Country not my jam also. But, this guy has a great voice and charm. His voice reminds me of Chris Cornell, from Audioslave, and Soundgarden. Colin can do any genre with his voice. He should have won, in my opinion

The kind of voice that can touch your heart. He is awesome, seems so humble too.
I wasn't a believer until he did this song, and now I see him in the top three--maybe even winning it. Like Noah, he's coming from behind, showing more and more of the really big power he's got inside him. He's not just a country boy; he's going to be really big.

That performance gave me chills, and was his best so far, IMO!. I rewound my dvr and watched it three times, and it felt like I was watching an awards show performance! I have said that with some of his others about being his best thus far, but he just outdid himself on this one! To take that song from a completely different genre with such emotion as if it were his own was just outstanding to watch! It just shows how unbelievably talented he is. I think, and hope, he has a long career regardless of what happens on Idol. He can win this thing! Those eyes with those long eyelashes, too! Lol I think the girls will go crazy over him. He’s also extremely humble, which is more endearing! He’s a star, for sure!
