I have the same boat. Question where did you get the new floor boards? Your right they are great boats.

Thanks for watching! I replaced the floorboards two years ago with new 3/4 inch teak and holly marine grade plywood. I used the old floorboards as a pattern, cut them out then sealed with West Systems 207 clear epoxy, and finished with a few coats of Epifanes dull varnish.

Thanks for that. The 281 just made my short list. I am curious though. How long are the settee's in the main cabin. Being 6'1" I'm wondering if I could find a comfortable place to sleep.

Thanks for watching, it’s a great boat. Best place for you would probably be diagonally in the rear quarter-birth. Seats in cabin fit me comfortably but I’m 5’6”.

It’s a great boat. Im 6’2” and sleep great in the aft cabin. Ive also slept in the main cabin with no problem.

Pretty roomy for 28 feet. At a cost of losing the V berth, but who cares about that anyways.
