I have one of these running via dc power. If I plug an Ethernet cable to it and Connect the other end to another camera, would the second camera work?

As the colour night vision needs some light to work, seeing how dark the night is and how much light is showing to see how powerful the colour night vision is and how much light is needed to view a decent picture.

i am not using the ethernet and i don't, want to drill a bigger hole into my soffit than i need can i cut off the ethernet plug tape up the end of the cable then just drill the hole size for the power plug and push both cables through my soffit board, will the camera still work ok thanks

Yes. The camera will still work. All it need is a power supply and stable wifi connection.

Just bought three of these cameras and sent them straight back as they are totally unusable. The cable is so short it isn't even long enough for internal walls let alone passing through breeze block and an external stone skin.

Hey that can be solved, I have multiple cams that had short cable adaptor wires, I cut the wire extended the length with a 1mm wire and it was good to go. Just improvised as there were no adaptors available with longer cables in the market

There is no way to download videos on the computer, just to force the user to hire the cloud service, I regretted the purchase, the image is very panoramic, it makes it difficult to recognize people who pass in front of my house, it is not possible to read license plates.
