This car managed 1 lakh sales figures. And that's incredible being just single product on offer from Nissan. Built to cost and yet scored better safety rating than many other cars out there.
I have got a base model silver xe in 2021 for just over 6 lakh then. And that has always been a good decision, because every time I look at it I feel like I have got a big car considering its price. Absolutely VFM. Plus I got a decent service centre 50 kms away, but I don't mind that distance since its only 2 times a year and I love my car. Definitely a big car for a middle class family.❤
I also liked it but only 2 problems that I saw in this car is 1. It feels like sitting in sedan more than suv 2. The steering wheel rotation is more than others
I purchased the Magnite in Dec 2022 (after having owned a Nissan Micra for 4.5 years).. the Magnite is a VFM proposition ..it excels in safety feature and confidence under hard braking..
Why in 40 degrees heat and dusty environment in India you want sunroof . Only in cold countries you need sun roof For car built, engine safety,is needed .

Recently, I had to make a choice between my Duster 110 bhp and the base version of the Nissan Magnite, which has 72 bhp, for a trip from Kochi to Bangalore. My previous experience with the Duster, though generally positive, included an incident of injector trouble near Krishnagiri. Additionally, its AC tended to weaken after prolonged use, which was a concern given the unusually scorching May sun this year. Ultimately, I opted for the Nissan Magnite, and I couldn't have been happier with my decision. Despite its lower horsepower, the Magnite impressed me with its exceptional AC performance and comfortable highway ride. The power delivery was consistent, and the journey was a delight. I'm truly grateful to Nissan for crafting such a remarkable car. I got a mileage of 19.1 km/l . It truly is an underdog.
Even I was surprised by how at ease the NA engine was at cruising speeds of 80-90kmph. Stiffer suspension made it feel planted and the tyres are wide enough. Steering feedback for sedate driving is excellent, feltlike driving a hydraulic power steering.
I own a Red Magnite XV CVT Turbo since one year now. Really happy with my car's performance. Haven't faced any issues till date. Couple of things could have been better but I am happy with my car.
Wipers are flimsy and not of good quality, Interior plastic quality is inconsistent. As I have the second top model, it does not have led headlamps as the XV premium gets. The throw of the halogens are very very poor, in fact Maruti's Halogens are stronger, so I went ahead changed it to led bulbs. Considering I have spent around 10.5 lakhs on road @@sambhramchangavi1408
Considered the Magnite strongly along with the Citroen Despite driving all the Sub 4 Metre Crossovers I finally and proudly went with the Citroen C3 Turbo and till date I’m very happy. Second place for the Magnite turbo Mt ❤️
I got it in2022 July.. service jas been prompt. And m in love with the car. Gives a feeling of really big car.. and mind you the ground clearance is 205.. which is higher than brezza.. so it might look short, its actually the tallest
Aside from a few niggles, I'm happy with my Magnite turbo, now one and a half year old. Last month saw east to west coast journey and then to the south east in Chennai during which the car performed reliably. People often mistake it for a much more expensive car based on the exteriors. I don't have any qualms with the interiors save for the rattles. NVH is well controlled in the turbo variant and the engine is punchy when revved. Turbo lag and tall gearing takes getting used to. Overall, a great experience so far!
I’m driving the top model since 18 months now & trust me it’s one of the most dependable engine you could ever get at this price… The sports mode is an underrated feature but boy it can give a run for money to any Merc, BMW standing beside you on the signal.. Agree that the parts built inside the vehicle are a bit of cheap quality but that engine will make you forget about it as soon as you hit your 1st 120/130 speed
Indeed, the high speed dynamics are very predictable. Steering is quite stiff at high speeds and I can fully understand and predict what the steering will be like at any speed. The engine gearbox combo (CVT) is extremely good.
Those Mercs and BMW's were just shocked that you were actually trying something in your little Nissan and were just frozen in place by the sheer ridiculousness of your proposal allowing you to "beat" them?
@@mindfreeze0838 yep absolutely shocked knowing a 11.50 lakh on road 3 cylinder engine can generate a 170 NM torque which is same as 55 lakh GLA Merc engine 😳
What an honest review! Thanks! The problem with a below par product is it scars the buyer forever. He is not coming back no matter how good the next product would be.
Excellent review and comparison with the other offerings! I took delivery of my XV Premium Turbo CVT about a month ago and covered 1500km so far. Very good features and comfort. As mentioned, suspension noisy and NVH needs improvement, but since I am coming from an Alto K10, I found it better. I have a service center 10 minutes away and they've been there ever since Nissan entered India. Highly recommended for people that have a good service center available. This is the only proper automatic on road at 13lakhs that has good safety and ground clearance. Its competition, the Brezza is so overpriced, it's not even funny! Nexon has amazing build and a punchy engine but let down by AMT. Sonet and Venue are laughable in safety (I didn't even enter their showrooms when considering the purchase). VW and Skoda offerings are even more expensive and a segment above. XUV300 was fantastic too, but no proper Automatic just like the Nexon. The only other competition was Kiger. It does have better suspension, build and steering feel but didn't offer as many safety features and space packaging was a bit weird. Some ergonomic issues were also present when I test drove it. I decided to go with Magnite because the engine and gearbox offerings are from Nissan and I trust Nissan did a better job tuning the engine-gearbox(CVT) than Kiger. In other countries, Nissan has a good market share. The only reason they aren't able to make it in India is - service center count, spare parts availability and lack of models in their showroom. They should have continued to make the Kicks in India. Discontinuing it was a mistake.
