I grew up in the Berkshires but have been gone for over 20 years. This film makes me so home sick. I will be visiting in the spring. Great job and still a great place to live , I see!
Elaine Grandbois I grew up in North Adams. Now live in Illinois. Would love to move back home. It’s flat here as far as you can see. When I was a kid back home I made headlines when I got stuck up on a cliff in the middle of town and the fire department had to get me down by rope. Went to school at McCann Tech.

Went to Pittsfield annually to visit friends when I was young with my parents. I was so impressed with the beauty, even at 10 years of age ! I am Canadian & live in Toronto. I will make one more trip there (I am a senior now). The Bershires were surely ... ' Made by God ' !
This is where I grew up and live now, at 70 years. My favorite time here is June until the of September. I've moved away a few times, but always return here. Almost Christmas, and temps that will be in the single digits I can do without coming in a few days.

I like Massachusetts, it is the state where i spent most time being in the USA. The nature is pretty much like in my homecounrty (Russia), much more strong rains though. When i travelled across state I fell in love with mountain rivers and hills roads (it was when we were driving to North Adams, MA)
