First - your channel is very calming to me, it makes me slow down a bit and enjoy things more. Second - Not everything will work for everyone with insomnia, you just have to try everything and anything. I finally figured out my solution that has worked for the last four years; I make a sleep tea blend with loose leaf from an Etsy shop but you can find most in tea stores. Lots of valerian Root but more than that, Calea Ternifolia which is commonly called "Mexican Dream Herb" (bitter taste), lots of Mugwort, and then Chamomile, Yarrow, Skullcap, and Vervain. I'll mix different "taste" herbs in like licorice root, ginger, and peppermint. It does wonders, and while I do take a half dose of "simply sleep" on nights I'm not really sleepy, my coworkers have used the blend alone and they all have gotten to sleep and stayed asleep the whole night. I keep a similar routine every night, and I've found picking a house photo on pinterest and keeping it in my head and then I match nature sounds to it; I imagine walking through a door, walking down a path to the house, walking in, all the mundane things, it's only me in my mind palace and I drift to sleep. And on nights I can't shut my brain off - sleep stories at low volume ftw. I hope you find your solution soon! It's never just the one thing that will work, it's multiple things together!
I think this is one of your strongest videos visually. You can really tell that you're practicing your craft and trying new things - your creativity really shines through here! I'm sorry to hear about your insomnia. I have personally struggled on and off with sleeping problems all my life. Turns out that I was living with undiagnosed generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). I started cognitive behavioral therapy back in summer 2022 and I can honestly say that it has changed my life for the better - I've truly never been this happy and "unburdened." I hope that you're able to find a method that works for you to take back control of my life.

I love your videos on Italian culture. It reminds me of my childhood. I always thought Italian American culture was very different from Italian culture- but we have most things in common. Especially when it’s based around the table. When I seen your family sit down together and eat, everything from the food, to what everyone is saying and even the way they say it reminds me of family dinners at my house when I was a kid.
As a fellow insomniac taking vitamin D daily and getting enough sunlight helps a lot. Make sure you only use your bed to sleep in, don't watch videos, and spend too much time on it if you're not sleeping. Listen to relaxing music if you need to before going to bed or meditate to help calm your nerves or always take a quick warm shower before going to sleep as having a routine will help your brain know it's time to sleep. Also, try cutting out as much caffeine as possible as it worsens anxiety and messes with sleep. Kisses from the U.K xx
Hi Rosie! 💐 I really enjoy your channel so much! Please don't ever think that your hometown is boring. The place where your parents live, the business that they run, those things are not boring for someone like me and I would guess probably is fascinating to other people too. What I had seen so far in your other videos it is so cool to see your life with your parents your family it's very nice. It's so warm and comforting❤ I live in a big city, and winter here where I live is very dreary even though the city is busy. Seeing the simpler life is actually very interesting. For people that live in a major world city, I'm sure that getting the glimpse of a simpler way of life, a more village like setting is actually very comforting and very intriguing. It is a sight for sore eyes, an escape to a different calmer place. But on the other hand, when you go to a place that is a very touristy in italy like Venice, that is also very interesting. Especially for someone like me who has never been to Italy. seeing Venice through your lens is also very interesting. It's not just about seeing the sights but also catching your personality in this video too makes it all very enjoyable. I've never been to Italy thank you for taking us all there, through your videos! It is really nice to see it through your perspective. Actually any video that has you in it whether it's in Canada or in Italy is such a nice video to see, because you are so down to earth and honest and you have a very relaxed atmosphere to your videos, a relaxed personality.
You shouldn't doubt yourself, Rosie. You've got a substantial amount of followers on your channel. We LOVE you and your content and we are here to stay! 💕 There's no need to stress about how long you think you'll have the following and support from all of us viewers. You just keep being you girl and we'll love you for 100%! We love you Bonita! 🤗
Unisom has literally saved me! I fought it for 7 years and I realized how important sleep is to a human body so I take a quarter or a half of a tablet a few times a week and it’s wonderful to sleep through the night again ❤️good luck it’s a horrible thing to deal with. Mine came from menopause
Rosie your channel is my happy place. I boke up with my boyfriend last night and I really needed some comfort. Watching your videos have made me feel a bit better😊🥰
rosie the camera quality look absolutely amazing!!! it look like a professional tv show!! also I cant get over how your mom can do so much in a day its amazing
I love how carnivals can be different in every place. Here in Brazil the carnival is different in Rio, in the south side, and especially the northeast side
Thank you Rosie for the most easy to follow video on Venice Carnival. That is #1 on my carnival bucket list as I come from a carnival nation (Trinidad) and I want to experience other carnivals. Ours is very high energy, lots of dancing in the streets, lots of alcohol, and lots of well organized costumed parades. On Carnival Monday we have J'ouvert which means daybreak and we go out into the streets at about 2/3am and it is crazy mud, paint and powder party with lots of dancing, later that day people come back out on the streets in parts of their costumes or toned down versions and on Tuesday we start from 8 am in full pretty costumes and feathered glory going right down until midnight. Can't wait to come to Venice!
