One big problem I had with this quiz is that all of the exhibition questions talked about the “even if the person didn’t agree to it”. Consent is super important.
I totally agree , my girlfriend (dom to my sub ) and I always discuss what we can or cannot do , she will always seek consent if she wants to try something new and she never goes against something I'm not happy to participate in...
@@Finn-sr3fm No worries! You didn't write the quiz! I think consensual exhibitionism/voyeurism is a kink that deserves a lot more attention. I know for some people the hotness comes from the "wrongness" and illicit nature of exhibitionism and voyeurism, but that can still be achieved through roleplay/fantasy. If a person did not consent to seeing a sexual act nor consent to having their sexual act seen, then STOP.
The quiz is actually missing A LOT of kinks but it's a good basic quiz for beginners. Not at all littles are sexual, so that question can be tricky. Honestly, a lot of the questions are open for interpretation, and I hate the voyeur and exhibition questions include non consensually in then, I'd like those separated out.
yeah that's so true! but I guess you can fantasise about watching/being watched without your knowledge but definitely need to know the difference between fantasy and reality!
Any suggestion for a more detailed quiz? I remember there was one around, but I also remember it is now defunct (I don't remember the name, apologies.)
Allot of the time when I took it I felt the questions needed to be split into multiple parts and there definitely needed to be more kinks in there. Especially as a newbie it’s nice to have descriptions to what some terms mean so you could consider whether that appeals without having to google every single thing that you come across
I LOVE THIS QUIZ. There was a trend at my college where everyone took this and shared their results!! Lead to quite a few enjoyable and compatible hookups😂
So many things i want to tell you, from someone who actually participates in BDSM! First of all, this test actually doesn’t cover many fetishes (think foot fetishes etc), and actually only covers things that involve power exchange. It’s also not like a be all end all of describing kinks, because most kinks are more personal and nuanced. It’s a good starting point though if you’re new to kink and trying to figure out what you might be into. Second thing is that the question about being sexually tortured is not likely, in my opinion, to have to do with pain, since they have other questions on that. Third, ageplay, the kink described in the question about whether you like to act like a child, can be participated in during scenes/sex, or can be a lifestyle. So it doesn’t only have to be in a sexual context. You might actually be more into ageplay than you think lol. I don’t love the “how adventurous are you” questions on this quiz. They kind of push this idea that the more kinky you are, the better, but taking risks in BDSM can be very dangerous, and no one should be judging or measuring each other based on what they like in bed. On your results the “owner” is the top for a pet, not a for a slave. My opinions, feel free to disagree! Love your videos ☺️ Also, for anyone who’s interested in a further breakdown of the test, Amp and Mr, Kristopher took this test and gave their opinion on their kink and sex education channel, Watts The Safeword. ua-cam.com/video/wLsFqHdl62Y/v-deo.html
Another answer to this quiz from BDSM Educator Evie Lupine with some comments on the wording on some of the questions: ua-cam.com/video/HB8D08bS3j0/v-deo.html
From someone who is teased a lot by their friends for being 'kinky' and wishes they could talk more openly about these traditionally 'taboo' subjects, this and these kind of videos really mean a lot! Thank you so much for everything you are doing.
There can be a weird thing that some people are somehow unable to be kinky or even talk about the subject without getting ridiculed for it, and experiencing people around you to be blatantly more open about the whole subject of sex without experiencing being ridiculed for it.
Someone should make a dating app wheren you can/have to answer this quiz and then they show you a percentage of sexual compatibility whilst swiping/viewing their profile.
Sexual compatibility des NOT become a factor until after you find yourself attracted to another - you can't take a quiz and get-around the shallow-part of dating.
That sounds like a big bit of the OKCupid site, and it didn't help me one bit...after having been subscribed there for 1,5 years and having sent 98 "potential partners" or whatever it was called referenced by those lists and didn't get a response back I was very much done with that site...
