Problem is when you have overlapping of all the hairloss triggers. Nightshift work, vitamin D deficiency, genetic alopecia, hashimoto's disease and chronic telogen effluvium lol. I'm not making this up either. The problem is when you start throwing the kitchen sink at it. Dermarolling, thyroid meds, topical finasteride & minoxidil, vitamin D daily. You don't know what's working...
As long as it's working is all that matters. If it's just Telogen Effluvium, once your hair regrows it won't fall back out, even after quitting min and fin. Different story for MPB though. Maybe try taking a couple of months off of using min and fin and see if the hair sheds. If it does it's probably MPB and you should continue Min and Fin. These are just suggestions I've picked up from researching reddit posts from people who've talked to their dermatologists etc.
Go try selenium if you eating foods that have been poisoned to grow faster bigger then it does not harvest selenium because the soil that the animals eats from or the plants, if it’s lacking natural vitamins it does have selenium

Ever since I started using litttllextra cocooniooon shampoo and hair conditioner, there's been a good reduction in hair fall. My hair feels softer and looks shinier. Compared to using other shampoos I faced more hair fall. Moreover, I now use a scalp massager and I think is also helping reducing hair fall.
I recently tried the Cocooonionn Hairfall Control Shampoo. My hair is feeling healthier and there’s no more hair scattered around. This shampoo is sulfate-free but lathers extremely well, and you just need a tiny bit to thoroughly clean your scalp. It smells pleasant while providing a healthy shine. I highly recommend it for people who are looking for hair fall control.
I’m 18 and my hair started to thin significantly after becoming homeless and trying to a find place to stay before I move into an apartment for college. I also lost a ton of weight to the point that I’m underweight now and it is hard for me to eat since I get full really easily. Since I’m on a tight budget with the money I saved beforehand, it’s been hard to afford to have a healthy diet so I’ve been eating cup noodles for the past several weeks. I’m hoping that once I move into college I can start to improve my health and diet again and hopefully my hair as well. This video has been a big help since it will save me money and time in the future, and I can instead use that money to improve my diet and try to manage stress as best I can
Brilliantly informative video, especially around how clinical trial data are manipulated to make it look like the product helps with hair growth! You’re likely saving people a lot of money!
This video is a relief, I just started growing my hair from monthly buzz cuts to a curly look, but then noticed that I have more than a 100 hair fall a per day, it's been a few weeks since it fist happened and I was so scared and paranoid that I couldn't sleep properly just from thinking about it
Been working nights for 2 and a half years straight and been on nights for most of the last 4 years. I also live north of the 37th parallel. Im just now learning the importance of vit D in proper bodily functions and its no surprise low vit D can lead to hair loss, i probably have lost 30-40% of my hair
Why did it take me 2 years to discover this treasure of information, wow ! Thanks a lot Robert this is so helpful, easy to understand, enough to absorb yet complete with so many important incites. This is very very helpful thanks thanks thanks!
Rob, can you please do an episode on female pattern hair loss and the Pill? Lots of women including myself have had androgenic alopecia unmasked by the use of synthetic hormones and would love to get a better understanding of this. Also the shedding that comes with leaving the Pill is very traumatic with many women never recovering from it. Can your scalp massages help? How would you treat that?
I still don't know if I have androgenic hair loss. My hair loss history is not what I've seen others have. I notice hair loss 19/20 from what was likely traction alopecia. My density was high and went to medium to high in 20s. Pregnancy #1 had classic postpartum and saw regrowth. Pregnancy #2 was very hard - anemic and lost a a lot of weight quickly postpartum. My TE was excess and went to 1/4 density with diffuse thinning. Both parents have androgenic alopecia. My hair didn't grow back. Didn't explore further as my hands were full being a mother and just accepted it was my genetics. I'm naturally curly so started a journey to recover my curls in 2019. I was recommended to do head massages and oils by my hair stylist. Definitely transformed my hair and got curls back but also saw some regrowth. I started exercising and watching my diet in early 2021 and by Spring was seeing much more hair. My hair stylist confirmed this in June. Speaking with my doctor recently it looks like Vit D and Ferritin may have contributed. I was diagnosed with low Vit D 7 years after pregnancy #2 and was on a multivitamin to address this. My ferritin though was normal was low - 12. I understand it should be between 30-70 ideally for hair growth. Anyway we tested zinc and it's on low end of normal. So basically addressing these nutrient deficiency right now so let's see if things get better with current regrowth. My doctor believes my lifestyle changes have basically allowed some of my hair to recover - lowering stress being one factor! Hair loss is complex!
