awesome vid Mark, I am looking to upgrade from my stock Carver wheels on my C7 complete. I have been considering Peralta Snakes to get a bit more slippery, but these are interesting to me as well. Do you have experience with the Snakes? I think ultimately I'll get one of those 2 wheels, and then a slightly smaller, faster wheel for the park
I haven't tried the snakes myself but I heard from some other riders that they found them too slippery for what that is worth. I've been really happy with these though, a good sliding wheel that still has enough grip for deep carves.
@@MarktheLandlockedSurfer Awesome, thanks again. I went ahead and ordered the CloudWheel Macaron 65mm version of this wheel. You have the only review on the net right now for surf skate use. I also haven't seen a snakes vid review. The wheels reviews are super helpful!! btw - if you are open to selling on any of your demo equipment, could you please send me a message? I just figured I'd ask as I am looking to sample a few wheels and setups but don't have the cash to just buy a bunch of completes and new wheel sets!
I bought these wheels and return it one time due to uneven surface. And bought second new set but problem still same. Btw it’s the lollipop. Disappointed
@@MarktheLandlockedSurfer yup it was the contact patch uneven. When I spin the wheel is vibrating. Can see up and down. Means the wheels is not perfectly round.
@@MarktheLandlockedSurfer yup I just email their support today. And they promised to sent me a new set. But I have low hope that it will be perfect. The set I have now is one wheel is badly in shape and the rest is mildly out of shape…..
Good review mark and thanks for covering both the flatland and bowl experiences. 😃👍
Another good review, I wondered about these wheels and they do look like they'll work for me with my slide problems.
thanks for this, please keep it coming!
Damn these look fun. I might get these for the slide factor you talked about.
Request for the 821a Snakes vs the old formula 75a :) I have the 75a and they have a really unique controlled slide

try them on a non Swell Tech board that doesn't have a huge wheel base. Can't really get a good take with reviewing on Swell Tech

Quality control issues? Was it the wheel contact patch or something else?

I even try on other bearings and switch to other side of the truck. Definitely the wheel problem.
@@dankidrobot4078 Sorry to hear that, that is disappointing