I’ve done this a couple of times. I did it once and sent it to my boyfriend, he then did it and later we did it together and actually talked through why we chose certain things and it was a great way to start a more in depth conversation about these things
this video makes me really happy bc my partner and i are very new to sex & relationships and it’s very relieving to see someone like hannah talking super comfortably about kinks but also about how there’s nothing wrong with being vanilla and how you can still have a fulfilling sex life if you’re vanilla :))
90% Vanilla. Yup, that makes sense. Then rope bunny, exhibitionist, switch, voyeur, submissive are all 55% or higher. Yeah, again, that sounds about right for me. Super interesting quiz, might need to get my partner to do it too...
Does anyone know whether this quiz is available in other languages? Because I'd love to do it with my partner but he doesn't have a sufficient level of English
My boyfriend came in while I was watching this video and we proceeded to do the quiz together. Actually really helpful to see each others' answers and talk about why they put them
Thanks for being ace friendly on a sex channel! Makes your saying "everyone is different and that's okay" really mean everyone, and it's lovely to be included in a space that's not traditionally mine :) Loved the quiz! Gonna do it myself now!
It's really important to remember that BDSM does *not* equal sex. BDSM can be completely non-sexual. The pleasures you can get from BDSM can be completely non-sexual. This quiz is definetely not very inclusive of that, but there are many asexual people who enjoy and participate in BDSM.
My whole friendship group took this quiz and it was really fun as we all shared our results and they have resulted in a lot of inside jokes between us. It was also really informative and surprising too to find out things that you wouldn’t have suspected from people.
_Not MY kink, but_ : The "acting like a child; colouring book etc"-thing wouldn't necessarily be sexual (it might be for some people, which, ew); BDSM isn't *just* about sex, it can be about broader dynamics in the relationship. But BDSM is so broad that it's often interpreted differently I suppose.
It’s a common misconception I personally when I’m tired or upset regress in my speech and I am happier doing more simple activities like colouring or watching children’s films and want to be taken care by my partner of sex is like the furthest thing from my mind but my dominant needs to be able to handle that shift but also want to
@@uncommonpurestbeauty well if you revolve sex and all that with acting like a child that is ew cuz that's hinting that person could be attracted to children which is weird. Otherwise why and how could you get off on your partner acting like a child???
@@uncommonpurestbeauty Honestly, I did ask myself if I was kink shaming, and there's nothing wrong with ageplay in general, like JLoDucky's example, but I'm just not sure if we should defend sexualising children/childlike behaviour.
@@FloraNB it's one of the most innocent kinks and has nothing to do with real children. That is absolutely kink shaming. By American laws, they are one of the few groups not doing anything illegal.
So, I have done this test twice(?) Once when I was 18 (before having a long term relationship) and once just now (aged 20, and in a long term relationship) when I was 18 my results were: Brat, Masochist, Pet and at 20, my results are: Rope bunny, Brat, Pet and Experimental (with the same percentage) It's really interesting how your answers change over time
I was 98% brat, and 73% submissive - those were my top two! Definitely not what I was expecting 😂 So excited for this series, loved this first episode!
I'm so kinky it's not even funny. 100% a rope bunny, 100% submissive, 100% Masochist, 100% Degradee. Sometimes I'm in a slave or a little mood, my Dom has to get me there.
I think "owner" here might be meant as the opposite of "pet", not the opposite of "slave"? I've heard both though. But it would explain why slave was higher up than owner for you, since you expressed no interest in pet play.
Being a kinky person, I try to redo this quiz every year! It’s a good generic type of guide to use as reference. Top 3. Brat, non-monogamist, submissive. Bottom 3. Sadist, degrader, degradee. I currently only have one partner but we are both polyamorous and his results definitely line up appropriately with mine 😅
Re: consent in the questions about exhibitionism/voyeurism, I read that as in fantasy, or roleplay. Sure, there's actually consent behind it all, but you play AS IF there isn't.
I've taken this quiz before, years ago and just retook it because of this video haha I don't remember my original results but what I got this time is pretty accurate. My top 3 are Switch, Brat, Brat Tamer. Bottom 3 are Pet, Degradee, Degrader.
And now I’m considering re-taking this with my partner to see how/if we’ve changed over time. Especially since I’m almost positive the first time I took it (probably 2012 or 2013), I thought in terms of fantasy and only through the prism of how I personally understood BDSM at the time. And now I have more experience and a broader view of what those things can mean AND I think about consent differently (better) than I once did. And some of those questions definitely don’t consider consent.