Hi, how is your hair now? I read your post and that could have been me. Almost same story, even the 2 kids and the curly hair. At the moment I have the feeling my TE comes back before the lost hair has regrown, which leads to my hair getting less and less. Hope yours doing better.
@@investigatorusrex I'm sorry to hear this 😔 It's definitely a lot better. I looked back at old photos and my front hairline looks better. It's definitely a slow process. Definitely try to figure out what stressor is causing the TE. I've worked on reducing stress, exercising regularly, trying to get a good night's sleep. Working on my diet which includes making sure I'm getting adequate nutrients and also my gut health. I really hope you have some recovery of your hair.
@@swiftandelectrite8319 Thanks for your kind reply! Good to hear you are doing better. Hopefully you are on the right track. I am exercising too, have reduced stress and get enough sleep. I am normal weight and eat very healthy, take no drugs no nothing. My gut is healthy, got everything checked ... but ... my hair is not impressed it seems. It is long but you can see lots of shorter hair sticking out. They do not grow long enough to make my hair look full. I can say I lost 2/3 of my original density. So I am glad I started with lots of hair. But as we say in Germany: Hope dies last.
@@investigatorusrex It sounds like you are doing all the right things. So I ended up getting a pixie cut in Dec 2021 as I didn't like the way my hair was growing. Just various different lengths and seeing more scalp. My stylist recommended this. Best decision. My hair grew back a lot better and curls were so much tighter and thicker looking. I didn't cut my hair for a full 8 months recommended by stylist. We did a trim in August however had a lot of growth including new growth plus I reached the previous length before the pixie cut. However my stylist recommended another pixie to allow the new growth time to grow in. It looks more fuller than the first pixie. It's definitely a big decision to cut length however for me my hairstylist has been so supportive. I never expected my hair to come back.
Wow thank you for this break down. To be honest I thought it was my iron deficiency and then realize a lot of people who came of birth controls like yasmine experience this same thing. Thanks for this video
Hi rob, I was waiting for a video like this. Does treating and reversing the effects of TE also reverse the damage done by the AGA to the hair that was accelerated by the TE? Or would we have to focus more on getting rid of the fibrosis and reducing scalp tension to get back those lost hairs? Also thanks for all the info you’re putting out here, you’re saving lives!
Thank you! Treating TE won’t fix any miniaturization that occurred because of AGA, but it will help normalize the hair cycle so you’re no longer miniaturizing at an accelerated rate. The strategy for miniaturization reversal that is probably most effective is to take a simultaneous approach of (1) targeting DHT and (2) targeting fibrosis. There are lots of ways to do that! Some have better evidence than others.
@@shajjj4552% Ketoconazole shampoo 1-4 times per week allow to sit on scalp 5-10 minutes. Most likely need a doctor prescription for 2% as Nizerol is only 1%.
Great video. Could you recommend some specific hormones to test at the doctor to figure out why my TE has lasted almost a decade and nothing seems to make it better? I’m switching doctors soon, and I’d like some advice on what I should have tested. I know a lot of this started with a major surgery I had 15 years ago, and it’s steadily gotten worse since then. I have lost almost 70% of my hair, and have not had any luck with regrowth. I’m to the point now where I feel like I should just shave my head and call it a day. But, as a 45 year old woman, I really don’t know if I can do that. Hair loss is so hard and personal, and it effects everyone differently. Not sure you’ll see this or respond, but thought I’d give it a shot. Thanks.
hi Rob, can we start to explain finasteride correctly. According to the drug developers, finasteride is not blocking anything but rather competing with testosterone to be used by 5ar enzymes. Look at the shape of finasteride versus the shape of testosterone. Finasteride basically simulates testosterone and finasteride gets used by the 5ar enzyme instead of testosterone. This explains the increase in testosterone from finasteride use.
