People don't realize it but this is the most important golf instruction video on the entirety of youtube, bar none. This exactly what i discovered myself separately regarding the rotation aspect of the entire core in the backswing and I went from an 18 handicap to a 7 handicap. You can use this for all irons, woods and driver. Even aspects of this can help with chipping too.
This is one of the best coaching videos I’ve watched. Couple of things I’ve struggled with and now I feel like I know what to focus on at the range… Thanks for your work!!
After watching this video the first time, I started playing some of my best golf ever. Every time I lose “it”, I come back to this video and focus on the basics. Great video!
This was incredible. I'm soon to begin playing golf, and this taught me so much! What an amazing instructor. Golf is fascinating to me but very intimidating. This eased my nerves substantially.
I've been fighting an in to out path for a long time and tried numerous tips to correct it. I've always played a short back swing because I thought a longer back swing made me lose control. I watched this video a long time ago and thought it wasn't for me. After not finding a solution, I came back here and gave it a go, trying a bigger turn, just like you described in the video. I now realise my short back swing led to me not having any space whatsoever for my down swing. My feel now is turning my chest to the sky and right back pocket going back behind me, and the butt of the club being over my heel. Early days but judging from my divots, the swing path has straightened out a lot. A lot. And I'm hitting it longer. 150 metres required a 7 iron before, I takes an 8 iron now.
This is the best video I’ve seen from you guys because this is the first time I’ve seen you start from the beginning to the end of an iron lesson. Definitely not saying there hasn’t been other incredible lessons but I think this one will help all of us correct most aspects of our iron deficiencies. Thanks as always for amazing work guys.
You guys are so good !!! I like you teach this with a real high handicap !!! This makes me fell motivated !! Thanks !! You guys need to come to SF Bay Area to teach !!!
This last week ive been practicing at home, just making sure to turn in the backswing, but even more important for myself, to rotate through the whole swing. Im a wildly inconsistent player, with thin shots, duffs, left and right shots, and i feel like this will really tweak my game. Especially letting my left knee bend inwards, was something ive had to accept. I'm simply not as flexible as i would like to think, and this makes it so much easier
Oh and i forgot to mention, very incredibly flicky wrists, no matter how hard i fight it. Which is probably the root of most of my issues. Turns out that rotating my body, makes my hands more steady, and is less guesswork to time things perfectly. Pray for me in my 2023 season, i need a breakthrough!
That was great I’ve had spine fusion and I’ve been doing reverse tilt both directions it was good too see some tips I’ll go watch reverse tilt on y’all’s app 🙌thank you
Got to say lads, your lessons are top notch. Nice and simple. We can all get stuck trying to be so still over the ball. I used to do a full swing and turn, then thought it wasn't the way to go. Stuck somewhere in the middle now lol. But your lessons give such good pointers to practice on. And I see Mr Rai's hole in one had you all over on the logo front.
Excellent vid, I can relate to having the reverse spine angle, I like to exaggerate firing the right hip back to help get the weight/turn on that side, power seems effortless on a good downswing. Hope to visit one day for a lesson with Andy & Piers.
I’ve always been curious. Do you guys just use your phones to record lessons and videos? Everyone else seems like they have this high quality camera that sits on a a tripod but from what I’ve noticed you guys put out just as good if not better lesson content and I don’t see a $600 brand camera?
I can definitely see myself in the “before“ video. I have trouble leaning toward the target because I want to encourage a ball then turf strike. Every time I feel like I turn away from the ball I feel like I get stuck and hit the ball fat. This game is tough!! 😂
Hi. Been picking up some great tips from your videos👍. Recently starting playing again after 8 years and I've noticed you analyse swings people send in to you. I'd really appreciate a bit of help if I could send you a video of my swing. I think I know my problem but need some pointers/drills to help fix it.
Well done guys 👏 It looked like Tony thought he had to use strength to control every 'position' in the 'hit a golf ball motion' and that resulted in a lot of physical tension. When you got him to let that concept go, he began to swing. He seems to have some balance issue though and was wobbling and loosing balance in the finish. I'm guessing his trainers/runners weren't helping since his feet seemed to slip around quite easily, but did you see something in his swing that may have contributed?
Thanks Rufuss! Yes it's such an important thing to understand what concepts we are running as they can hold us back. Yes when the pivot motion is out then it can lead to balance issues. Plus giving Tony something new will also challenge him to stay balanced. The better and more comfortable he got with both these changes, he would stead things out when it's more natural.
Why didn't you guys address that weird right hand grip? Seems like it was making him hold the club in a strange way and restrict his control over the face a bit.
100% the biggest problem with everyday golfers, especially older ones, is that they are super tight through their lower backs and shoulders. Worth forking out to see a osteopath and get the body checked out.
Great golf advice! Thanks for all the content. As a doctor, I recommend to avoid discussing potential long term back issues. This is just not helpful and not backed up with any evidence.