Yeah, doing it again, especially if you feel you as a person or even the way you act in some contexts have changed, or if you've thought or experimented some more, can be really interesting. I do it regularly (for context: I am in the lifestyle though, and it's a very big part of my daily life), mostly as an excuse to think about and question myself a bit because I suck at doing it on my own and have a really hard time figuring out what I like
I've taken this test probably like 20 times over the last four years just because I like seeing my interests change. Turns out I've always been kinky but I still got even kinkier.
I definitely expected most of my results lol 100% Degradee 99% Brat 99% Rope bunny 97% Masochist 91% Submissive 74% Voyeur 71% Primal (Prey) 60% Experimentalist 55% Vanilla 49% Slave Some that I didn't expect for myself were 25% Switch, 9% Rigger, and 1% Dominant, considering I thought of myself as full sub.
As someone who's had a bit of experience, but still has a lot to learn, maybe I can help with a few questions you had during the video. I've read most of the comments, but apologize if any of this was covered previously. "Age Play" is not generally sexual, particularly if the "Little" plays the age of someone who likes to play in the park and color. People who play "Brats" are generally assumed to be playing in High School age and sexual activity in that case is far more likely. I've made special coloring books for "Littles" that I know and there's nothing sexual about it. Most "Littles", in my experience, just want a break from 'adulting' for a while and take that break from a simpler time in their lives. Those who are on the other end of the relationship, the "Bigs" or "Daddies/Mommies" get satisfaction from taking care of someone who is vulnerable and need to be taken care of, but not the 24/7 needs of a child. Again, while sexual activity is not unheard of, it's more likely for someone who is taking care of a 'teenager little' than those who consider themselves grade school age. (Please keep in mind that this is a generalized description for brevity's sake, every dynamic has it's own characteristics.) While 'Sexual Torture' COULD involves pain, the category is much wider than that and would include things like deigned orgasm, forced orgasm, edging, teasing, tying someone to a chair and making them watch, caging and chastity apparatus. And that's just off the top of my head. It's a broad category and as mentally or physically unsettling as you wish to make it. As for the quiz, while it's a good place to start, as has been mentioned by others, it mainly deals with Power Exchange. There are many other kinks and fetishes (No, they are not the same thing) out there that can be enjoyable from both sides of the slash. My specialty isn't on the quiz at all, for example, but I have people line-up to get on my table when I'm at parties. Hope I was able to help a little. Thanks for exposing this (No pun intended) to more people, everyone should be able to explore what helps make them happy. Have a great day, be who you are and keep up the good work.
As someone who's never had sex nor been in a relationship, I found some of the questions hard to answer based on lack of experience. That being said: 100% switch, 92% voyeur, 88% masochist, and to contrast: 59% sadist, 37% exhibitionist. Seems about right, though I'd expect sadism to be slightly higher, and for voyeur and masochist to switch.
On the Ace spectrum but got curious; my top 5 are 100% switch, 99% rope bunny, 95% rigger, 88% vanilla, 63% sub. Found it interesting and shared it with my best friend out of curiosity.
i love this quiz a lot! i did it a while back with my boyfriend and we both got 100% switch with him being more dominant and me being more submissive hahaha
i remember when a friend (absolutely platonic) sent me this test along with his results then asked to see mine for fun and i did the test and then refused to show him because it was embarrassingly accurate (I'm not a sexual person and very private about that kind of thing)
I remember reading questions about voyerism and exhibitionists and thinking "I'm totally not gonna do anything to people without their consent, neither look or flash them". Have no idea what I would want, but strict morals not to do such things xD
Yeah, those are definitely more of a fantasy or an “ideal world with no laws” situation. In the results, they specify that it’s consensual. That’s the big thing. At least, that’s how I took it. But then I got 100% exhibitionist so 😂
@@FroZenMemes Nothing wrong with that!! I'm a woman but I believe all subs are wonderful and deserve love. 🥰 Nothing wrong with being a submissive man at all! 😊
Common misconception, bdsm is not always sexual! Evie lupine(here on yt) is asexual 😊 I'd describe bdsm as playing with psychology and the senses in a way that should be fulfilling for everyone involved 😍
Can’t tell you the joy I got when asked about torture your mind went straight to tease and denial play.... and you like that..... and you like bondage. So taking this test.