I wouldnt say the Brezza is overpriced, in the Magnite youre paying for the Turbo and the CVT and thats its. Maruti took that price tag and gave you more tech, better NVH and better fuel economy due to the hybrid.
I have bought the XV Premium Turbo CVT and have driven around 5000 kms. Yes, it may not have features like Sunroof, ventilated seats. But what it does have is good packaging. It can seat 3 at the back without any issues and also has lots of knee room. My only gripes are the door lock looks old fashioned, the armrest at the front is neither adjustable nor does it have any space beneath it, the irvm is not auto dimmable. Apart from that, it's a value for money product provided you have service center at a reasonable distance.
Considering we are getting 4 star rated, practical features loaded ( space , ground clearance , 360 camera even quality is lower, led lights, cruise control, decent mileage) under 10 lakhs, I think we adjust some fit and finish and rattling noise 😬
I am the proud owner of a magnite cvt turbo top end model for last one year. No negatives. Good power and performance. No lag even when AC is on. Nice features and an affordable price. Why are u comparing with next level variants of other brands. All other brands are atleast 2 to 4 lakhs costlier than magnite.
Thank you for sharing your experience @pradeepr423! We're comparing with those models because that's who the Magnite is in competition with. So, we're trying to set context as to how it compares to them.
I own the top model, CVT with Turbo and completed 8k kms. Before making my decision, I test drove many cars, and each of them had some drawbacks like high price, safety concerns, or limited space. After careful consideration, I finally chose to purchase this car, specifically the top model, as it offers all the features I desired. Opting for the top model was important to me because certain features cannot be added aftermarket. I must say I am extremely satisfied with my decision. Additionally, the service center is conveniently located near my home, and they provide prompt and responsive service. In terms of fuel efficiency, I am getting around 14-15 kmpl in the city and 20-21 kmpl on the highway. Initially, it took some time to adjust to the CVT transmission, but now my ecocoaching is showing 5 stars, indicating that I am driving efficiently. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase, and the car meets all my expectations and needs.
I was just noting down positives & negatives from all the other videos and finally here I got a balanced opinion. Perfect one, Team!!! Especially, the part you mentioned what we are trading in for low price despite the cost cutting being evident, this helps many people in buying decision.
Always a fan of Nissan , but still it makes me sad ppl have such a wrong perception of brand , anyways went ahead bought one who imo till date holds as one of the best looking and well designed balanced car in segment, hopefully Nissan takes a notch above from this success and launch Juke and Qashqai in India which i would definitely want in future Lastly servicing cost is what amazed me at par at Maruti levels so kudos to Nissan for that
I have been seeing this car lately. Also saw some videos on yt. The car, on the exterior looks good, really good. It looks big for its segment (don't know how they managed to do that). The first time i saw it, i thought of it to be a rival to the Creta/Seltos segment. Honestlyn the car's good. Just a few drawbacks i.e the Interiors and features. Nissan should really consider a facelift for it with new interiors and color theme along with a few additional features. I swear if they manage to pull that off, i would buy it at a blink of an eye..!!
I've been using magnite CVT since March 2021, which I bought paying well over 11lakh (onroad price), trust me its worth the money I spent, it shoots like a race car whenever i get a chance to let go on highways or narrow roads, it has a true race car DNA as it was promoted before launch, and it get past those sorry ass marutis and hyundais like a formula racing like manoeuvreability.. It gets me from point A to point B well before the time predicted by google map... The turbo engine is so smooth to handle and driving in a state like Kerala, where road conditions are well below national average it saves a lot of cursing while on road...😊😊😊
Would be interesting to see a comparison between the Magnite and the Kiger especially differences in ride and handling, NVH levels, ergonomics, etc. The differences in looks are subjective and features can be easily found in the specs. The Magnite and Kiger are not up there at the level of the Sonet & Venue, but another way of looking at it is considering their price point are these a noticeable improvement over the likes of the Ignis, Punch and Exter as far as the engine & gearbox (especially 1L turbo and CVT), suspension setup, cabin comfort, build quality, etc are concerned? Would like to hear your thoughts.