Always happy when Rosie drops a new vlog! Hotel room was very nice. The light show was pretty cool. I had to cut out the caffeine to get a decent night sleep. The withdrawal sucked but it was eventually worth it. Mardi Gras looks more respectable in Venice that in New Orleans. I think Venice is on my bucket list now. Thanks so much for posting!
this is interesting bc in slovenia we have "pust" which is also a carnival holiday, we have our own traditions that vary from the different regions and kids usually dress up in costumes, we have parades, etc. the point of it is to wear costumes and scary masks so winter will get scared and "run away" and spring will begin. it also happens around the same time as carnival in italy so i wonder if its connected in some way considering italy is a neighbour country
In Poland (as well as in Germany) we have something very similar (or even the same) to chiacchiere an its called faworki/chruściki. They are usually made in the time of Carnival and my grandma is a MASTER at maiking those!
I love your videos so much. They're so relaxing to watch whenever I'm having a stressful day. Your videos of Italy are definitely some of my favorite - i love learning about your culture. I use to have bad insomnia too, but ever since I did exposure therapy for PTSD it has gone away. Sometimes it psychological and other times it might just be exercise. I notice whenever I finish a hard days work on the farm, I sleep like an angel. Maybe do a fun little dance every afternoon to kick out some energy, go hiking, biking, or just for a walk. ❤
Blessings Rosie. You got me thinking about taking a teaching job for a semester in Italy. Yes, I would teach English or Special Education at a community college or university. Wow! You inspire this Nonna, young lady!
Hi Rosie, exercise is definitely a great way to stop insomnia. Particularly strenuous exercise such as lifting weights, if you don’t have access to a gym you could do squats, push-ups, pull ups etc. working the muscles is a great way to feel more sleepy at night! It helps me sleep so so much. Also, I’m a psychology student, sleep deprivation can cause anxiety to be worse and vis versa. Hope you’re doing ok, loved this video! ❤
I'm so glad you're back Rosie! Thank you for taking us along with you! Loved the show! I'm always so happy to watch your videos! Take care of yourself!
Your mom is so awesome!! Thank you for sharing videos of her cooking, I enjoy all of them. You are so lucky to have her! Excited about more of this content.
i love love love your videos! I moved from germany to italy a couple months ago and your videos help me a lot to understand a lot of the culture. And you as a person are so inspiring for me because you moved so far away from home and it helped me a lot to see someone who is real and honest about all the struggles that come with it. Thank you!
Beautiful Hotel room overlooking the water , You are very blessed to be able to take these trips and see all what you do , Thanks for sharing the video with all of us . God Bless .
I absolutely love your genuine content Rosie. It's so entertaining and calming at the same time. I visited your beautiful country this January for the very first time and already look forward to returning and seeing more of it. Venice will definitely be my next stop. Thank you for all the love you put into your videos...and for washing your armpits on camera for us. I died 🤣 Lots of love, strength and sleepy vibes coming your way from Sydney 💛🐨🌻Xx
I had the pleasure to stay in Padova for half a year in 2021 and i have to say i REALLY miss it! The first time i saw your video i was like "huh that building looks familiar" But i shrugged it off as shes in Italy all the buildings gonna look the same😂 BUT THEN i got the confirmation that you are indeed based in Padova, i legit screamed so loud (inside my head ofc). I really enjoyed your videos as i remember walking pass the buildings and streets you took, the way you film is so laid back i felt like i was in the city/country again! Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us ❤
i had the same issue with insomnia the most natural i way i was able to treat it is by just having 1 coffee in a day just in the morning and not drinking any beverage with caffeine and less sugary food especially at night time.
