It's called a "Spider Belt" made by Tailors. It removes Immobilizing effects and makes you immune to them for 5 seconds. It's on his far right action bar if you look closely. It's on a 30min cooldown.

Poor CD usage/handling of enemy CD’s, max rank frostbolting at wrong times ie; when target not slowed or slow about to fall off. Hard casting when in gouge/blind range, missing cones, randomly blizzarding for no reason at all (max rank at that) and just generally wasting mana. The fact 20+ ppl think the mage wasn’t bad shows how poor the average classic player is
Classic is so much more enjoyable than retail as a new player I feel like I wasted my time on retail lol content is doing the same dungeons everyday it seems
Pve mages that get boosted to 60, yes. Pve mages that are fire spec, yes. Pve mages that level normally from 1-60 (and actually played their class) and for some reason are in frost: gl killing that.
@@paul1548 The classes are much more simple and defined so there there is more mindgames involved with the limited toolset. A single muckup also results in a quick death, because of lack of defensives and that both raises the stakes and makes it more fun for the viewer

Annoying way to play? How you figure? It's all strategy. Trinket swapping. Stun locking. Engineering gadgets. It's awesome. So many people just run in and smash buttons hoping to get the win by out dpsing their opponent. This, my friend, is how it's done.
Is what is required... Notice the mage didn't use much, if any, in comparison. Because they didn't need to. Sometimes skill won't overlap class match up. Not in vanilla... Unless you have your batman belt.

Don't know why or what... but classic videos seem much more fun to watch.
Its the long battle of wits ending with a quick move. On retail there's little downtime between exchanging blows unless you're kiting.
What the other poster said but also things are much cleaner in classic, easier to follow the flow of the fight.