Sounds like you're talking about competitive inhibition -- which is what everyone says when they say fin inhibits 5-AR. Three types of inhibition - competive(molecule binds to the active site), non competitive (molecule binds to an allosteric to change conformation of enzyme binding site), and partial agonist (weakly binds to binding site but in essence causes inhibition)
Hi Rob, you mentioned in your videos that you used minoxidil for several years and stopped. When you stopped minoxidil, did you experience shedding? If not, what was your regimen to prevent the shedding phase? Thanks
Thanks a lot for the info I used Dermaroller 2 months ago but I used 2.5 millimeter by mistake , in addition of being depressed too at the time and now I am shedding hair like crazy all over my head 😢 do you think I damaged my follicles or do I have a Telogen case ? I am scheduled to see a dermatologist soon
Hi rob, I really enjoyed your informative videos in your channel 👍🏻👍🏻 In my case, I was in stressful period in the past two years as I was a dental student as well as fighting corona virus 😂, so I start noticing hair shedding especially this year, now I’m graduated dental intern since three months and I really more comfortable although I still having hair shedding, so I did lab test around two months ago and I discovered that I have sever vitamin D deficiency so I start taking supplements, once I complete around two months or more I reevaluate the vitamin D levels and it really improved on the other hand I still losing my hair🤔 Do I need more time to evaluate my condition? Like 3-8 months? Before I jump to some crazy thoughts like androgenic alopecia 😂💔
Really interesting video, I always wondered if there is a seasonal factor covered here. When I've had TE it always starts in June and usually lasts 6 months. What I'm really worried about though is I cannot come off the contraceptive pill because everytime i do i get horrendous shedding and go back on it and I've been on it for years. If I could find a way to come off it and go through the fall but have a regine for regrowth i would.
@JB-mz3eo Hello, I'm going through my 2nd bout of TE, and both started in June. 5 years ago (shock after my golden retreiver died suddenly), and this June after a very stressful couple of months in March and April. My hair never regained its original density, not nearly, after the first time. Now, with it happening again with 50% of my original hair, I'm concerned. Did your hair fully grow back after your TE experience?
Really informative video as always, you are THE authority for real. Many years ago I took a lot of cod liver oil tablets and had a lot of shedding in a small space of time. I always felt it was because of excess vitamin a and now that looks more likely. Quick question, if the bulb of the hair that falls out is white, is that a clear indication of TE?
I don’t see a clear problem with the design of the hypothetical experiment on seasonal effluvia. The conclusion that red light protects against seasonal effluvia seems valid. While going to northern countries might represent a niche application, it doesn’t necessarily undermine the experiment’s overall findings.
If i am very stressed out and i lose a lot og hair. Will these hairs grow back? If my temples has started showing more due to stress and telogen effluvium, will these be tempprary and resolve once i am not stressed anymore?
Can you get TE on eyebrows? or does stress cause eyebrow shedding because I suffer from chronic stress and anxiety, they also have white bulbs at the end?
Thanks for the well-presented explanations in this video! I'm just wondering now how much water fluoridation would interfere in the calcium ion channel, causing this problem. As far as I know it also displaces iodine in the thyroid but doesn't show up in tests.
I wish we had clearer data to help answer your question. The short answer is that I don't know, and I don't know of any published studies exploring your question. In my personal opinion, I think it needs to be quite a lot of fluoride - far beyond what most people receive from their water systems.
Intersting case for you id LOVE you to reply. I have TE from accutane, (isotretinoin) but in month 5 (starting month 6 today) and its gotten thinnest on the temples and the crown... so the derm said its now become AGA. No tests done other than looking at my head VS before photos. crown and back is very thin and scalp shows so she said this confirms accutane gave me AGA.. just doesnt make sense, they promised any hair loss wold be TEMP and now i have this for life from a ACNE medication??? I had zero thinning before and my vitamins are ok, accutane was the trigger for sure. I have lost 60% of my hair in past 5 months!! They told me to use minoxidil but im scared, should I wait more months? I also noticed lost eyebrows and eyelashes but they look fine to others. It happened rapidly first 2 months then has been 100-150 hairs a day since, my normal shed wold be like 30 a day - also, my whole life as long as i can remember when id be in school adn see long terminal hair shed. theyd often be different in diameter and maybe 50% of the long hairs i shed are thin and half are thick. The derm I saw didnt understand any of this stuff so hoping you can. As for wash test, out of all my showers and hair fall in 5 months ive only seen 3 short hairs of regrowth that fell out,so very low percent. Is it possible to diagnose TE turned AGA with just looking at the pattern of someones part and not doing a microscopic test or clinic wash test? Whats the definitive way to diagnose?
Since you mentioned minxodl can trigger Telogen effluvium then does it mean using minxodl with healthy hair can prone you from havin an androgenetic alopeica? Because i experience androgenetic alopecia symptoms since i started using minoxidl.