I love how open you are. I think your past and current partners are lucky to have been with you because you’re not afraid to share what you enjoy and are open about sexuality. Wish I was lucky enough to have been one of them. Oh well. Hope you and Dan have a happy life together!
I've got 99% brat and 99% switch ... and less than 50% vanilla ... this really opened my eyes omg and it makes so much sense for me! Really wish I would have taken this test sooner.
100% switch, 99% brat tamer, 99% rigger, 98% brat, 91% voyeur... switch and voyeur sure, but the rest surprised me. 7% masochist, 3% boy/girl, 0% slave, 0% degradee... only surprised by finding masochist so low. Funny thing is, I was doing the test parallel with the video and it felt like I answered most of it similarly to you, but then there was only one that actually came out with the same number, 40% sadist. Definitely interesting, thanks. Oh, and subscribed. Maybe I did it already, YoutTube is acting up these days, but now I made sure :) EDIT: Happy Birthday!
There's some more in-depth checklists available as well if you are interested. I myself know 2 good ones that go into more specific activities. This quiz a nice basis indeed, but the checklists are usually quite useful to have when you are in the BDSM community if you want to see whether your kinks actually match with someone (Assuming of course that you are into it)
Switch isn't necessarily about dominant or submissive. A lot of people forget you can also be a top or bottom, predator or prey... pretty much any spectrum of those terms
I can't get past the wrong answer you gave on question 4 (4:45~). The question was phrased negative, you agreed that you don't, but chose to disagree with the statement 🙈 and it ruins your whole percentages!
The use of whips to cause intense pain does not seem very attractive. But used in a way which is on the the edge of pain enhances sexual excitement. I don't know why but it works.
So as i watched this video, i kind of figured that i wanted to share my "kink" or "fetish". I haven't really told anyone other than my best friend about this, and was definitely not about to tell the entire internet about it, but off i go i guess! So the kink revolves around magazines. And i'm not talking about porn magazines, but regular household magazines. To be more specific; It's generally the genre of fashion magazines or womans magazines that i like. (i also like other "genres" like for example fitness magazines.) I really like to look at the pictures and see what the woman are wearing, and read about the fashion tips ect. It's alot more to it than just that, but i don't really know how i'd phrase that. (also english is my second language soooooo). I don't just like the fashion magazines though, occationally i find other magazines that is very much arousing to me. It can be anything from baking magazines to gradening magazines. While that's ture in it self, it's not like i'm actually about the get off to a picture in a magazine of a pile of flowers and a brand new hedge that you can buy for your own garden for only $89.99! No, like it's not like that. But that's kind of the entire idea of the "kink" / "fetish". It's more of like the feeling of the magazine. I'd say it's very much having to do with the paper quality and the glossy sort of cover on the magazine, aswell as on the pages inside the magazine. Also kind of the idea of holding it, folding it, and flipping through the glossy pages in the magazine. Personally i also really like the "fitness" magazines, but as i said, i like the idea of fashion magazines the best. I could also see myself liking the sort of "gossip" magazines or like the magazines about celebs and like the latest happening in the celeb world. However, there is a kind of funny thing about this "kink" / "fetish" that keeps happening. So whenever i go to stores, my friend's house or anywhere where there could be a magazine in sight, i immediately get aroused and i have to try and hide it from my friends, or generally just the people around me. Like imagine the cutest girl / guy you could think of, and have her / him look at you and wink and undress, and just all round make you feel a very certain feeling inside. Well that's kind of have i feel whenever i go out and see magazines around. It's even been so bad that it's led me to stealing. I haven't stolen much, but 3 magazines from people i know / their family, is more than i'd like to admit. For example, i was at my friends house once, and he was a relatively new friend of mine. It was the first time i was at his house, and when we were eating dinner with his mom and sisters, i noticed a pile of fitness magazines on the livingroom table, and was instantly like; "i need one of those magazines". Because i didn't really have any magazines myself at all. (because like at the time i didn't have the courage to go out to a store and actually buy a magazine, because it was scary to me). So when my friend was in the bathroom doing his own stuff, i snuck upstairs and took one of the magazines out of the pile, and snuck back down. I then slid it down into my backpack and later brought it home. Also; I'm a guy, and owning womans magazines is not something i'm typically showing off to anyone (so it would be like a private thing, just as it would be with sex toys ect.) so i would hide these magazines under my bed, so my parents would not find them. (i'm 18 so i still live with my parents, cause i go to school and all that.) And it's honestly quite scary to me, cause if they find a pile of womans fitness and fashion magazines under my bed it would be a lot harder to explain then just if they cuaght me watching porn or something. I don't know ahhah none of this has happened to me so i wouldn't know, but i can imagine it beeing alot more awkward. I could probably talk about this for hours, but i doubt lot's of people are gonna read this. If you found this somewhat interesting i would like to know what you think of this "kink" or "fetish".