@@motorinc Yes big brother ,just got mine a month ago ,XE AMT variant ,with screen ,speakers ,rear camera ,wheel covers ,skid plate and other all basic stuff at 7.60 lakhs on road, just there is lag in 1 and 2 gears after that is very smooth ,i prefer to drive in manual mode ,build quality is a another positive ,the door thud feels very strong, hardly recommended from my side for those people who drive smoothly and want a big and strong car under less budget .At last thank you motorinc for making great videos .
Thanks for your review Kartik. We are in the market for a compact crossover/SUV with an automatic transmission and we are looking at everything from the Suzuki Ignis to the Kia Sonet. The Magnite looks interesting too and is keenly priced. In terms of build quality would you say it is a step up from the likes of the Ignis, Punch and Exter?
@@ashu1884 We haven't decided on the car yet but I think we will choose one of the following sub 4m crossovers: Magnite with CVT, Citroen C3 (when it hopefully comes with an auto gearbox) and the Skoda one which will come next year. I think these are all a worthwile step up from the likes of the Ignis, Exter, etc.
Karthik you have such a soothing tone, I urge you both to discuss accident scenarios and various important road rules of India in The Connect or some new series . Looks like a good idea to me
I remember taking Magnite's test drive while checking out sub 4m SUVs. The non-turbo engine is criminally underpowered and it takes 3 business days to revv up the engine. Turbo + CVT felt better but the fit, finish, quality, and feel is so, so poor that it made me feel like I am in an inflated 2016 Kwid. Also, Nissan dealers have justified taking 6500 as "Handling Charges" based on some shady paperwork. I tweeted them, emailed them and spoke to customer care too. No response whatsoever. Definitely, a big NO!
Hullo VR! Thanks so much for sharing your experience here. Would be good to know which city you are in too. Will be helpful for others. Thanks for your time!
The problems were with the Magnites which produced in the first year. MAGNITES manufactured after AFTER Nov-Dec 2021 had better quality, better steering feel and a bit more solidly built. I have XV Executive Turbo variant and really Love my car. It has huge space inside, large cargo space (shifted my room in one go), accelerate quick, it is light to drive in the city and has small turning radius that makes you tak U-turn in a 2-lane road. After all it has the best looks, sharp headlights and India's best looking diamond cut alloy wheels. Service Experience - Regular service is good and I'm satisfied. ASC are not looting us in Dehradun, they are really good. I slammed the left doors in a VIKRAM and had to claim insurance for repairs. A bill of 34k got done and dusted in around 2k.
I was interested in getting Magnite but instead brought Renault Kiger as the service network of Nissan was limited and not as good as compared to Renault. Anyway currently satisfied with Kiger now.
Great review, I like the format, its different and gets to the heart of the matter. With this car, I would take the Brezza as its the more complete package and you can see where the extra spend is going in this segment. Sure you dont get leather seats but A) its hot and B) you will probably put seat covers on them anyway because of (A) and to preserve your resale value.
The Brezza scam without smart hybrid ..amazing to see people still going with it 😅.. yeah a better engine and somewhat resale value adds to Brezza , maruti should stop scamming its trustworthy customers man.
@@motorinc because of how the price in the market has jumped up since this car's release and now, brings into sharper focus why the Fronx exists. The price youre paying for it now still puts it in line with the market. What larger car can you get at the top end price of this that matches this spec for spec?
@@ranadeepacharya4178 I wouldnt say its somewhat better resale value and Maruti has a better service network. They probably took out the smart hybrid to keep the manual price where it was, thats my theory anyway.
I've been following Karthikeya reviews from ages, his past associations as well. But association with Motorinc is perfect. Especially the colour theme, light colour costumes and white background perfectly blends with his great articulation. There might be premium cars, premium bikes in market. But this channel reviews are the only premium reviews in market I feel. PS: I am still a great follower of Autocar channel which I feel is a great and no nonsense reviews. But MotorInc is the only channel for the top class Premium unbiased reviews. Period!
Seeing youtube reviews, I had made up my mind to buy xuv300 but when I took the test drive, I didn't like it much. The car's feels was sturdy and really good but the major drawback was the space. I am 5'11" and there wasn't enough knee room in the back seats and head room was overall disappointing. On top of that, boot space was very useless. Then tried out venue, sonet and they were okayish cars and decent space. Then I sat in magnite and ohh boy....the amount of cabin space....head room....knee room...finally I didn't feel suffocated. But, the interiors didn't feel very good and looked very basic. And then I tried Kiger...same amazing space...beautiful feeling interiors....better design....and that freaky turbo engine....I have driven kiger 10k km now and even took to Spiti....it was soo comfortable and impressive at this price.
