It’s a strange phenomenon I don’t even like country, to me Colin has a magical ability to pull you in,his authentic tone is incredible, a tone that he showed in his audition and a few songs after, but not present in the alanis or Real Gone song but he did a good job pushing him to perform. The song that blew me away was “It’s been awhile”, “ dancing on my own” was brilliant. The duet was perfect. Went back and realized his audition was brilliant, and just enjoyed every song, “ cold” was the only song with obvious pitch issues, big time nerves early on in the competition, he should do it again, great song. The arrangements in general could be better, more dynamics, and he has made a lot of safe choices, maybe nerves?, but he just gets better, continues to show more sides to him. I’m a trained singer, a natural singer first, usually prefer natural, raw emotional singers even if shy, to technically proficient. Overall I prefer Colin to the remaining two even though they are good.
Sometimes inconsistency and imperfection is preferred. I am so tired of the vocally perfect divas that their parents have forked out all the money, singing the random hit song. He has worked hard to get where he is, and he will go far with his singing and song writing. Time will tell who is successful in the end.
He chose nobody knows because he lost a woman that had supported him his whole life right before leaving for Hollywood . She died in her sleep and this was in memory of Shelly and her husband and son was in the audience during this performance so it was very emotional for Colin and Shelly’s family ❤
Around 2:00, I heard you say, "Breathe, Dude." and I couldn't stop laughing. Thanks for that and the "Incredibles" comment on Katy Perry. You're a tough critic! 😅
I don't know if his singing is perfect, I just know I want his songs wafting through my home...he has the magic. Raw, natural instincts. So many of the perfect singers, year after year don't win.
Apparently the second song was very emotional for him because a relative who was very dear to him just passed. But I'm also disappointed he's top 3. It's the cute white country boy factor. I hope you'll review Iam and Megan's last performances.

A good country song and thick eyelashes always go well together!
😂😂😂
His eyelashes was the first thingI noticed!🫶🏼
He should audition again & win it next time.👏🏼🎶

American Idol is looking for the American Idol. It’s a total package, not just the voice.
So they don’t have to have a great voice to win.

Did not know that

Colin was the best. He should of won

Star material!
He has never had any training !! He taught himself to play the guitar when he was turning 5 learning from watching UA-cam
It's "Colin"!
I completely agree on everything you’ve said … and I definitely agree with your comments regarding Katy … she wears me out with her antics.
Can't understand how Warren Peay went home over him. Sorry!
American Idol has a boring finale. The best singers left the competition.

Its the way he connects and delivers.. I felt his at his first audition. I could listen to him all day
He's better off not winning... and he's already taken off with a bang! I thought Megan DANIELLe is a Christian music singer not country.
Warren peay can out sing him by 100.
I would never buy a ticket to his concert.😂
Donʻt like Colinʻs singing. He isnʻt consistent.
I’m glad you heard that pitch was off most of the song. He’s very nice but not star quality
He’s not that great. We Ani 1000 times more talent.
Nutsa and We Ani were the best singers. The show has lost its best diamonds.
@@anakacharava4159 For me it was Kaeyra and Oliver
@@oksanaml9279 Kaeyra also sings well. I don't remember who Oliver is.😀🫠
@@oksanaml9279 The country boys are all the same in this project.