😯Can't say I've heard of that one before but thank you for sharing your insights. 🙂 The way I think of kinks is that with ~8 billion of us odds are any conceivable kink there is someone that has it. 🤷♂️
@@daivahataka Yes, that's very true. Kind of embarrassed about mine though, because i've never actually heard of anyone having any sort of thing like it. But yeah, chances are, there are probably many many weirder kinks out there than mine.
I think a lot of us are ashamed of our kinks, afterall in many societies we're all taught that sex and anything to do with it is shameful. As long as it doesn't involve or harm anyone, or anything, else without their consent I don't think you have anything to be ashamed of. At a guess if your parents did find your stash they'd just think you found some of the women in them attractive and they'd be thankful it wasn't something hardcore.
@@daivahataka Yeah, that's very true. It's also very much like that at a younger age, because i remember feeling alot more ashamed and embarrassed about this like a year or two ago or something. And also, thanks. Your comment is quite reassuring, because thinking about it, my parents would never really freak out about anything like that. They're quite down to earth and all that.
More comfortable putting the mean 3 values up instead of the top 3 or bottom 3 but here they are: 66% Primal (Hunter) 58% Experimentalist 56% Exhibitionist
I'm only about halfway through the video but I wanted to say that this quiz can be quite difficult to navigate if you don't know a lot about BDSM already. I suggest watching milkwebs' video on it, she explains it really well. For example, the childlike questions don't necessarily mean in a sexual context. I'm a little in the caregiver/little community and those questions pertain to little space and CG/L essentially. They need to word these questions better so that people who aren't in the community can understand them. The ones that really piss me off are the voyeur questions because like yes, I love being watched and watching, but I'm not going to love it if the other people aren't consenting and intending to be there. Consent is so important. If you don't know what the questions really mean and what they're working towards, it can affect your score and it's dangerous for newbies to BDSM. It's a fun quiz but nobody should be taking it as absolute gospel as to what kinks they should try.
Well, as someone who has never been sexual with another person in any way, this quiz was a bit hard to take 😋. But I got: 92% voyeur 67% dominant 59% non-monogamist
asexuality doesn’t necessarily affect libido. personally (as an asexual) my libido is pretty low, so taking this test felt pretty weird but it was also kind of fun 😄
The questions about child appropriate activities is likely not a sexual question. Many "littles," either separate those activities, or are on the Ace spectrum.
My top ones were switch and rope bunny 🐰 I think it should include more kinks, but still interesting ^^ also I'm glad you were so open XD I did the quiz as soon as I clicked on the video, and I was wondering if you'd censor any out, but I was pleasantly surprised 😂
I took the test in February 2020. With my 2nd Dom now and have grown more in the lifestyle. My new Dom is good at controlling me. He is also training me in what was never gonna to trying those things. He controls what I wear in the real world and what he expects/demands in the bdsm world. Growing is part of this lifestyle.
This test was SUPER helpful to me when I had just dipped a toe into BDSM, but I don't put too much focus on it now, even though on sites like Fetlife people use it a lot in their bios. I guess it helps in the broad sense but it can be focused on too heavily and doesn't allow for much nuance. Plus it's missing a lot
Probably a good starting point yeah, interesting about Fetlife! I guess because it’s such a well known test it makes communication about it easier but yeah you’re right that if you’re actually getting down to a negotiation/scene you need a lot more nuance.