once again, too much to ask for when you say it misses out on Ventilated Seats and Heads Up Display. No car in the segment offers Ventilated Seats except the Sonet, which only offers it on the top variant and is priced much much higher than this. Heads Up Display is only available on Maruti cars in this segment and it’s just a useless one. Once again, comes only in the top model Brezza, which also is priced much higher than this.
my manager have this car. i have drove it enough to say that this car is one of the easiest to learn driving on. the catch is the fact the features made it not work. the tyre pressure monitoring system. we have asked nissan to fix it a dozen time. it still screams at us when we start it. i love driving this. but it can't stand heavy usage by our company.
Dont let the biases takes away the fact that This car's base model price is almost equals to with wagon r base model which is 2 segment down and has more features in base model than wagon r base model
@@motorinc hey not taking shots at you @motorinc, you did a fine piece on magnite. the biases i am talking about are towards market leaders maruti, hyundai etc. Nissan may be a dying breed in india but magnite lower variants are the best car available at their price. and i dont even have one, i drive ecosport currently.
I have had the Turbo variant for a year. It's definitely very good in a lot of aspects but I agree that the engine noise when starting up/idle is excessive. I have had bystanders comment that perhaps I have been driving it with the handbrake still in use due to its noise. I used to tell them "It's because of the turbo engine". I only now understand it's due to cost cutting. I also faced the noises with braking 8 months after purchase. Felt very unsafe to me, my family and my friends whenever I drove. Got it resolved though. Main problems I have with the car that I hate is: - High-Beam sucks (very badly) and feels like low-beam. - Air conditioning feels very weak, especially when the car's been standing under sun, it may never make you feel like you are sitting with AC turned on. - Don't drive it past 120kmph because it will definitely flip over one side even in a slight turn. I almost flipped it on one side, coming home on the day I took the delivery. My previous vehicle Tata Tiago gave me more confidence than this car. It may be 4 stars, but it can't handle certain situations at all. Everything else about the car is fantastic. I love it. And I think the blacked out interior in this video made it look bad. The beige interior feels much more premium imo.
Drove over 120 quite a few times, felt confident always. Maybe you felt so because that's the first time you drove it? The AC thing is I 100% agree, my dad always keeps playing with it because on a sunny day, it doesn't cool the cabin at all.
I've had high hopes from the Magnite soon as they announced their market rupturing prices! Pros: #Take this anyday over a baleno, nios, i20 and the lot, cos look at it! #Super VFM considering cost considering the packaging (Not expecting headsup display/ventilated seats in this range, no other OEMs offer these either) Concerns: #Nissan's got much appreciated CVTs from the micra, heard complaints about this one being troubled? #Resale value? As far as I've seen, huge dep in 2 years. Even with decent sales figures in the first couple of years. #Nissan's service? As big a brand it may be, India is yet to see them correct themselved on this front, this roots from presales too! I've walked into two showrooms in diff cities - tier 1 and 2, had an underwhelming response at both! I mean i am excited about your product! Are you?
This car would look amazing without the chrome in black. I have test driven this but the normal 72bhp engine feels underwhelming. And yes horrible sales attitude. The downside for me was the interior. I mean you cant justify lamboish aircon vents with an engine like that😂 Amazing review as always ❤
The main reason I stay away from the Magnite is the interiors. They are just not on par. Yeah sure there were cost reasons, and this may be only me, but when I sit inside a car, the quality, fit and finish plays a very key role. It's just a let down.
Not until its got a 1.2L 4x cylinder engine & better fit & finish... Nissan is missing hugely in terms of sales. Magnite sells ~2500 units monthly since last 6 months while venue sells ~8000 units easily....
Hi there, I really enjoyed this video, it is very informative as I am interested in purchasing one of these cars. This video is a year old and I am wondering if you have done any reviews on any newer models? I haven’t gone for any test drives as yet but would appreciate if you were to do another review on the newer models if possible. Thank you! 🙏
Excellent allrounder car. The only issue is hard clutch which makes city driving tough. Material quality is low but its not a deal breaker. Turbo engine is must.
@@motorinc hey thanx! Only 5 days through zoom car. Also its suspension covers most potholes with ease, has decent off roading capabilities too. Heavy clutch is a major issue for me, for which I also stay away from VW cars.
Is 2023 edition better than the 2022 one ? The dealership and service centre are about 4kms away from my place and they are now giving a 1L world cup offer. So, i might be able to pick the XV variant for about 8.2L
If only Nissan can improve their network and service experience, they can sell better.. It's just that they have the market, but unable to grab it like their own sibling, Renault.. What I feel is that they should understand the customers and requirements better like how MS, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Kia, Toyota, MG, ETC are doing.. A clear example for this is that Tata worked on the engine NVH levels post BS6 2.0 Norms, now the experience is much better... Just like that, Nissan should come up with something special for the market ❤
