- I often get the question “what do I do with the tofu?”… My answer: you can do a looot of things! It’s pretty plain and boring by itself but can turn into something very delicious if you prepare it right. These are my favorite ways 💚 recipes down below or in my app 👇

RECIPES:
For the scramble spice mix, a jar (recipe from my app)
8 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin, ground
1 tsp turmeric, ground
1 tsp black pepper, ground
2 tsp black Himalayan salt
1 tsp salt
Use 1 1/2 - 2tbsp spice mix per 7oz (200g) tofu
For the lemon basil pasta, 3 servings (recipe from my app)
11 oz (300g) whole wheat pasta, dry
Sauce
12 oz (350g) tofu, silken
1 handful fresh spinach
1/2 cup fresh basil
1/2 cup (120ml) plant milk, unsweetened
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper, ground
For the tofu marinade (for 14oz/400g tofu)
4 tbsp tamari sauce
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
For the dressing (1 jar, recipe from my app)
6 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp tamari sauce
1 tbsp maple syrup
Stir all ingredients together in a jar and then add splashes of water, stir to combine until desired consistency
For the silken mousse, 2 servings (recipe from my app)
4 oz (100g) vegan dark chocolate
12 oz (350g) tofu, silken
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt

I LOVE TOFU. I've been vegan for 3 1/2 years and tofu has easily become my favorite food. I've never made a pasta sauce out of it, though. I can't wait to try that.

Can i make your curry-hummus-dressing with silken Tofu instead of the hummus? Would it be as tasty as it is with the hummus?
Well, I'm not a vegan but was curious to try the chocolate mousse as it seemed so easy to make. It was silky and chocolatey, but felt it did have a slightly bitter tofu after taste. Even though I used honey instead of maple syrup, will need to play around a bit more to hide that taste! Any thoughts?
Maple syrup has a different taste.. so that might mask that

in Germany you can find it in asia shops, or in organic stores
Hello Alexandra I am Laura from Italy. I am glad to see that you and your baby girl are doing well, you both are simply gorgeous. I really love your plant based recipes, they are simple and delicious. I would like to ask you something. When balancing food nutrients, I see you make use of tahina cashew and other seeds and nuts, but not oils. Why is that so? Is it a personal preference or because you think oils are less healthy? Here in Italy we base our food culture on the extra vergin olive oil, so I would like to know, if you don't mind, your opinion on oils. Thank you very much and Keep on sharing your recipes with us
Hi! Thank you 🥰 I do use oils sometimes. I prefer my caloric intake comes from whole fat sources like nuts, seeds, avocado etc because they also have fiber and more vitamins and minerals. I don’t see an issue with cooking with it. However if I’m eating fried foods with lots of oil I feel so tired afterwards

On earth , our existence is temporary... we're not gonna be here forever...so why make somebody else's existence (I'm talking about animals) painful and hard..their life doesn't have to be miserable 😖..
Plus.. we wouldn't be around for more than a century anyway.. and you don't die on a plant based diet.. infact it's quite the opposite if planned smartly ... So i don't see any reason to not be vegan...
And there's so much information on the internet..and amazing recipes like this one..