Top 3 90% - Voyeur 84% - Vanilla 56% - Boy/Girl Bottom 4 all with 0% Primal (Prey) Degrader Brat Tamer Ageplayer What I'm getting from this quiz is that I'm not really into the whole BDSM thing, which I kind of knew anyway but it's fun to put some numbers to it. Of the 25 categories I had 4 that were over 50% and 9 that were under 10%. 84% vanilla sounds about right, generally keep things pretty straightforward but not necessarily all the time.
My upper 5 for my most recent quiz here was: Switch, Experimentalist, Dominant, Rope Bunny, Rigger and my lower 5 were Ageplayer, Non-Monogamist, Slave, Voyeur, Exhibitionist. I shared upper and lower 5 instead of 3 because I like the name "Rope Bunny" too and wanted to include it xD 18:51
@EYRM9 Thank you for sharing Bible verses, but kinks are not inherently sexual sin. If someone has a tickle torture kink, then I don't believe this is against God. Similarly, having a consensual scene with light bondage doesn't seem sinful either.
I love this test, i did it in my first year of uni with my friends but yh it does only include a few kinks, it's not very expansive (personally I'm pretty kinky, there's not much I'm not into)
My top 5 was: 97% Switch, 73% Voyeur, 72% Non-Monogamist, 61% Experimentalist, 60% Primal (Hunter) 🤔 I'm actually surprised with the Primal and Non-Monogamist percentage.
So as several other people pointed out this quiz is a good intro quiz, but it mainly focuses on power dynamics. Also, as several other people pointed out ageplay/Littling isn't always sexual. It's actually one of my top 3 categories (alongside Rope Bunnying), but it doesn't have anything to do with sex for me. If anything, it has to do with processing childhood trauma and rebuilding safety and trust for a fractured part of my psyche, which probably means it doesn't have to do with the kink community at all. That being said, the kink community was what allowed me to find that healing space, AND it's also a common misconception that being a Little is the result of trauma specifically. Long story short, this quiz is fine and fun to take now and again to see how your tastes change, but it's lacking in certain areas for sure. Also, if people want to relax and be kids again in the privacy of their own home every now and again that doesn't make them monsters or sexual deviants. Life is hard, people. Soft things are nice, coloring is relaxing, and tutus are cute.
Top level seens reasonable... 99% Vanilla 76% voyeur 75% Non-monogamist 58% Experimentalist And the bottom part is really accurate 0% Degrader 0% Owner 0% Sadist P.s.: I love the idea of the series. It is nice to be presented to concepts around sexuality, which may help to better understand myself around it.
Ok, I didn't read all the comments so: That part that talks abt coloring, and being child- like, that is called being a "Little". Everyone that has a "little" is a bit different just like people are. "Littles" are mainly for females (i guess there could be a male little). They come in different ages and different likes. For some, it's a more "sexualized" things, for others it's all part of everyday life. Yours sounds like it's part of everyday life.
Hey, I would like to just say that Ace-spectrum people can be into bdsm (source: I'm grey-ace and super kinky). A lot of people think of bdsm as a sex thing, and while it is for a lot of people, there's a lot more to it than that. to me kink is relaxing, empowering, thrilling, intimate, and a whole lot of things that have nothing to do with sex

This quiz has a lot of the basic overarching archetypes, but indeed it misses out a lot of actual kinks and fetishes.
Any suggestion for a more detailed quiz? I remember there was one around, but I also remember it is now defunct (I don't remember the name, apologies.)
@@YensR would like more quizzes too! :)
This happened to me and my partner, 3 years and live together lol
Didnt know this existed till a couple years ago wish we did one for our class 😂
this also happened at some places i was at too. would recommend
That's brilliant 😂
K Steck45 our high school too!