Would it be a good idea to start taking Finasteride DURING Telogen Effluvium to prevent more-than-usual miniaturization? And then after TE is over stop the treatment if the normal rate of hairloss isnt too extreme? These videos are so nice and informative thanks a lot!
Yes! Finasteride can actually reduce telogen effluvium induced during hair transplants. So, it's not necessarily a bad idea - especially if you're at risk of AGA advancing. Having said that, the best course of action for TE is to address the underlying root cause.
Can this happen with using too much rosemary oil? I didn't think that I would have an aggressive hair loss/ shedding with rosemary oil but this happened to me in 2 weeks of using on the top of my scalp
2 months of regular head massage (along with already used dht blockers) caused both me and a friend significantly increased hair loss. Your program promotes regular hair massage and the result was even more hair loss. And anyone claiming "It would've fallen out anyway" is unhelpful and useless when you're looking for a solution, not further problems.
Hi Rob, Four years back I lost a lot of hair within one month from the front scalp due to stress and these hair didnt grow back. Hair shedding only occurred in that month of stress only. Should i consider hair transplant or medication now?
In northern hemispheres you get more sun in July and August than in other months. So the 'shed' shouldn't really occur in those months... especially July. The shed should occur in late December when there is only a few hours of sunlight.
Ahhh bro learn physics and basic things first. He said lack UVb was the reason not sunlight. Which when northern summer occurs earth is at farthest point from the sun which causes the drop of UVb. Too bad that you didnt know that you didnt know...
Hey rob I have a hair loss question and I was wondering if you might have the answer to it. Whenever I take a vitamin d supplement I experience hair loss, I initially thought this was because of the increase in testosterone and dht since being deficient in vitamin d drops test levels.but the second time I tried It was while on finasteride and ru 55841, but despite this I still experienced rapid hair loss. I researched the role of vitamin d and found that it increases the absorption of calcium, so my question is are vitamin d supplements calcifying my scalp?
How long after taking vitamin D do you notice an increase in shedding? And did you get a baseline reading of hormones and vitamin D levels prior to supplementation? Do the hairs that shed have a bulb at the end?
It takes 4 days for me to notice thinning and 13 days for the massive sheds to start. I haven’t done blood tests but whenever I do take these supplements my body hair growth explodes, as well as beard growth
And no I haven’t tried k2 along with vitamin d, I honestly don’t wanna experiment with it because taking vitamin d makes me lose months worth of progress in 20 days alone
@@bobbyknuckles3436 It's hard to know what's going on without more information. First, if you're shedding hairs that have a hair bulb, this means the hair has technically been disconnected from its blood supply for between 2-6 prior to falling out (that's the amount of time it takes a telogen hair to exit the hair shaft after disconnecting). So, if these shedding hairs have a bulge, then shedding within 4 days of supplementation might be due to something else. There are cases where this isn't true, but without more information, it's really hard to make an assessment.
My hair has been thinning for over a year, I went to the GP last month and they said it was TE. Did a blood test and said Low Folate. Didn't mention anything about iron, should I take iron tablets just in case?

Hi rob, my biggest concern was every 2-3 years in month of April-May (summer season) my hair sheds more than 100 strands. I have also GERD, should I be worrying for this? :((
do what you can to get rid of your GERD and cease using GERD medications. mark my words, there's a strong link between the gut/digestions and hair health.
TE affects all hair even if they are shorter than 3cm? Can u explain this? It affects the cycle of the hair. All hair. This means hairs less than 3cm too..? Im very confused by this.

Bro, I have a query. I started weight losing weight restrictive dieting and after few months I started losing hairs too but I couldn't get the reason behind and I kept losing weight and restrictive dieting but now I have only few hairs left on my scalp. Can I regrow hairs in this case ?
That volume of hair loss in that short of a time period sounds like telogen effluvium. Without more information, it's hard for me to comment further. But this video might help: ua-cam.com/video/JMhbMEAQ-JM/v-deo.html
I am 26 years old guy . I faced hair thinning at the age of 21 when i was in college because i faced extreme stress. and 3 months after that hair started to thin out alot . slowly stress reduced and therefore hair started to thick out again but never got back to original thickness. till now i am trying to get back the original thickness. Recently i did vit and mineral test and Vit D levels are 5 times below normal level . Now i am sitting in sun 30 min daily. can i get back my original thickness by this ?
