I am not a professional, but isn't the 7mm difference in the brackets so that any air in the system collects near the valve at the tip corner of the radiator and can be let during yearly maintenance?

This was my first thought - 7mm really isnt much to the eye and surely helps bleeding

Is there a specific reason for using copper risers to the Rads ? or is it more about looks ? Cheers

Hi, there is no reason not to use copper to the rads. You are correct, it is all about the look, so you can use whatever you like.