Again a classic review loved all the way... It would be good to have a review and your opinions of the top and popular selling mid size SUV in the market considering that most of us need a car more on practicality to reach office or drive primarily in city. Also in today's world is it worth to buy a mid size SUV or hatchback is also worth the penny.
I have to choose one from either kiger turbo or this. Which should I buy? Ps: plz include which company will have a chance to stay long in India before they go.
Soothing voice with a cool blue theme, blue for the car color, and add to it your logo colour. So what if ventilated seats are down, everything in place to clear the Monday blues!! Cool…😅..
My Magnite after 2 years got seat belt issue which is not entertained by Nissan India neither by Service centre in South Goa, giving warranty expiry reason. Nissan doesn't really seems to be careful and look short-sighted.
Bro I really appreciate that some people are still decent and educated like you. Loved your review. Do me a favour please. I am stuck between 2-3 options like the MAGNITE, AMAZE and SWIFT. Kindly make one video on AMAZE. is Honda Amaze a good car ?? Should I go for that one ?
@@motorinc I'm watching every video and complaining (in my head) about the low publishing cadence.... Hehe! 🙂 Also waiting for the next season of This Connect podcast series... sigh!
Well said I always loved the Kicks turbo petrol automatic - that engine they co-created with Mercedes. But when I had to get an upgrade to an SUV, the service and the dealer for Nissan in my city, had a very bad reputation Since then, there has been a new dealer, and the service quality has also improved significantly with so many Magnites having been sold. A bad miss for me.
Thanks for sharing that Nirmalya! Appreciate it. What did you get instead? And which city are you from - would help others to know - since you said service from Nissan is better there. Thanks!
@motorinc I am staying in Kolkata currently. I got an Ecosport S 1.5 TDCI. I have always been a fan of Ford's handling at highway speeds, and I knew about that engine's spirited performance having driven an Aspire 1.5 TDCI for 5 years. + Ford was giving me 2 lakhs more on the exchange value of my Aspire, compared to other car makers!
Hello motor inc, you guys doing a brilliant job. Pls keep it up. Just wanted to clarify that according to u guys renaukt kiger is the one to go for? I am tempted to book one n offcourse turbo. As far as magnite goes..i 100% agree with u guys
Yes, the Kiger is the less pretty (Kartikeya loves the way the Magnite looks) but nicer and safer purchase option - experience and network. Thanks for chatting here! When are you planning to get it?!
Nissan has announced Rs.5300 crores of investment in India. Please go through the news article and let us know can we now consider magnite without any loss in future? I have been to almost every showroom but can't find any car in terms of look, safety, features like magnite.
Agreed! It has incredible value for money! Yes, they have announced another three products. Anyway, we would say for 5 year purchase you don’t have to worry. After sales has to be guaranteed by the brand in India even if they shut shop.
I agree with you fully it DATSUN with slightly better built & NISSAN Badging. Incase if you want more cabinspace at Hatch pricing & same engine capacity buy it. Except for low pricing there is nothing worthwhile. All basic inclusive of 1980 dandiwala inside door locks. 😜😝🤣😂
yay finally magnite it's still fantastic but they need a facelift because this car is almost two or three years old to keep other rivals such as nexon sonet and brezza and others include 💖😊 and that tiny 1.0 three-cylinder litre turbo it's a such a fun engine
Nope, it just needs kiger like interior... that's it...but nissan won't change the interior because they have same type of design for global models too... It still looks the best from the front... Magnite is always better choice over exter and punch... Better engine, bigger car and features are good too... Insulation inside is not upto the mark but it's not something that would put you off...
@@arjunmohandas8870 like what? Nexon and XUV3OO have AMT which are strict No-No for me while spending upwards of 10L. Brezza is perfect but won't get the AT Zxi/Vxi at that price. Koreans(Sonet/Venue/Exter) provide substandard bodyshell for Indian cars(as proven by GNCAP), so won't even touch them with a bargepole. Only other option left is Kiger CVT which is more or less the same car.
This is by far the most beautiful and thoughtful car by Nissan, in terms of pricing it's unbeatable, power up to the mark (CVT - Turbo) and overall a genuine great deal 🤝❤ Love Nissan and thanks to #MotorInc for such a clear and perspective review ❤
Well, I am looking for a no frills SUV update from my top end cvt Magnite for. Priorities are extra extra space and ride comfort. With updates, C3 aircross still misses on keyless entry, push button and 360 camera compared to magnite. Not interested in coupes, is there a better update than c3 aircross @ 20 lacs budget on road? For reference, I am 6'3", 5 seater aircross will be of choice, if no other to go by
You know I honestly 6:57 feel if there are two channels those have created for themselves a unique identity over others are MotorInc. and V3cars, great presentation guys..
My magnite returns me 14 kmpl in City and 20-21 kmpl on highways...best VFM SUV in Indian market.

