Just watched a leopard pull a warthog the same size as itself out of its burrow whilst it was still struggling ! Just shows how powerful pound for pound those cats are!
Wow! She literally went down into the burrow and killed her inside it. First time seeing that happen. We didn’t even hear the warthog scream or anything. Very quiet kill.
That's the first time I've seen a skull bite used by a lion. I know it was probably the only area the lioness could get hold of but it has demobilised the Warthog completely. Just shows other big cats can use this not just the jaguar
The lioness did not deliberately bite the skull, it was the first part of the warthog that was available for a grip. The lioness was waiting for a chance to shift for a throat grip and meanwhile the warthog was playing posum to make a dash when the lion changes her grip.

Think it was a quick kill. She may have gotten it just in the side of the skull. Lots of blood there. Which isn’t typical of a suffocation kill. So she either got some of those tusks to her neck or she killed it by another means, like the skull
This must have been a very quick and efficient kill, I barely heard a squeal from the warthog. Normally the poor thing is squealing even when it is half-eaten.
