This is quite possibly the most spacious-feeling 45' narrowboat I've ever seen. Sure it could use a little freshening up here and there (it's over 30 years old, after all) but doesn't look like it'd be that big a chore to pull off. Someone's getting a good deal IMO.
Sweet!!!! Tiny house at its best!!❤❤❤
She looks like an ideal liveaboard for a single person, with just a little freshening up of the decor she'd be good to go. Were I ready to buy now I'd snap her up in a heartbeat.
That engine room is stunning, obviously she's a superbly maintained boat, I think her price is very fair given her extraordinary condition.
Nice starter boat. Thank you Billy for a great walk through but please ! It’s the ‘ Commodore’ be respectful 😇
Nice boat for 40k, thanks for sharing.
I like the layout but I would break out the paint brushes to give the dark bathroom corridor a splash of colour if it was mine.
Yes I was thinking interior design as we being shown around. But nothing major. Looks like a lovely boat for to use as a holiday home for weekends and school holidays 😊
Needs updating for sure .
Great for her size and only £39.950
I just can't warm to this one.
Needs refurb inside for sure ,sorry to be cheeky but true .
It only looks like a good price as it’s in the company of overpriced boats.
It’s 32 …that’s 32 ….years old , and still over a grand a foot! Affordable yes… value for money? … no
@zagcatt
Would agree with you on the price. Deffo’ overpriced given the leisure market is currently under pressure.
This boat is extraordinary, she has obviously been brilliantly maintained, and is in much better condition than an average narrowboat twenty years younger.
It is refreshing to see such a well maintained narrowboat. Judging by what I see here and at other brokers, the average narrowboat is owned by people new to boating who have absolutely no idea how to maintain a boat, treating their narrowboats as floating apartments while neglecting essential boat maintenance chores.
This boat is a rare gem.
Sadly inflation kicked in everywhere so it’s the going rate now. But for many people who enjoy checking out what’s available over the years it’s always a shock to see how expensive everything has become. Looks like a lovely weekend/ holiday boat or starter boat for young couple wanting a livaboard although I don’t know how large water tank is or what type of insulation it has so maybe better as a holiday boat
