I remember when Drake X was so cool back in the day. Dude had one of the best character designs, devil fruit, and was badass. They did him dirty in Wano Arc. Chances of seeing him again is damn near zero

Him encouraging Chopper is so wholesome, and it actually makes practical sense since he's #2. When Luffy isn't around, whether for a moment or a long while, Zoro is always holding the crew down.

I don’t know who said it but someone in the anime literally stated that zoro is the glue keeping the crew together. He’s able to counter luffys hotheadedness despite being a bit of a hothead himself. But with that being said, he’s still honestly in my opinion the most capable straw hat all around, even being able to get sanji to follow his lead in certain situations.

Zoro and Choppers relationship is so wholesome and such wonderful part of this show. It’s so flipping awesome. It makes me happy inside and the “that’s my man” line makes it just the better.
I see Brook’s been teaching Zoro his “make the enemies not know they’re cut until the sword is sheathed” technique.
I mean zoro first pulled this in alabasta but the 3 pace hum is always badass to watch

@@beeegman I think he actually did something similar during the Arlong Park arc after he slashed hachi and a bit later the cut got worse
Zoro sees the moves and just does them. He learned Kinemon's flame cutting just by watching, seems to reason that he'd do the same with Brook. He doesn't need a teach. The sword is his only tutor... and Mihawk.
I love how Drake is like "Got it..." without any words giving Zoro space to finish the duel and prove he deserves the trust.
It's filler, zoro cheap shotted apoo when drake was pushing apoo back with a combo (where apoo was struggling to block)

"That's my man" is probably the best quote of that whole episode. It's just so wholesome to see Zoro and Choppper's growth as crewmates, with Chopper becoming more confident in his abilities overtime, and Zoro becoming less selfish and caring more about his crew. While it was filler, it does remind me of that scene in Alabasta where Zoro and Chopper have that chat about whether they have picked the right captain and what their role in the crew is.

I think Zoro always cared about his crew. I remember how angry he was on Skypia after what Ohm did to Chopper.

The cloud of dust that passes over him casts the shadow of a lion with a scar over its left eye, then the burst of his haki takes on the shape of multiple emanating lion heads and a horrified Apoo, and then during his forward dash his haki shapes itself around his head in the form of a lion's skull that 'slowly' peels away as the draw approaches

Apoo was easily stopping Zoro slashes, and zoro only landed a hit when apoo was literally heavily distracted and pinned down by drake, and then apoo got up like it barely happened.

The fact that he one shot Apoo, someone from the Worst Generation, proves that Zoro earned his place to be with Luffy and the others when they fight Kaido. He's now in a league of his own.
Zoro is currently at admiral level I believe. Somewhere in between yonko and first commander.

Apoo is not a stepping stone for Zoro at this point that took no difficultly… also Luffys crew is still very weak compared to other Yonko’s so defeating any admiral 1v1 for Zoro would be very high diff

@@tesoro5620 basically all of g-9 was some of of the best one piece moments in terms of filler and story telling, better than other animes main arcs like hueco mundo from bleach or war arc from naruto

The background music after zoro saw kiku's arm was reminiscent of the bgm when whitebeard attacked akainu after throwing him in the air.
I think the blood splatter should have been a lil bigger (mostly cause apoo is wearing all red so it makes it a little hard to see) but aside from that this scene was awesome!

I’ve been re watching and I realized that he has a square stance because he wanted to be able to cut anything in that stance due to being unable to cut when he was stuck in the wax
Zoro is amazing. He never messes around. I like his battle style too. Just like Vegeta from DBZ. He gets down to business. Doesn't waste time, gets the job done.
Zoro could easily a top captain, but follows Luffy. Speaks to Luffy’s strength and resolve, or Zoro would of went his own way like Mihawk. That said, we know absolutely nothing about Mihawk, and people already theorizing Elbaf and The One Peace, and the significance of the ancient weapons, etc.

This is why speed is one of the best abilities to have. The ability to attack somebody without them seeing you is such a broken ability
and the ability to predict the future is even more busted xD theoretically, it doesn't matter how fast an opponent is, you're still going to see what they are about to do

The visible silhouette of a lion behind the mist when he took the initial pose before that green aura popped up is a nice detail.
