I'm sure there are multiple ways to pronounce it - I'm pretty sure I've heard some people say APPlikay... But of course my pronunciation is always the 'correct' way ;)
@@planetjune Of course it is! :) It was the end of the word that was 'new' to me - I would never have thought about 'que' being pronounced other than 'c' ('Applic' like 'plastic' instead of 'Appli-kay') ;)
Ah, gotcha! It's an anglicised French word - technically it's spelt "appliqué" and the accent gives the clue - but people (myself included) often can't be bothered to add the accent!
