going today, as long as I can dream of a better world…….Eternal blessings for Palestine.
You do realize those signs are literally there because of the Israeli government right? They’ve been trying to scare their own citizens away from sympathizing with palestinians for decades
The red signs on the roads do not say that Jews are prohibited from entering the PA-controlled areas. They say that Israeli citizens are prohibited from entering. That is because Israel itself made it illegal for its citizens to enter certain areas of the West Bank. This, however, does not stop them from entering. Many Arab Israelis (with blue license plates and blue IDs) enter and leave the West Bank without problems (at least, before the current war).

Actually, Islam says that women can wear whatever they want when at home amongst family as long as it is decent. Men too, duh. Outside, however, both men and women are required to be modest, whether it's clothes or looks. Islam also says that women, along with men, have the right to be educated. Women may work if they want to but they don't _have_ to. Men _must_ work to provide for their families. When a women gets her salary, the money's her own. When a man gets his salary, his wife, parents and children also have a right to it. Now, if the man is away the whole day, and the woman chooses not to work, would it be fair to have the man come home from a day of work and also cook? Of course, if they both work, then duties may be divided if needed. My Dad can cook as well as my Mum. My Grandfather can cook as well as my Gran. My brothers bake better than I do. Stop mistaking _religion_ for _culture._

She's just so nice and kind and humble and honest woman I have ever met. I remember her story about how she lost her 8 family member because of the siege back in her Country. I hope that no matter where she is now she's safe and her family.
I'm tearing up as I see those smiling kids and those beautiful Palestinian people and their hospitality and what they have go through under a brutal israeli occupation. Watching from Somalia.
Part of the teachings of Islam is that you have to treat your guests like a King , because having them in your house invites blessing into your home... that’s why they’re very happy when you came over...

That welcome to Palestine was freaking amazing. The guy that asked your favorite song and then he sang his favorite was just so wholesome. The Palestinian people are one of a kind.❤️ How anyone could want to hurt these people is beyond my comprehension. I pray for the freedom of Palestine. 🇵🇸
@Blue Star How is it imaginary if there is a land and people living on it? How can you say it is non existent if most of the world recognize it (140 countries)?

For those who don't know, there's a bunch of signs put up by the Israeli military around Palestinian villages that basically go "BEWARE OF ARABS"
You do realize those signs are literally there because of the Israeli government right? They’ve been trying to scare their own citizens away from sympathizing with palestinians for decades
I’m
Glad you experienced that! Most don’t have the privilege

You are Sinhalese, am I correct? Pleasure to meet you, man. The Sinhalese are the true ethnic people of Sri Lanka. I've met some of them. One of the things I admire about Palestine is, despite the war and hurdles, the literacy rate is 98.4%. How unbelievable is that? Very well educated people.
Where as America has 44 million people who are illiterate.

@@Bboy4EverIL Buddy, if your knowledge of the Palestinian situation is based on media you are in denial. I've seen Jews speaking for the rights of Palestine cause they know the truth and I respect them. Can’t believe this is coming from an Indian coz all i see is their appreciation for israel n calling Palestinians terrorists
@@valaititarka3318 Palestinians are certainly not terrorists. The vast majority among them seek a peaceful settlement. However, if one is willing to call some Zionist elements in the 1920s,30s terrorists (as per today's standards), the same would apply to Hamas or Hezbollah (on the Lebanese side). I've lived among people from this region for many years, so I can see the conflict from different perspectives. I don't think the UN can help settle the conflict - Palestinians and Israelis have to talk 1:1. If engagements like in the video above are more frequent, solutions will emerge. Solutions can't emerge when people can't even talk to each other.

In 1985 I experienced what 'hospitality' means when I visited a Palestinian village near a place called 'Rosh Pina'. I didn't know anyone there. Yet I was invited to sit with a group of people on a large carpet that was laid on the ground outdoors under the sky. We spoke and drank coke. After a while, food was brought for everyone on big brass trays. It was so delicious (pita bread with eggs fried in a very specific way and a cooked green vegetable (I don't know what it was but it was delicioys). I can still remember that meal to this day and especially the overwhelming feeling of love and hospitality shown to me.
