Right on man, exactly the video I needed. Thanks for posting!
No problem! Glad it helped Will!
Tks for sharing Daniel. I have an asphalt scuffed oil tank which I think I will replace now and check tension on my chain. Tks again.
Your welcome sir, good luck and safe riding this season!
Thanks for info!
Thanks for watching Cole!
If you have a newer cat with the Aluminum lower gear I highly recommend the BDX steel replacement. Keeps the oil from turning to "tin man jizz"
Great suggestion, idk why anyone would run a aluminum gear on those chain cases. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen!
@Daniel Tucker it was for weight savings, it's rare that they actually fail, they just wear and make a royal mess.
Makes sense!
hey Dan question? why not drill and tap a 1/4" plug in the bottom of the casing for easy draining?
I think it could work if done correctly!
Dan could you use blue loctite on the chain case bolts when putting it back on? Thanks for the video
I wouldn’t, just torque them to spec and you should be dialed! Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
At what point does the oil drain? I assume as you loosened all the bolts oil started draining at the bottom. And rewatching your video, it looks clean (oil free) as you moved the 2 cycle tank away.
It starts draining once you break the seal on the bottom bolts. It’s only 12oz. so it’s not much oil at all. Hope that helps!
Yo where did you get them running boards?
How to adjust oil in zr 6000
Never messed with them, not sure on that.
What ratio do you use for 2 cycle oil? I have an m8000 with big bore and I don’t use the factory oil
You just add oil to the sleds, they are oil injected.
Hey Dan, I was told I couldn't tension up my chain and that since it is auto adjustable I need to buy a new adjuster. I hear chain slap everytime I go im and out of reverse. I have the snopro
Sounds like it’s shot for sure. Dig into it and see what you find, but it is an auto adjust that tensions when in reverse. Don’t run it anymore!
@@DanMX2112 sweet man appreciate it! I wasn't quite understanding when it did the adjustments but it makes sense now. Thanks man
Thanks for watching, I appreciate you!
Пришло время менять натяжитель цепи, башмак совсем стерся. Nb! На 7000 километрах , развалился натяжитель, разрушило весь корпус кробки.
Doesn't seem like the auto adjuster worked very well
Ya I thought the same thing, and maybe it’s a matter of reversing longer or harder for it to take effect, who knows.
And when you back up slacking chain so adjusted kicks in and auto adjusted
Nice, that makes total sense! Thanks Dave, hope you enjoyed the video.
