Thanks for taking the time to record this. I'm installing my WD kit on my 2021 General XP4 tomorrow, and this is very helpful, especially the part about the built in dash lights, which mine seems to have. This video along with the written instructions gives me a lot more confidence to do this.
Great video…..I will eventually get the same turn signal kit for ‘21 RZR xp1000 so I saved this video. Great instructions….thanks for taking the time to make this video
Thank you so much for the video. It was very helpful for my install and without your video I know it would have been difficult using just the instructions WD provided. I had to adjust for the power connection as I have the new Pulse bus bar so i had to rig up a pulse adaptor by cutting the terminal wires and connection the black cable on the adapter and the red cable to the middle cable (alternate) on the pulse adapter. I put a wire nut on the red cable on the adapter (not needed). If you just connect to the red and black post on the Pulse red and black terminal, the lights will stay on. I also had to reverse the pins on the dash for the turn signals to flash correctly. So black cable to 6 and red cable to 7. It was a pain backing out the pins. I actually broke the cable pulling from the back and then pulled the pins out from the front side and had to re-crimp them. Also, I did call WD Electronics and they have a controller that works with the Pulse bus bar. I guess you should check what you have in your RZR before ordering and if you have Pulse, call them and have them sent the right cable. I have a 2022 RZR Trail Ultimate and apparently this if the first year they used the Pulse system on this RZR. Again, thanks for your help. Great material!
Sure wish I could have the time delay on the sequential turn signal LED’s too. Think it’s possible? I don’t have a machine with fangs, I’m rocking the General XP 4…
If you put you mind to it, you can accomplish anything! But it will require you splice into you timed taillights (If they are timed) for the power source. This will go outside the plug and play scope of WD Electronics.
Hey, sorry about your issues. Try looking at the pins that goes to the wd box make sure one didn't get bent and it is connected right. if that is good you can use a test light on the connectors to the cluster..
Hello, I'm not sure of your local laws. But from a quick search, it looks like off-road street legal is very limited. These machines lack air bags and other components that the state of New York may require. You would have to search your county codes on off-road vehicles.
Will you show how you ran your wires to the back? And also how you ran the front headlight wires and sequentials around the radiator? Just curious because I'm installing mine right now
I didn't record that part of the install, but I ran mine under the trim on the drivers side. I like "the clean look" so make sure to pick the trim that runs front to back. Good luck, you will do fine!
@@-CHaPPy- It should have worked. Did you make sure the pins clicked in place? Most common issues is the left and right are switched, but your getting no lights in the indicator at all right?
Yes I do, now with that said i haven't seen all that it out there... but what was important to me was 100% plug in play, Corbin custom works was not, You had the spice wires for the license plate. Also i like the lever turn signal switch (like in a car) vs the rocker switch.. and lastly the sequential lights with the fang lights is lights is awesome! I have not had any problems so far!
You need to use the factory power wires, It doesn't matter if you had fangs before or not the wires are pre installed so look for them near the fangs. If you used WD power there will be no delay.
Just got mine for the 2020 General XP 4 1000 and mine was black/red pin 6, red pin 7. Otherwise she blinked on the dash backwards. What’s weirder, is they don’t address any of the pin locations in their directions…so I was thankful for this video. Thanks again!
Thanks. Easy to follow you as you do the work.
This is a great help, Well done video!!!!!
Thank you for this video!
Thank you for explaining this properly! While I love the kit on my turbo S , the instructions from WD are vague and I was struggling 😅

Awesome!! It seems overwhelming but once you get going it's not bad, and in the end you will highly enjoy it! You got this!!!

You did a GREAT JOB on this video. By far the best I've seen. Thanks

Hey I saw your vid I Just wanted to know where you can get the hazard light switch but with the cable
Awesome video👍🏼helped me a lot thanks! I’m going to order mine😃👍🏼
Super detailed
Is there any difference in the fangs compared to the stock? Besides the amber lighting
No difference at all. Once it turns back from the amber it becomes like the factory white fang.

Great video! I just installed mine but now my instrument cluster has no power. It’s a 21 turbo S velocity any ideas? Thanks!

Probably blew a fuse trying to pull the pins into place. Just a guess 🤷
Where do I go to find out if I could buy the same machine and make it straight legal I live in New York not the city

Do you think the WD electronics kit is worth the extra cost over other kits? Still working well?

Found one on left but not driver side
@@francisdionne8194 it's there unless polaris forgot to install it... which i doubt... sometimes its tucked away perry good!
I'll have to try find it

It's no Hort
I followed ur directions but somehow when I flip to right the left indicator flashes
If you have an older version of the wd kit (not really that old) you need to flip the pin position opposite to the video.