Last year i experienced rapid hair loss About 70% of all hair on the top of my scalp was lost whithin 6 months I am confused as to what the condition is Does androgenic alopecia cause rapid hair shedding like this?
10:20 I just dont get it, in the summer (july and august) people in the nothern hemosphere have more sun exposure (more red and infrared light) so why this seasonal shed should occuring on july and august? I understand october-november but why still in the summer?
It's a great question. Trueb and other researchers have hypothesized that the shedding during summer is a "delayed telogen release" - meaning that the hair cycle actually elongated during previous months, and that once UVB radiation exposure starts to decrease in the slightest, those hairs are all let go of pretty rapidly.
Hey Rob! I've been doing your recommended regimen of scalp massage and to my surprise my hair shedding has significantly reduced, no regrowth as of yet but I believe I achieved stabilization, my scalp gets flaky at the hairline especially from massaging and I noticed my hair has become VERY dry, how do I solve this big lack of sebum in my scalp? are cream baths a good option? thank you.
I thought i had a Telogen Effluvium before (carency in vitD, Iron + stress and a severe low kcal regime during 3month) but my hair doesn't fully recover.. Still have some "hole" in my hairline. But the second test isn't true anymore since several month..
I took creatine for 6 months 5g daily my hair was so strong but 2 months ago it start falling and today i have lot of hair loss in the front of the head on left side only but generally my hair is thinning and falling i think it's something related to dht because of the creatine but i Don't know what's going on with me and during these 6 months i was sleeping 5h only and working out too much and too much stress, for that I'm lost i don't know what do i have . Hello I’ve been recently diagnosed with telogen effluvium by my dermatologist after a scalp biopsy but google says TE usually makes the hair thin and shed a lot throughout the whole scalp but most of my hair loss is my hairline. Can the scalp biopsy misdiagnose? Can TE be different for others and make my hair thin and hairline recede? Will dutasteride or finasteride be useless against TE? Help :/
It can also happen in specific locations like the temples (this is more common in women). I’d have to know more about the specifics of your biopsy before commenting further. Did they note signs of miniaturization? Inflammatory infiltrates in the isthmus or infundibulum? Irregularities in the sebaceous gland? Telogen effluvium can often be treated with time, unless the acute stressor (a nutrient deficiency, hypothyroidism, etc.) is still present.
@@PerfectHairHealth we did multiple blood tests and everything was fine I recently did another blood test but I fasted this time if it would show more accurate results. She didn’t say anything about miniaturization nor did the biopsy. I did notice that all of the hair that shedded has a white yellowish bulb at the end of it. People say that’s a sign of TE. But I’ve noticed hair that wasn’t the same length shed too so maybe a sign of AGA? Maybe I could have both TE and AGA. I recently started taking dutasteride and oral minoxidil to help but after my TE diagnosis I’m not sure if that’ll help it or worsen it at this point. Also they did the biopsy on the top back of my scalp could it be different if they did another on my temple hairline area?
@@PerfectHairHealth also my hair has noticeably gotten greasier between watches probably from excessively touching my hair and looking at the damage of my hairline I’m adding ketoconazole 2% shampoo to see if that helps with anything alongside dutasteride and oral minoxidil. When I look at my hairline with a magnifying mirror I notice mostly at my temples there’s no miniaturized hair just emptiness but on the rest of my hairline there is miniaturized hair kind of like peach fuzz but even smaller
@@robinnguyen5428 There are a few possibilities. For starters, the first stage of AGA is actually a telogen effluvium shed where miniaturization is not yet present but the number of hairs per hair follicle cluster decrease from 2-5 to 0-3. This is what makes telogen effluvium more common than AGA - because the beginning stage of AGA actually qualifies as telogen effluvium. Doing those lab tests are great, but it's always possible the underlying factor could be missed. If you can associate the shed with some sort of stressful event 1-4 months prior, that's usually another indication of telogen effluvium. Oral minoxidil will help induce a new anagen cycle, and oral dutasteride will help prevent any miniaturization from hair cycling when the hairs return. Provided you're feeling good, these are possibly great options.
