Looks easy in the video but I have just done one on the hot side and it is far from easy. The handle was very hard to get off and I had to use a rubber mallet to click it back. Because the old cartridge had been leaking there was a lot of corrosion/limescale and the red plastic insert stuck in the handle, I had to drill it out. Good job I ordered a new one. The cartridge itselt came out reasonably well but you need to grip the tap body firmly else it will put a strain on the sink mounting and pipes. Good video though.
what about when removing the cartridge it wont come out !! removing the stuck in brass manufacturers inside / o ring parts - as made of brass usually stuck - EASY TAP SPLITTER as such no good as mono and similar to this video - no access under bath and brass nut just crushes or flakes off and gets damaged further. Any product recommends i will gladly buy if reasonable as 2 such problems right now !
Just watched your video- great. However mine is same model but old & has a grey button on front, could this be something to do with a water filter facility? Thx Paul
Hi I would recommend to use some heat (hot water) on them which will help loosen them. We do sell new adaptors if you do break them when removing them.
Hi, is it stuck inside the handle? Or on the cartridge? You could try using some hot water to loosen as there may be some corrosion. Please feel free to phone us and speak with our technician who can discuss further with you.

I can't unscrew the inner fitting and I even sprayed it with wd40 and it still wouldn't budge!

Thanks mate!
If a damixa single handle mixer tap is dripping is it the cartridge that needs to be replaced or the washers?

I can't unscrew the inner fitting it seems jammed and I even sprayed it with wd40 and it still wouldn't budge!
When I remove the handles the red & blue adapters remain on the cartridge and I’m struggling to remove them without breaking them.

@@tapmagician thank you, I’ll give that a try.

I can't remove red plastic insert, it adheres as glued. How can I do it?