I cherish all your videos but esp your Italy ones detailing the incredible culture and love that surrounds you in your home and family. Energy exchange is real because when you are fulfilled by your content, so are we :) thank you for these videos ❤ my mom and I are planning a trip to Italy soon and I cannot wait
I found your channel because one of your "what I eat in Italy" videos was recommended to me and let me tell you, the way you show a genuine side of life made me stay. It reminds me when I used to visit my great-grandmother up north (countryside in Portugal, where I live) and how slow our summer days were in her house when my siblings, cousins, and I were children. I miss those days. Your videos are pure nostalgia. Even today, when I got to the street market with my grandma, I always have a cozy feeling in my heart. Thank you :)
I love your videos about italian lifestyle. Especially food hehe. As for insomnia before taking any drugs try quitting coffee. It worked for me. I always knew I was very sensitive to caffeine but still drank coffee because I loved it. At one point I just decided to quit caffeinated drinks and it worked. After a couple of weeks you stop craving it. There are coffees made from cereals (like caffè d orzo) which are a nice alternative and great with milk (naturally a bit sweet so put less sugar). Then you have rooibos tea, herbal teas, and hot chocolate... Oh forget about coke and other sodas too. Take care!
This content is so dope Rosie! You are hella talented and your style is unique so please do not get discouraged and keep putting out and doing what makes you happy because we love to see it!
I study in Verona and my friend was visiting from Sicily for a week, so we decided to visit Venice as well. We found this cute old bakery and we just grabbed two pastries each. We were walking from the bakery (which was in a small street) towards a small plaza and we each were eating a pastry, then my friend started eating the second one while mine was secured in the bag. And the it happened. I kid you not, a seagull was on top a shop's tent in the corner and he was READY to snatch the frittella out of my friend's hand. They are soo used to people blissfully ignoring the danger that is hiding right around the corner ahaha Anyways, you have a new Subscriber from Italy
I literally come to your page to see if you’ve posted any new videos. Your life is very interesting and you’re very authentic in everything you do. I love the food and your every day life. I also love the dessert footage when you’re with your grandma. The box of desserts always look delicious. Would you consider typing or naming the desserts next time there’s a box of desserts around 🙏
I love all of your content, don’t be so hard on yourself because all of your videos are super interesting and super relaxing. Also your mom is so freaking amazing, every time you film her I’m always in awe of her! I hope you keep posting videos more often! 🙏🏽 Hello from Brooklyn! 🙋🏽♀️🥰
I was in Venice a few months ago alone and it was so spooky at night! I kept jumping at my own shadow because it was so dark and and there was no one around.
I freaking adore your videos. I'm sorry that your residency issues are so complicated. But I do love how your videos show what life is like in both Canada and Italy. They contrast each other in very fun ways.
Hello Rosie! I've just discovered your videos and I'm really enjoying them. Your mom is an amazing woman, it really touched me when she washed dishes to allow her workers to go home early in one of your videos, it made me tear up! ❤ Your parents are so hardworking and humble, I so admire you & your sister for helping so much with the business. You girls seem so nice. ❤ I would like to be of help to you about your insomnia even in a minimal way in these comments. If you lessen or eliminate your caffeine intake it will be easier for you to get a good nights sleep, I've tried this and it really helped me naturally feel sleepy at night. Hope this helps and God bless you & your fam as you continue your UA-cam journey!
We've missed you Rosie!! Excited to have more Italian content from you! I can also tell you've kicked it up a notch with the video production & editing, this was really cool 👌 On the note of Canada, don't let that fear of a job keep you from living where you want to now. As someone who was born in Canada and left 4 years ago, i feel you, it is so BOORING, I couldn't imagine living there by choice. 😅 There are so many other incredible places in the world that are rich in culture and also have good work opportunities. And you've built an epic platform for yourself, even if you aren't doing UA-cam forever, you have a loyal following that would love to support you in other business endeavours in the future! Hope thats just a bit of encouragement to follow what feels right for you. :) Lots of love x

It's really inspiring to see someone who also has social anxiety fighting against it to do something cool like this, i hope i get to this point one day! :D
I loved every minute of this vlog, the scene of you washing your armpits was hilarious 😂. I always learn something new about Italian culture when I watch your videos and I really found the carnival interesting to watch. I’ve been to Venice but watching how you spent the time, the hotel you stayed in and the food you ate makes me want to visit again❤
Girl, you kept it real with the sweat smell and washing of the armpits! Haven't we all been there and done that! Keep being you, Rosie! Always a pleasure to watch.
