The 225 is the largest aircraft ever made that has actually entered service. It's sister ship is still awaiting restoration, although I believe there are plans to do so since the first has been such a huge success commercially.
It is the aircraft originally built to carry the Soviet space shuttle and needed extensive restoration after the abandonment of the project with the collapse of the Soviet Union, hence the hard-points on the roof (faired in on this video, and always when they are not in use).
So you haven't seen a bigger one, as there is no bigger one, and this is the only flying example.
It does have a "little" brother, the 124 (from which it was developed).

I have flown GA in and out of Oakland a bunch of times with a family friend who used to take me to and from where I went to university in Oregon near his second house - he'd always offer a ride up or down as he loved having someone to shoot the shit with. once in a while he'd let me talk to oakland tower, and taught me a bunch of aviation comms, and the ATC in OAK was always so chill and easy to work with - super professional too.

You can have machines that are nice and streamlined like a jet and enjoy it just the same as a Union Pacific Big Boy with all its gears and pipes and stuff on the outside. To me watching this plane land and take-off is the same as watching a steam engine go by or a big aircraft carrier.

I pointed it up to see how close I could get to the planes above.
When reviewing the photo, I realised it had 6 engines and what appeared to be 2 tails.
I didn't know anything about planes so I started looking it up, and to my surprise the only plane that came close to the silhouette that I photgraphed.

I paid to tour the 225 back in the early 1990's when it flew into KBDL for a few days while it was on a publicity tour. They bussed everyone in from the parking lot and when we got to the aircraft it had not yet been opened. everyone got off the bus and they were just starting to open the nose and there a noticeable sound of a pop. A hydraulic leak had occurred in the nose lifting mechanism. I have pictures of red hydraulic fluid sprayed all over the concrete. More than anything else - the landing gear was what impressed me the most.

Carter Johnson wind turbine blades or other smaller planes.

From the ages of 9-14 I dream of piloting the an 225 one day. Sadly it was only just a dream. Still wish to this day that I could so something career wise with such an amazing aircraft.

That exactly same plane landed a few days ago at Henri Coandă airport (LROP from Romania) to bring medical devices and protective masks.

I've seen the 225 a few times here at LAS ... Never fails to amaze! However, I don't think our ATC folks would be as accommodating as the guys in OAK!!

I think it’s wonderful all of the aircrafts that wanted a look at the Antonov were so easily accommodated in the air space.😎

I live in the southeast of Ireland a few weeks ago I could hear really loud jet engines flying overhead which sounds pretty normal but my nearest airport is 400km (250ish miles) away so we tend to very rarely hear commercial aircraft especially that loud so I checked my flight tracker app and sure enough it was an AN225 flying at cruising altitude at 35’000 feet directly overhead on its way from Las Vegas to eastern Russia after stopping in fuel in our little Shannon airport in the Irish midlands had I have known I’d have drove the 5 hour journey in a heartbeat just to catch a glimpse of her what a magnificent feat of engineering
