The 2020 Toyota Hiace Super Grandia Elite is the top dog full sized van in Toyota's line up. It's bigger than the Toyota Alphard, but features almost the same luxury amenities and niceties inside. In this Filipino car review, I show you the quirks and features of the SG Elite, and I also go on a test drive of the large van inside the complex of Toyota Valenzuela. The 2021 Toyota Hiace Super Grandia Elite is perfect for families who need the space during those out of town family road trips. The 4 captain's seats in the passenger cabin will give stellar comfort to all those lucky enough to occupy it. The Toyota Super Grandia elite came from Japan, so you can be assured of its Japanese reliability and quality. This may not be as luxurious as the Toyota Alphard or the Lexus LM van, but it is a great bang for buck van for those who don;t want to compromise on comfort and space, and also want the frugal diesel engine. I like your review and you just got a new subscriber ... Now for a car worth $61,100 .. i think it's high time for Toyota to up their game... one thing personally i didn't like about the car is the shape.. if they are going to compete with other companies i think it's high time they consider
1.The shape of their cars.. Image is everything.. image attracts money.
2. The boot space .. if you create a high end van like this make sure there's luggage space very important and that's the first thing most people check in a car. The door to has to be automatic not a manual one.
3. The interior .. Toyota by now should move from these plastic interiors and create something fancy and something worth that cost.. leather interior with fine stitching. if you ask me i didn't see the point of having the 4th raw on this van. the 3rd raw should have had the same seats as the second raw then the space for the luggage at the back. The front seats as well. they need to look as comfortable and cool as the the 2nd raw if not but something close to that and comfortable.
4. Accessories for a 61,100 dollar car i expect better accessories on that car.. good radio system equipped with modern technology but not the same stereos they have been using for decades not cool. The Gear why do they have there gears on that position in most vans i have seen.. Toyota needs to take notes from other companies. i prefer my gear in the middle next to the arm rest has to be cool.
5. wheels .. I think they can do better with the wheels.. some nice chromes and maybe 20inch for that size of that van.
Otherwise i like the 2nd raw seats, the engine is something that one can work with.. The price though needs to looked at.
Actually those wood trim in driver area and front passenger are abs plastic dipped to wood pattern in the process of Hydrographics sir

Plot twist: The manong driver and the yaya are actually the father and mother seated in front while their 4 kids and two yayas seated at the back 😁. Anyways, good review tho! 🙂👍

Dude, I bought this for my senior mother. Im no family driver or Boy friday by all means. Try using Kako's term, "Business center" instead for "Manong's place"

That steering wheel is really heavy. It's almost like driving an suv from the 90s. When you get to speeds of 120, 130, and up, on provincial roads, you'd really feel it's weight.

I didn't like like the driver seat and and passenger seat beside the driver to ba called manong driver and Yaya seat. That's my favorite seat with my wife.
You're part of the minority that personally drives this.
A luxury Van with no blind spot monitor. Manual tailgate which is so heavy to pull and push. The infotainment is outdated and very small like 7 inch monitor. No 360 view camera. This is the luxury Van that you want to pay with luxury price but less features and less tech.

susunood more focus on the parts of the car rather than on you. You may explain while actual videoing it. Unfortunately, more on the talk (e di sana binasana na lang namin spec from the website). Di nga nakita yung 3rd and 4th row if there's ample space to move your feet and knees, it will only rely on what you have said that "they will be squeeze there like sardines". I suggest, try to watch on others how they make a review on the cars especially the motor home (well-detailed). They are videoing the part and explaining but not focusing the video on the presenter way too much. They let the actual video speak louder rather than the words of the presenter. Di naman siguro yung presenter yung binibenta kung di yung kotse pero bakit sa video na ito more focus on presenter and his words? Di tuloy nakita mabuti interior ng kotse sayang.
Im sorry, but I don't sell cars, I review them. Hence the focus on my opinion of the car. Passenger space depends on the size of the passenger, so it is relative.

I'm thinking what to buy coz i really want the looks of the Toyota Alphard the front grill is really really attracting and luxurious from the outside and the inside, but toyota grandia elite has more seater and the interior is really really good, but I don't like the exterior much and the front shape of it, it looks like a fat whale.
But it's not useful. High price.

Another piece of rubbish like every other Toyota. Had my share with Toyota. It was the worse and most unreliable vehicle I eve owned. Toyota excels at one thing selling nothing for a price of the real thing.