Love your videos ☺️
Also, for anyone who’s interested in a further breakdown of the test, Amp and Mr, Kristopher took this test and gave their opinion on their kink and sex education channel, Watts The Safeword. ua-cam.com/video/wLsFqHdl62Y/v-deo.html
def all of this! it's a solid starting point but misses quite a few things and nuance
Another answer to this quiz from BDSM Educator Evie Lupine with some comments on the wording on some of the questions:

Agreed, I used to be a foot fetish 'muse', I wonder if I should do it again.
THIS!!! So much this. I've been into fetish/BDSM/Leather fire many years. I'm so glad I found this in the comments.
Getting a 100% vanilla result from this test, and 98% on a previous one, gives me a pretty good idea that i don't really need a more in depth test.

Your friends don't sound very nice.
I'm 100% vanilla, but i've talked to plenty of kinky people about BDSM and kinks.
Someone should make a dating app wheren you can/have to answer this quiz and then they show you a percentage of sexual compatibility whilst swiping/viewing their profile.
This is too good of an idea, not to exist.
Sexual compatibility des NOT become a factor until after you find yourself attracted to another - you can't take a quiz and get-around the shallow-part of dating.
that is part of this quiz already
I had my results in my tinder bio for a couple of months until I got censored haha, now I have them blurred, so if you know, you can ask
Super interesting quiz, might need to get my partner to do it too...
yes definitely get your partner to do it! I think I made Dan do it once but I don't remember his results so will have to get him to do it again.

^^THIS is important.^^
I thought BDSM stood for Been Doing Sex Monthly.
lol
My whole friendship group took this quiz and it was really fun as we all shared our results and they have resulted in a lot of inside jokes between us. It was also really informative and surprising too to find out things that you wouldn’t have suspected from people.
_Not MY kink, but_ : The "acting like a child; colouring book etc"-thing wouldn't necessarily be sexual (it might be for some people, which, ew); BDSM isn't *just* about sex, it can be about broader dynamics in the relationship. But BDSM is so broad that it's often interpreted differently I suppose.
It’s a common misconception I personally when I’m tired or upset regress in my speech and I am happier doing more simple activities like colouring or watching children’s films and want to be taken care by my partner of sex is like the furthest thing from my mind but my dominant needs to be able to handle that shift but also want to
I was with you until you said "ew" as that is kink shaming.
So, I have done this test twice(?) Once when I was 18 (before having a long term relationship) and once just now (aged 20, and in a long term relationship)
when I was 18 my results were: Brat, Masochist, Pet
and at 20, my results are: Rope bunny, Brat, Pet and Experimental (with the same percentage)
It's really interesting how your answers change over time
I was 98% brat, and 73% submissive - those were my top two!

_100% / 100% / 100% / 100%?_
So, percentage matters?
😊😊😊😊
I think "owner" here might be meant as the opposite of "pet", not the opposite of "slave"? I've heard both though. But it would explain why slave was higher up than owner for you, since you expressed no interest in pet play.
Yeah that makes sense!
Correct. Master/mistress is the counterpart to slave.
My all-time favorite shirt had "S & M?" on the front and "Beats me" on the back
Being a kinky person, I try to redo this quiz every year! It’s a good generic type of guide to use as reference.
Top 3. Brat, non-monogamist, submissive.
Bottom 3. Sadist, degrader, degradee.
I currently only have one partner but we are both polyamorous and his results definitely line up appropriately with mine 😅
Currently as in you would like to test somthing else while still dating him.
Very much Vanilla but also 63% Voyeur which I found very interesting. I really like personality tests so I'm very excited for this series :)
You should definitely do it again!
Yeah, doing it again, especially if you feel you as a person or even the way you act in some contexts have changed, or if you've thought or experimented some more, can be really interesting. I do it regularly (for context: I am in the lifestyle though, and it's a very big part of my daily life), mostly as an excuse to think about and question myself a bit because I suck at doing it on my own and have a really hard time figuring out what I like
Top 3: 98% switch, 97% vanilla 😂 67% dominant! Not mad at it!!
“Everyone’s different, even the ones who don’t have anything different about us” 😂😂😂
I've taken this test probably like 20 times over the last four years just because I like seeing my interests change. Turns out I've always been kinky but I still got even kinkier.