I purchased the Magnite in Dec 2022 (after having owned a Nissan Micra for 4.5 years).. the Magnite is a VFM proposition ..it excels in safety feature and confidence under hard braking..
Which Variant?
Magnite rides as good as Brezza, is quicker than Venue & Sonet. Cheaper than all the rivals. Its easily the best choice.
No Heads up display, no sunroof. So basically no gimmicky features at all. An almost perfect car except for lacking a 4 cylinder bigger engine.

Considering I have spent around 10.5 lakhs on road

Considered the Magnite strongly along with the Citroen
Despite driving all the Sub 4 Metre Crossovers
I finally and proudly went with the Citroen C3 Turbo and till date I’m very happy.
Second place for the Magnite turbo Mt ❤️
C3 Turbo is a rocket 🚀 safety is dicey though. :/
We hope you enjoy your car thoroughly!

Thanks for letting us know, Sushrut!
Be careful out there Tejas! Glad you're enjoying the ownership experience though

Awesome! What are the few cons you spotted @MichaelScott69?
I like calm reviews like these. I will sit in a corner if I watch a roaring host who covers all specs in a single, tough twist.
What an honest review! Thanks! The problem with a below par product is it scars the buyer forever. He is not coming back no matter how good the next product would be.
♥️
What a great summary, Vamsi! Thank you!
I wouldnt say the Brezza is overpriced, in the Magnite youre paying for the Turbo and the CVT and thats its. Maruti took that price tag and gave you more tech, better NVH and better fuel economy due to the hybrid.
@@mindfreeze0838 now they removed the hybrid feature..thats why i am looking for magnite and nexon
@@ritinkarsardar they removed it from the manuals
@_hello._.world_ dude, the kicks is too small for a application like that.
The XE variant is VFM when compared to a Baleno Sigma, punch adventure or even an i20 magna.
The comparison with other cars was fantastic. Thank you for such a perfect review.
Glad you enjoyed it.
All valid points.👍
Considering we are getting 4 star rated, practical features loaded ( space , ground clearance , 360 camera even quality is lower, led lights, cruise control, decent mileage) under 10 lakhs, I think we adjust some fit and finish and rattling noise 😬
That's one way to look at it. There'll be a few compromises but if one is ready to live with them then there's no issue.
Awesome! Thanks for letting us know! ♥️
I was just noting down positives & negatives from all the other videos and finally here I got a balanced opinion. Perfect one, Team!!!
Especially, the part you mentioned what we are trading in for low price despite the cost cutting being evident, this helps many people in buying decision.
Glad you enjoyed it! And even more glad we've helped!
Always a fan of Nissan , but still it makes me sad ppl have such a wrong perception of brand , anyways went ahead bought one who imo till date holds as one of the best looking and well designed balanced car in segment, hopefully Nissan takes a notch above from this success and launch Juke and Qashqai in India which i would definitely want in future
Lastly servicing cost is what amazed me at par at Maruti levels so kudos to Nissan for that
Thanks for sharing your experience! Would be great to know more? Which model? City? And how long you have had it. Thanks in advance!
On design part I definitely agree that it looks really good and bold in person and in pictures as well really great design ❤
♥️
I have base model and its great.. i love this car.❤

