My 2 cents (a bit biased as I’ve been invited to do sound design for some of the factory presets). LIVEN Texture Lab is perfect for those looking for a sound generator away from the subtractive and FM standards. It plays to its strengths with pads, experimental sounds and as an external creative effects processor. In doing so it is able to set completely new sonic notes in the hardware park.if you’re familiar with the sonicware workflow you’ll get the workflow quickly.
@@taosophymusic LoFi 12 is fantastic, honestly, once you get used to the overlays you'll find yourself operating their functions without them. With the right set up for creating and sourcing samples the LoFi 12 is a great addition to ANY production. Texture lab does sound fantastic but I think it may be limited to mostly Ambient music. Saying that, it all depends on the user 😁
@@RANDOMLOOPGENERATORthat's more of a comment on Granular synthesis than the device itself, but it does seem to be what most folks generate from Granular synths. I could see more abrasive applications...
For ages it's been the 1010 music one and the tasty chips have been the only dedicated hardware granular synths widely available but now there is some great choices
What is that voice cone with ut at the end? I been wondering either the volca FM or behringer CAT but now this sounds pretty bad ass something i m looking for and later around Christmas the dread box Typhon
Hello! Thank you for this beautiful demo! I like it so much! What do you say about Liven Ambient Ø compare to Texture Lab? I’m hesitating between two. I want to use it for ambient experimental that will go with my ambient guitar setup
What else do you think compares to this since the 90's hardware-wise? I think this is better than the original Wavestation-...Endless expandability with the audio-in.
Cozy Drone is my fave. Would like to hear some stuff with the live input utilised in a live setup, could be interesting. BTW I don't know if you've seen already but there was a new firmware update for the MEGAfm released the other day, has a few interesting new features.
Thanks! Yes, I’ve already installed it and did some presets. Also, given the new cool envelope loop function I’ve decided to do another sound pack for the MEGAfm later this year
@@RicketyBread oh - I thought it would be officially available already. Maybe TE still needs to tweak it a bit? The version I'm using is a beta but it runs stable

Hi, I've never owned a Sonicware product but I decided this set is very interesting, so I bought. But now I have some doubts.... 1) Is there and where is the USB connection? 2) Can I connect the tool to pc and use an editor to create, manage, move, save, backup patches? 3) Can I quickly import many samples into the product memory? 4) is the adapter included?
Interesting - looks like fun. Initial thoughts: Please, turn off the reverb! It’s hard to hear any uniqueness demoed here. Also: 'Shimmer' reverb - it’s pretty much done to death. Third: With a SD card for long samples it would’ve punched way above it’s weight in for sound design adventures.
Interesting product but the presentation with those long sleeves . , , , I thought that at the end we will be putting some stickers and gems to the presentor's Travellers Notebook. . I just can't. Will wait for long sleveless demo video.

Will be possible in the future updates for stereo samples?
Stereo should always be table stakes! Sampling devices in the 1980s were stereo! There is zero reason for any sample instrument in 2024 to be mono!!!
The sampler is mono, the instrument itself is stereo.@@sub-jec-tiv
Are these sounds stock?
The demo shows my contribution to the factory library, so yes, most of them are stock.
Can i play audio through while playing the internal engine at the same time? thanks!
Sure can!
For me the most interesting Liven so far.
Same. The LoFi sorta peaked my interest l, but I was hearing bad things about the workflow.

@@RANDOMLOOPGENERATOR Good to know. The ambient aspect of the TL is actually what intrigues me about it. I got plenty other gear for the other 👍🏽

do you mean the last sequence? That was sampled from a speak-and-spell-like toy
I definitely will get one of these when I can afford it (AKA, when I start working again after I fix my car and move out of state).

Absolutely some of the most beautiful, poignant, emotive sounds I will ever hear. Astounding box.
For the price this is like a poor man's Wavestate. Really powerful little synth
this is what i've been waiting for.

Beautiful! Excited to get mine tomorrow.
This is what i'm looking for... Yeah!!!
This is the standout product of Superbooth to me
Good job. I think there is only one track at a time, with up to 128 steps, Is that so? Is it possible to use more than one sample at a time?
Yes and no. But the latter isn't an issue as granular synthesis works differently than a usual sample-based instrument
Sounds massive
Great! Where does the external Choir sound come from? Thanks!
Do you mean the one in the external effects part? That is a plugin called Vocalise 3 from Heavyocity.
Pretty sweet box for around 200. Can hold me until I can get my hands on an S-4

No to all of your questions but it’s still a great synth
you can use a sysex midi editor to move samples to and from the liven texture
No, no, no and yes
Such a great sound 👌
Which is better, Lemondrop or Texture Lab??
I don’t know lemondrop very well so I can’t really say
How much are these
Liven stuff is usually not that pricy. Couple of volca's sort of price
Same the other one.
great demo thanks 😊

Wow ✨
Can you plug in an external midi keyboard? For a full control of notes ?

Granular kinda exists for Reverb.