97% Masochist
91% Submissive
74% Voyeur
71% Primal (Prey)

(Please keep in mind that this is a generalized description for brevity's sake, every dynamic has it's own characteristics.)
While 'Sexual Torture' COULD involves pain, the category is much wider than that and would include things like deigned orgasm, forced orgasm, edging, teasing, tying someone to a chair and making them watch, caging and chastity apparatus.

That being said: 100% switch, 92% voyeur, 88% masochist, and to contrast: 59% sadist, 37% exhibitionist. Seems about right, though I'd expect sadism to be slightly higher, and for voyeur and masochist to switch.

For the questions touching feminism watch Stoya's interview on Vice (like 6 years ago).
Which questions?
Sexual torture usually implies edging but I agree the question is a little too vague
There's some more in-depth checklists available as well if you are interested. I myself know 2 good ones that go into more specific activities. This quiz a nice basis indeed, but the checklists are usually quite useful to have when you are in the BDSM community if you want to see whether your kinks actually match with someone (Assuming of course that you are into it)
Well, what are these checklists called?
Switch isn't necessarily about dominant or submissive. A lot of people forget you can also be a top or bottom, predator or prey... pretty much any spectrum of those terms

The way I think of kinks is that with ~8 billion of us odds are any conceivable kink there is someone that has it.
4:00 Hannah's true kink.
But I got:
92% voyeur
67% dominant
59% non-monogamist
asexuality doesn’t necessarily affect libido. personally (as an asexual) my libido is pretty low, so taking this test felt pretty weird but it was also kind of fun 😄
I'm definitely a sub, but I should still take this quiz.

56% - Boy/Girl
Bottom 4 all with 0%

Brat Tamer
Ageplayer
What I'm getting from this quiz is that I'm not really into the whole BDSM thing, which I kind of knew anyway but it's fun to put some numbers to it.
Of the 25 categories I had 4 that were over 50% and 9 that were under 10%.
84% vanilla sounds about right, generally keep things pretty straightforward but not necessarily all the time.
*cough*
Switch: 98%
Rope Bunny: 97%
Experimentalist: 84%
why is my strongest reaction to this (as an American) "THAT'S how British people pronounce urinal!?"
Slightly concerned about all the pervy men making comments here
I'm not strongly into BDSM but I
i'm STRONGLY INTO QUIZZES 👏
Ooh, the quiz has changed pretty heavily since I last took it. To be fair, that probably was like 3-ish years ago now...
Yes, I also love answering quizzes. The interesting thing is how differently we interpret the questions sometimes.
I like two kinks: Ray and Dave.
"Anyone else who is willing to share their top 3 or bottom 3"
I see what you did there 😜
At times I feel like I shouldn't be watching these videos at work.
Rice purity test gonna come up?
I'd love for you to do this again with Dan answering! Would be interesting to see how similar/different you two are. If he consents of course 😂
Top level seens reasonable...
99% Vanilla
76% voyeur
75% Non-monogamist
58% Experimentalist
And the bottom part is really accurate
0% Degrader
0% Owner
0% Sadist
P.s.: I love the idea of the series. It is nice to be presented to concepts around sexuality, which may help to better understand myself around it.
I just can't stop thinking of that "stop kinkshaming me" "kinkshaming is my kink" vine
Ok, I didn't read all the comments so:
That part that talks abt coloring, and being child- like, that is called being a "Little". Everyone that has a "little" is a bit different just like people are.
"Littles" are mainly for females (i guess there could be a male little). They come in different ages and different likes. For some, it's a more "sexualized" things, for others it's all part of everyday life.
Yours sounds like it's part of everyday life.
Is that how everyone over there pronounces "urinal"? I love finding out stuff like that, lol
Question: What kinks do I like?
Answer: Just about any version of the band when a youthful Eric Clapton was their guitarist!
Nice!
#team96%vanilla 😂
Hey, I would like to just say that Ace-spectrum people can be into bdsm (source: I'm grey-ace and super kinky). A lot of people think of bdsm as a sex thing, and while it is for a lot of people, there's a lot more to it than that. to me kink is relaxing, empowering, thrilling, intimate, and a whole lot of things that have nothing to do with sex
