It has more to do with prosecutors trying to get a win at any cost, even making BS plea deals that further harm the community.
They need to search all of his properties, land, home(s). Guarantee they would find bodies. Being as bold as this, he was confident, all be it stupid, but this must've worked before for him to even attempt it. Imo.
They need to do the food in the drawer type delivery system like at the Pharmacy or bank! Why wait until someone is snatched!
honestly its terrible that we’ve come to the point where we have to be concerned someone will be snatched out a drive-thru window.
The revolving safety windows work better for fast food. The bags fit better on them and it's easier for drivers to reach them. They're also easier to clean than the drawer style.

I mean It would be safer if I replaced my windows with bulletproof glass, but my house and car isn’t regularly shot at so it’s unnecessary. If no one has ever actually been taken trough a drive-thru window, it seems very unnecessary and expensive to change everything to prevent it. It’s impossible to prepare for and prevent every possible scenario of something bad happening
These types need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Wow, I’m a 58 yr old woman and this happened to me when I was a teenager working at a McDonald’s. Only he had me halfway through the window when coworkers grabbed my legs and pulled me back in. Back in those days you just went on with your day saying well that guy was crazy. Still remember the bruising on my belly. And I am telling the truth, I’m 58 no need to lie for attention.

Yeah when we were 6, some guy was creeping in on me and my twin sister while we were playing in the back yard I don’t exactly remember were our parents were anyway he tried to get us to come up to him at the fence but our older neighbor (who my family knew very well) stepped out onto his back porch and started keeping an eye on us and talking to us and it scared the man away.

I'm 28, I've been working remote for a long time now, i know not everyone can say this but I don't miss working retail/customer-facing jobs.. back in my late teens and early 20s i got approached by all kinds of clearly older men in these public places.. back when kmart was still around, i was a cashier, this old old dude kept asking my age, i said i was 18, hoping it would steer him away and im telling you his eyes lit up and he kept pushing for my number. i can't stress enough how beautiful it is to work remote, no more daily CREEPS

The only good thing about my divorce is that my 2 daughters now have 3 adults to provide for them and don't need to work as teenagers. Between myself, their father and his new wife, they only have to concentrate on school, youth group and band.
