@@Mortalis89 Aaron Lewis of Staind did my favorite cover versions of Linkin parks "Crawling" as tributes to Chester when he passed. You should check them out If you haven't already. They are very deep and you can really hear and feel just how much Aaron was hurting in the performances.

Watching this in 2021, and I won’t lie, I still cry watching any LP video, including the Chester tributes other musicians made. I don’t ever feel some emotional “connection” to celebrities or musicians, but for a few reasons Chester’s passing seriously hit like a ton of bricks.

It both breaks my heart and makes me repect MGK more that he went up on that stage and sang for Chester and was fighting back tears. I don't care who you are, if you dont even like MGK this man has guts and emotion that he poors ing his music and even tho this isnt one of his songs it shows.

Heck yeah. A: I will be the first to admit, I did not realize he could sing this well and B: I’m loving all of these tributes.
I never realized how much Chester and Lp’s music had an impact on my life as a young teen and now as “Heavy” has blown up. I sang his lyrics as a 14 year old (that’s how old I was when Hybrid Theory was released) like any other song and it’s only now I have come to terms with his music, their music. That poor man was in such turmoil. I just hope he has found the silent peacefulness he was longing for here in this life. 🤔😢😕
All singers looked up to linkin park, and chester. Notice how many grammys Linkin Park has, and chester has alone under his belt.
I knew he was talented but to go out of his genre and do this for music....that's respect.
I love that he made it his own and didnt try to be chester like a lot of the other tributes. A real tribute to a fallen artist is letting their version be theirs and making their song ur own a little while keeping respect for the original.

Reading the comments on this make me soooo happy. I've been listening to MGK since 2011 and he was slept on for waaay too long by so many people. He's a real musician with the heart and spirit of a warrior. He's been through some real heavy stuff himself. His words are so powerful. His bond with Chester was/is so strong. Amazing tribute to an amazing musician, by another amazing musician. ❤❤❤❤

I can say I took Linkin Park (R.I.P Chester Bennington) so close to my age, did what I tried and failed, I lost young son, tragic & unforgetting. Til death do me. I wanted to lose me, have eternal home with deceased, but I cannot be, that's selfish to those that are left w/unknown everything that I'd had felt after living through that hell. It hurts , coming or going , PAIN & Heart Ache, R.I.P to any & everyone that has had happen to in your life

Michael Gray he is a rapper but also an accomplished musician... if you look thru most of his live performance he has a complete band, dj, vocalists.
He idolized Kurt Cobain and Nirvana while growing up.
His band is his friends who is with him on all tours and he also mentions "We are MGK" :)

i knew that mgk had some roots in metal music, he featured a7x in his songs afteralll, but its been 3 years and i just know found this, Kelly really touched my soul, dude can actually sing and was good enough to not try and imitate chester, he made his own version while crying and still managed to make it sound awesome.
i was rude to him only for Emimen but now MGK Is Also my fav 🙏🙏 respect

He covered the song without trying to sound like Chester. He sang it his way and that's what you are supposed to do when covering a song. It came across pretty respectful and emotional.
