@misscottencandy15 there is no pain you are just removing the dead outter coat a tiny bit at a time. If you pull out live hair or undercoat you are doing it wrong!!

this is a russell terrier. Jack Russell's have short hair. Do you know anyone in NJ I can learn from. I am a retired master groomer and I used to hand strip my mother's westies but that was over 45+ years ago. I do not remember

I see you are not from the US. Here we have the Jack Russell which are more like a toy, the Russell like the 1 you are working on and then the Parsons Russell which are much bigger and they can have short coat, longer coat or even a broken coat

You can find the Jack russell terrier with short hair and wire hair, the Parson its another breed so similar. But both of they are amazing breeds
@edeaplay in the states there are 3 Jack russell, russell, and parsons russell terriers.
