It's hilarious to think that Zoro at this point was at a level JUST below King and Queen because he didn't have a real challenging matchup until Wano lol Everyone he faced was getting sweeped. This is one of Oda's hints until he reveals Zoro's conquerors against Kaidou, after he gives Kaido a permanent scar, like Oden.
Actually zoro DID use conqueror in its blade. Using conqueror, but not armament haki, you can disable a user fruit powers, like for instance when Law changed back into a man.
Fun fact: This is actually the third time of Zoro fighting a woman, first one was with Kuina but he can't defeat her many times, and the second one was with Tashigi in Logue Town