I was happy to hear you realize how wonderful and special your life in Italy has been. Your videos that show your holidays at your Nonna's and your mom's daily life were absolutely a joy to watch and I have watched them many times...keep going with your beautiful Italian videos and see where it takes you...xo

I'm a lot older than you and I recently started going to places alone. It takes courage and after a while I started to enjoy my own company. You only have one life and you may as well live it the way you want to. You give me hope on a daily basis. I binged watched six of your videos in a row last night when I couldn't sleep✌ Just keep being you and doing what you do! All my love from Canada! 🇨🇦🇮🇹
Hi Rosie First of all I absolutely love your Italian content because it's so calming and so simple. I love the simplicity. But I also love your day to day vlogs of cannada. Especially what I eat in a day, daily vlog etc. I love your asthetic so when you are in Canada you can try weekly vlog or something, you can combine two weeks and shoot clips and make a video. These videos would have your food, talking and asthetics too. Just some suggestions. We will support all your content.
yes! I recently just moved back to where I grew up after being gone for 8 years. w mass USA. I never appreciated the gorgeous nature and how special it is living in a small town until now. YOUR VIDEOS ARE GETTING BETTER AND BETTER!
this video inspired me to not be anxious when recording in front of others 💌
I'm 45 and I appreciate your content in the most wholesome way. I appreciate your authenticity, and I'm super glad to see you enjoying some success for your hard work. Enjoy the ride! This is my favorite UA-cam channel right now.
the amount of comfort and peace you give me rosie. thank you so much
There are so many people who will never be able to visit Italy, so your videos are a real treat! Thank-you for sharing your experiences in Italy! 🤗👍
Hi Rosie! 💐
I really enjoy your channel so much!
I just got back from my Italy trip! It’s such a beautiful country I miss it so much already 😢😢 Love from Malaysia 🇲🇾❤️
ciaoooo!
You are my new favorite channel! Your vlogs in Italy are so interesting and calming. I love how simply you live and how you feature food ❤
I admire the honesty about social anxiety all throughout this video- it can be so exhausting at time but make one laugh as well. I love your videos !
Unisom has literally saved me! I fought it for 7 years and I realized how important sleep is to a human body so I take a quarter or a half of a tablet a few times a week and it’s wonderful to sleep through the night again ❤️good luck it’s a horrible thing to deal with. Mine came from menopause
I absolutely LOVE ♥️when you’re in Italy!
I love and admire your independent spirit. You rely on yourself to enjoy life.❤
Yes! I love this about her too!
omg yes shes such a queen
I guess it's an INFP trait. Because I'm an INFP too and usually go out & hang out by myself.
"You rely on yourself to enjoy life" - I love that
Rosie your channel is my happy place. I boke up with my boyfriend last night and I really needed some comfort. Watching your videos have made me feel a bit better😊🥰
rosie the camera quality look absolutely amazing!!! it look like a professional tv show!! also I cant get over how your mom can do so much in a day its amazing
CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS CAMERA QUALITY??? Literally everything about this video is perfect, so proud of u!!!🤍
You have no clue how much your videos bring peace to my mind . I love them and the Italy ones are literally my favourite! ❤️
this is interesting bc in slovenia we have "pust" which is also a carnival holiday, we have our own traditions that vary from the different regions and kids usually dress up in costumes, we have parades, etc. the point of it is to wear costumes and scary masks so winter will get scared and "run away" and spring will begin. it also happens around the same time as carnival in italy so i wonder if its connected in some way considering italy is a neighbour country
I love your videos because they make me feel less weird for going out and doing things alone. Now I see how cool you are and I’m not afraid
Yay I’m glad you’re back in Italy. You look so much happier when you’re home!
i love love love your videos! I moved from germany to italy a couple months ago and your videos help me a lot to understand a lot of the culture. And you as a person are so inspiring for me because you moved so far away from home and it helped me a lot to see someone who is real and honest about all the struggles that come with it. Thank you!
Rosie came back with a new camera, a new look and great editing. Come thru Rosie!!
Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us ❤
I want to go to Italy so badly now. The food always looks so delicious!!
I love your channel!! You are a brave young woman and I really admire you!!
I love your videos so much! They are so realistic and authentic and yet so aesthetic❤
i had the same issue with insomnia the most natural i way i was able to treat it is by just having 1 coffee in a day just in the morning and not drinking any beverage with caffeine and less sugary food especially at night time.
The way I dealt with insomnia was by working out regularly (4 times a week). It helped me ever since. Can highly recommend.
Absolutely love this content. Makes me appreciate my Italian heritage.
You are my favourite youtuber. Your life seems so simple yet so si beautiful ,you enjoy living in the moment with your family
Plz stay like this 💗💗💗
I love your videos about italian lifestyle.
Your mother is incredible and seems to show love through food. One of the best ways!