@@PerfectHairHealth okay cool I know both drugs cause hair shedding so new hairs will grow it’s just an alarming amount and but some reason only half my hairline has receded the other half is completely still intact. And also I Micro-needled my hairline for two weeks with a dermapen and a lot of hair has shed probably due to a inflammatory response or I did it too harshly. Do you think adding ketoconazole shampoo or Microneedling or both will help too or should I just stick to dutast and oral min
Hi Rob! In May 2021 my mother pointed out that I had visible hairloss on the crown of my head. After checking things out, not only was there a thinning spot on my crown, but it also appeared that the density of my hair all over the top of my head was dramatically thinner (what felt like) overnight. This was very strange and confusing as my whole life (I’m 26) I’ve gotten compliments on the quality and density of my hair. Even as I looked back at photos of me in March of 2021 my hair quality was decent and I couldn’t find my thinning crown (although its sometimes hard to spot). TE slowly started to make sense as I went through severe psychological stress from Aug 2020 - Jan 2021 AND there are no balding men in my family (both my dad and moms dad have bangin heads of hair). Throughout my room/house I've found some thinner/shorter hairs but honestly I have no idea because its so hard to tell. I went to a dermatologist who told me she wasn’t sure if it was TE or AGA (which didn’t really help a whole lot). My heads been a mess for the past 6 months (I’ve seen little to no regrowth) and I’m considering getting on finasteride to treat AGA. My only issue is if I take Finasteride to treat my AGA and its TE, the problem will be solved and I will stay on Fin not knowing I don’t need to be. BUT if its AGA and I think its TE, I will be losing ground on my hairloss. Overall I can’t tell if I have AGA and im in denial or if this is TE. It’s all so confusing. The hair cycle takes 3-8 months to recalibrate but how long until I should see visible results and assume that this is TE and not AGA? Do I need to be more patient or would you recommend someone in this situation hop on Fin? SIDE NOTE: I have been scouring the internet/UA-cam for the past 6 months and your hairloss videos are easily the highest quality content. I hope you seriously understand the positive impact you’re having on people in wildly desperate times. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR WORK!!!!
Hi man, How is it going? Can you give us an update about how things went? did you notice an regrowth? Did your psychological stresses hopefully decrease and how did that go? Is there any regrowth?
@@m.bition3769 Hey man! Still a little bit all over the place but around this time I started following Robs scalp massage protocol (app 20mins of massaging a day) and I just recently have started to notice a change in density! The first 3 weeks after scalp massaging I could feel the strands thickening (even though I was shedding a ton during the massages which was very scary) but I've stuck with it and now app 7/8 months in I'm starting to notice a difference! Along with this I also use a derma stamp once a week. Something interesting I've learned (if you're in my same situation) is that somettimes even if you're experiencing TE, you can be prescribed Fin. to help expedite the process of regrowth. So maybe considering hopping on for a year or two and then getting back off to really be able to tell if its AGA or TE. Also keep in mind I'm just some jackass in the UA-cam comments so take whatever I say with a grain of salt
In a similar boat, but at like 4/5 month mark since it started. The longest I’ve heard it should last for te is 12 months. So I’m assuming you would know by now if it was just te or male pattern or both. Can you provide an update? Like is your hair still falling out or did it stop after the pills? Etc. it’s driving me crazy also lol
@@SpaceOutlaw_ Bro all I can say is hairloss is an absolutely insane journey. I haven't started on fin and have kinda fallen off the massages. Trying to track your hairloss progress to see if its getting better or worse is just insanely hard, tedious, and mentally/emotionally exhausting. My two recommendations after being a year and a half into my hairloss journey is: 1.) Hop on finasteride. From my research it really seems like the side effects are massively overstated. I mean EVERY medication has side effects, and for this medication, there's so many people who take it and report nothing but hair growth. If you're really scared about potential sides, look into changing up to dosage (but obviously do your own research). Not to mention, the long term convenience of just popping a pill every morning, sounds unmatched in realistic everyday practicality. You want a solution you can stick with for 5/10/15 years. Massaging my scalp for 10-20 mins a day got old and unrealistic after 10 months. The following is me getting a bit conspiratorial but here we go: I feel like there's a decent possibility that a lot of the people who are screaming from the rooftops that "fiNaStEriDe mAdE mY diCk fALL oFF" are potentially people who do not want to see the 4 Billion dollar hairloss industry crumble due to an insanely cheap and convenient drug. But once again that's just me theorizing, I could totally be wrong. 2.) TRULY understand the message behind TheBaldCafe UA-cam channel. I know its absolutely not what you want to hear, especially cus its not what I want to hear, but understand on a very deep level that you are not your hair. Any social currency you own (or are afraid you will lose) from having hair is secretly fucking worthless. If I could sum up what I've learned from TheBaldCafe into one statement it would be this: GOING bald absolutely fucking sucks. BEING bald, is totally chill and doesn't really matter in the big picture. I'm not saying go out and shave your head right away (as I still haven't), but just get used to this idea that if you lose all your hair tomorrow, its really not gonna be as catastrophic as you think it will be. If you feel REALLY caught up in your hair identity (or any identity for that matter) check out some Ram Dass lectures. His lectures put so much of life into perspective and really provides me with a lot of comfort. Best of luck!