Probably the best swing analysis and correction through thorough explanation on all of You Tube.

Yes this is so key. If you can get your pivot motion going, it make a huge impact on the rest of the game!!
This is one of the best coaching videos I’ve watched. Couple of things I’ve struggled with and now I feel like I know what to focus on at the range… Thanks for your work!!
Great to hear David! Happy to hear these are helpful. We love sharing these lessons with you guys.
Doesn't get any better than this... straight forward... without being annoying like so many of the other teachers...
Glad you enjoyed it. We have some more great ones coming soon. Hope they help.

easy to understand. not over technical. good video
Fair play, that’s a great lesson you’ve given him there. Great sequence of fixes and very well explained 👏
Fantastic video. Definitely going to give this a try.
You guys do such a good job with your students, making it easy to learn. And I learn a lot myself as well.
Thanks! Simplicity is key and nothing pleases us more to see the smile on their face after.
Great lesson

Ngl I thought that was Joey D in the thumbnail 😂
The shirt is too dull for cold cuts😂
Joey D sucks!!!

Great lesson guys
Very good lesson and great results. Well done Tony.
Thanks. Tony did well here!
Great tip with the left knee moving in

Thanks Lee. Yes this move can be a killer! Would love to help you with your game at some point.
I hope I can apply what I just watched 🙏
Well done guys excellent work 👏 👍
Thanks Roy. Hope all is well!
This is great content! How often do we see instruction that assumes we have a fully toned gym/yoga body !?!
Great instruction.
Appreciate it John.

Yes Brandon. We use to use DSLR cameras but lately we have been back to the phones. So simple and good quality.
This is great stuff lads
Thanks Ciaran.
another satisfied customer!!! well done
simply great ....
Great video chaps
Thanks. Hope it was useful
the foot flair really helped me..now I can turn that far.
This lesson Works great for me from irons to 3 wood, when it comes to my driver seems to make it worse….

Good job chaps. I did recognize the chicken wing, my follow thru is almost identical… maybe this tip of getting the toe to win the race may help.
Let us know how that goes Simmo. It's definitely a good idea if your miss is to the right.
Hi. I really enjoy your videos. Is it possible to see ANDY AND PIERS BATTLE ON COURCE....Please👍
Well done guys 👏

What cave are you using for your phone camera?
At 13:09 Interesting how his trail thumb is off the grip until after impact.
Do you do roadshows? To Dorset? Excellent video
Great idea. Maybe at some point Chris.👍🏻

Hey that’s my brother!
Was this one hour lesson or it was more?
Here I am trying to keep weight on my front foot.
Why didn't you guys address that weird right hand grip? Seems like it was making him hold the club in a strange way and restrict his control over the face a bit.
We didn't feel it was as important as the other stuff Lucas.
Fair enough. You guys did great with freeing up his rotation in the backswing 👍
flexibel like a wooden cabinet
I’m g
Now just groove the living day lights out of that swing.
Guys, can't do this to Tony,
By the look on his face, he is hooked to the game forever!!!🤣🤣🤣
Tony did great. What a change too in the lesson. It shows how important the pivot motion is.
Right hand grip looks weak and the club is griped in the palm!
100% the biggest problem with everyday golfers, especially older ones, is that they are super tight through their lower backs and shoulders. Worth forking out to see a osteopath and get the body checked out.
Tony needs to stretch