They are soo used to people blissfully ignoring the danger that is hiding right around the corner ahaha
Anyways, you have a new Subscriber from Italy
I love your content wherever you are in the world. I’m so happy when you post!
Rosie, your content is such a breath of fresh air! Thank you for your transparency and simplicity 💖 lots of love from California 💛
I was in Venice a few months ago alone and it was so spooky at night! I kept jumping at my own shadow because it was so dark and and there was no one around.
WE ALL LOVE YOUR ITALIAN FOOD CONTENT SO MUCH pls dont stop making them
I freaking adore your videos. I'm sorry that your residency issues are so complicated. But I do love how your videos show what life is like in both Canada and Italy. They contrast each other in very fun ways.
Y’allll we need a friend like Rosie ❤🌹I’m about to go to work and seeing this video made my day. Keep doing you girl!!!!
I would like to be of help to you about your insomnia even in a minimal way in these comments.
I can also tell you've kicked it up a notch with the video production & editing, this was really cool 👌
On the note of Canada, don't let that fear of a job keep you from living where you want to now. As someone who was born in Canada and left 4 years ago, i feel you, it is so BOORING, I couldn't imagine living there by choice. 😅
There are so many other incredible places in the world that are rich in culture and also have good work opportunities. And you've built an epic platform for yourself, even if you aren't doing UA-cam forever, you have a loyal following that would love to support you in other business endeavours in the future! Hope thats just a bit of encouragement to follow what feels right for you. :) Lots of love x
I want a plain place, you’re welcome to go to Europe.
Rosie I love you. When I get wifi you're the first thing I watch. I soak it up. You're so down to earth.
You literally are my favourite youtuber Rosie and it's always a treat when you upload a video ♥ Thank you for sharing with us :D

We just had carnival here in brazil and it's so cool to see the few similarities between such different cultures :o
Also your videos are getting so much better, loved the filming and editing in this one!
It's really inspiring to see someone who also has social anxiety fighting against it to do something cool like this, i hope i get to this point one day! :D
Watching the light show felt like something straight out of a Fellini movie 🤩
I loved every minute of this vlog, the scene of you washing your armpits was hilarious 😂. I always learn something new about Italian culture when I watch your videos and I really found the carnival interesting to watch. I’ve been to Venice but watching how you spent the time, the hotel you stayed in and the food you ate makes me want to visit again❤
I love the festivals in italy, we attended the A Cena Con I Bizantini in Crecchio Italia, era fantastico!
Girl, did you run down in your pajamas, set your camera up on the sidewalk, then run back in for a balcony shot? I admire your dedication 👏🏻👏🏻
I love it when you film your Nona cooking meals and your family share a meal together.
I absolutely love your vibe and your videos so much!! Been obsessed! Thank you for these ❤ you leave me feeling hungry every time 😅
This is the most calming video I have watched bc all I’ve been watching is like paranormal vids on YT but I just love how calm and amazing ur content is
Love these videos! So real and informative!
You're a brave young lady! I enjoy watching your videos so much! I'm an INFP as well so I appreciate how well you deal with your social anxiety.
🇨🇦🇮🇹
Hi Rosie
First of all I absolutely love your Italian content because it's so calming and so simple.
Plus being close to my family is priceless. I love your videos and you have inspired be to travel to Italy. All that natural and healthy food!! I admire how the Italians do it.
Yes please more Italy!! I love the culture ❤️
I'm a ver tech in Portugal and I make less than 1000 euros per month... And I work a looooot.
Love to watch your content 🥰
MORE ITALIAN CONTENT PLEASEEEE - Naples & Palermo (They are on my bucket list!!) & I can't stop laughing at "2 people i talk to once a year" bahahaha
Blows my mind how you could find Italy boring 😮. This was an amazing video ! 😊
Hi prima! Thanks for bringing us to this magical place. The US is so ass sometimes but Italy seems like a dream
bravissima Rosie 💓 la qualità dei contenuti che porti va migliorando di video in video! tieni un’ottima compagnia, sei rilassante e sempre interessante
Washing armpits in the sink…so relatable 😂
Watching this from australia makes me want to visit Venice and the rest of Italy 🥹 I get so excited every-time you post because you show things other people may not think to show. 🥰
i love your italian videos!! i see you different in here in a good way than in you canadian ones :)
She is happy to share our culture, we Italians always love to share
She seems more authentic in Italy, but Carnival? Is that it?? Hardly New Orleans Mardi Gras, how disappointing.
I love how relaxed and happy you are whenever you're filming in Italy.Venice during the carnival season sounds amazing to visit!