This video is a relief, I just started growing my hair from monthly buzz cuts to a curly look, but then noticed that I have more than a 100 hair fall a per day, it's been a few weeks since it fist happened and I was so scared and paranoid that I couldn't sleep properly just from thinking about it
I wish this had been the first video I came across over years of research.
Thank you very much, so informative!

I am not sure if Rob has done a video on female pattern hair loss . I agree that will be really useful. He has many female clients I presume.
So I thought my hair loss was from a pregnancy, but I had been on the pill for almost 10yrs straight before the pregnancy. Can it be related.
Thank you Rob for shedding light about this. I’m so clueless about this condition and now I have more understanding about it.

Thank you so much for sharing Rob! Very clear
@@PerfectHairHealth what's the best way to reduce fibrosis

Thanks.
I think your loss relates to sun. And I think it’s that simple.

hi Rob, can we start to explain finasteride correctly.
Thanks
Thanks a lot for the info
I used Dermaroller 2 months ago but I used 2.5 millimeter by mistake , in addition of being depressed too at the time and now I am shedding hair like crazy all over my head 😢 do you think I damaged my follicles or do I have a Telogen case ?
I am scheduled to see a dermatologist soon
what did the derma say
Hi rob, I really enjoyed your informative videos in your channel 👍🏻👍🏻
In my case, I was in stressful period in the past two years as I was a dental student as well as fighting corona virus 😂, so I start noticing hair shedding especially this year, now I’m graduated dental intern since three months and I really more comfortable although I still having hair shedding, so I did lab test around two months ago and I discovered that I have sever vitamin D deficiency so I start taking supplements, once I complete around two months or more I reevaluate the vitamin D levels and it really improved on the other hand I still losing my hair🤔
Do I need more time to evaluate my condition?
What is your hair loss regimen?
Can you get TE on eyebrows? or does stress cause eyebrow shedding because I suffer from chronic stress and anxiety, they also have white bulbs at the end?
So please tell me what to do
Just chill bro, it's normal. Either you should go hair transplant
Whats the definitive way to diagnose?
i feel like my story is similar to yours. nothing i'm told makes sense. how is your hair now?
Since you mentioned minxodl can trigger Telogen effluvium then does it mean using minxodl with healthy hair can prone you from havin an androgenetic alopeica? Because i experience androgenetic alopecia symptoms since i started using minoxidl.
How is it now?
It promotes massaging in some contexts, but not all. It really depends on someone’s needs and preferences. Have you tried finasteride?

You are brilliant 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
And no bulbs btw

I did way too much, just to find out it fixed itself when i stopped on the medication. Also, i was on max dosage. I remember i shaked my head and it fell like 20-30+ strays of hair. EVERYTIME i shaked it.
It didnt stop just out of the blue, but i noticed that i lost slightly less hair first. Then less and less. Stay positive, and good luck!
@@vinsoid8485 hey how is your hair now?
thankyou:)
Hi rob,
I haven't been able to understand subscription model yet. The amount 147 is for just 6 months and then make payment again for the next 6 months?
Do I need to pay 147/ every six month till I get the results? Please help me understand what's the recurring amount concept too?
can a covid vaccine cause hair loss

I have iron defeciency, can it be the cause of my hairloss ?

Yesss, biggest culprit it is
I feel like half the days I look at my hair, I look and feel improvements, while others days I feel like its getting worse. Trying to track your hairloss progress to see if its getting better or worse is just insanely hard, tedious, and mentally/emotionally exhausting. My two recommendations after being a year and a half into my hairloss journey is:
1.) Hop on finasteride.
If I could sum up what I've learned from TheBaldCafe into one statement it would be this:
GOING bald absolutely fucking sucks.
