Please reveal what size bolt is used. Where can one purchase a replacement bolt?

Thank you for posting this. I just purchased my first Kenmore free arm (158.1914). Were there tables specifically made for the free arm? Or were the tables/cabinets/etc. interchangable between flatbeds and free arms? Thanks.

I am enjoying your Kenmore series. Do you have or will you consider making a video on the upper thread tension knob/spring assembly. I don't think mine is assembled correctly. Thanks for all your help.

Do you have a video showing how to install / remove Kenmore flatbeds in cabinets with the spring lift mechanism? I searched your channel but only found one where you showed one of the lifts in an empty cabinet.

HELP. I pulled my esperia tension knob off and it won't go back together.Could you do a video on it or steer me to some pictures? Sorry for being off topic. I followed the instruction manual but It shows threads or a spring under the know but I don't see either.I need a service manual like the one that was with your esperia.

I'm new to all of this vintage sewing
I saw you on Facebook. I was "gifted " my Mom's Bernina's. I have a 731 and need a knee control. Do you know where I could find one?

That is a tough one. I would check Ebay and Etsy, though I've had the most luck in finding odd parts at bonanza.com

I have a Kenmore free arm sewing machine and an older sewing table that has the two bolts at the back for the machine to sit down onto. As a free arm machine, I don't have those slots in the bottom of my machine. Where do you find this board to install into a sewing table?

If your machine does not have the bolt holes, then it likely was not designed for one of these tables. Most Kenmore machines did not use this kind of setup and I've noticed that tables became less common during this period as many families already had one at home and did not want to pay the dizzying prices for them. Most of this model series were purchased with cases that came standard. Your Kenmore may have been designed for a table but your table and machine may not be compatible. That is a fairly common thing to find as sewing 'stuff' typically gets jumbled over the years as machines pass from one owner to the other.