@@anandsummanwar8941 i am also in same mindset as yours, did you decide any of these?
@@ashu1884 We haven't decided on the car yet but I think we will choose one of the following sub 4m crossovers: Magnite with CVT, Citroen C3 (when it hopefully comes with an auto gearbox) and the Skoda one which will come next year.

What do you think of the Brezza’s price now?
@@mindfreeze0838 yeah that's a point too they had to pay taxes for the import of the hybrid system now they saved it
I've been following Karthikeya reviews from ages, his past associations as well.

That's great to know!
once again, too much to ask for when you say it misses out on Ventilated Seats and Heads Up Display.
Agreed, hence we aren’t holding that against the Magnite. We think it’s good as is.
my manager have this car. i have drove it enough to say that this car is one of the easiest to learn driving on. the catch is the fact the features made it not work. the tyre pressure monitoring system. we have asked nissan to fix it a dozen time. it still screams at us when we start it.
i love driving this. but it can't stand heavy usage by our company.
Thanks for letting us know!
Dont let the biases takes away the fact that This car's base model price is almost equals to with wagon r base model which is 2 segment down and has more features in base model than wagon r base model
Hey! Sorry, which biases were you referring to? Would be good to know. And absolutely - the Magnite is an achievement.
Main problems I have with the car that I hate is:
- High-Beam sucks (very badly) and feels like low-beam.
Well said!
Drove over 120 quite a few times, felt confident always. Maybe you felt so because that's the first time you drove it? The AC thing is I 100% agree, my dad always keeps playing with it because on a sunny day, it doesn't cool the cabin at all.
Great video as always. Super clean and high production value. ♥️

Very fair review... Good to see the honesty 👍
It's been a month, and I'm enjoying the KIGER...
Best looking sub 4 mtr crossover..... Interior quality needs a lot of work though. Hope Nissan make the interior quality better in the facelift.
I've had high hopes from the Magnite soon as they announced their market rupturing prices!
Pros:
#Take this anyday over a baleno, nios, i20 and the lot, cos look at it!
#Super VFM considering cost considering the packaging
(Not expecting headsup display/ventilated seats in this range, no other OEMs offer these either)
Concerns:
#Nissan's got much appreciated CVTs from the micra, heard complaints about this one being troubled?

I mean you cant justify lamboish aircon vents with an engine like that😂

You said Kiger has fewer rattling issues and has a better-tuned suspension. So Kiger will be a more sensible option?
Waiting for your answer on, is new magnite nissan enough?
The main reason I stay away from the Magnite is the interiors. They are just not on par. Yeah sure there were cost reasons, and this may be only me, but when I sit inside a car, the quality, fit and finish plays a very key role. It's just a let down.
Sure! You want a richer experience and the Magnite won’t deliver that. It is a VFM offering and has traded up some aspects for it.

Hey Sarvan! The DCT is a dry-clutch. If you aren’t in a hurry, worth waiting to see more options.
The only "affordable" wet clutch dct in India is in the altroz, but it's a new unproven part
Not until its got a 1.2L 4x cylinder engine & better fit & finish... Nissan is missing hugely in terms of sales. Magnite sells ~2500 units monthly since last 6 months while venue sells ~8000 units easily....

Hey AK! How long have you had it? And which engine?
Good points DMV4!
