Another great video, Craig, thanks. I've always registered for Americade and enjoyed the access to demo rides, tour expo and all the other activities available but my most favorite activity that I do often is walking up and down Canada Street looking at the bikes assembled and individual owners creativity. Take care, ride safe and hope to see you there.
Great Topic and SPOT on about Americade! I've only gone once in 2022, but have not ruled it out as a return rally, mainly because of proximity to Buffalo. Where was that bike night on the Blvd? FreeFree and I were looking for you yesterday at Cycle Gear. Enjoy Lake George my friend.
Hey Jeff. I must have just missed you and Free at Cycle Gear. I was there with my wife. She rides a Spyder. We only stayed about 30 minutes. At Americade they line the bikes up every night on Canada Street. Ride safe. Oh. The Rockford Fosgate subwoofer sounds great!
@@craighanesworth We got there late. I got the Honda CBR1000 started so I rode it out there. We found a parking spot on Canada Street when we went. Thanks for the view of my speaker too! 💪💪
I’ve gone the last 2 years my son and I do AC and heating and unfortunately the other rallies are in the summer .We did make it to loconia in 2017 but we could only take Friday off so to go there every year would be to much for basically 2 days americade is closer to home which is Long Island . I do agree totally with you it is expensive and to charge to go into the vendor area is ridiculous but like you said the food the riding make it enjoyable. Be safe and have a great rally
Great video, and not unlike life, these rally's are what you make it. Go relax and be receptive to a good time. I love riding in that area and prefer to go when the rally isn't present. That said, I am up for a ride in from NYC just to meet up for a meal a lay over, then the ride back before the rally and all of the other motorcyclist get out of dodge.
Excellent perspectives about Americade. Always sad to hear Swan Songs of once awesome Rally’s. I’ll still be a fan of any Rally I may go to. What jacket are you wearing Craig? Looks nice.
I am wearing a street speed leather jacket. It's very nice. It is also ventilated so it flows some air when it gets warm out. I did a short video on it about a year ago
I agree - parking pass, 1 day of vendor, and that’s it. I can do demo rides at local dealers any time. I’d rather ride the area during the day and people/bike watch on the main drag in the evening.
It's actually a rally for people who enjoy motorcycles and talking to people who ride. You can demo bikes all day and enjoy some nice roads. Part of the proceeds for the day pass go to charity btw. See you there! I'm giving a talk on Weds at 5pm if you're around.
I want to get some shorty pipes on my 2023 Indian scout rogue. But I am driving my bike, can they do that and mail my original pipes back to my home address?
No Goldwing? This year. No trailer? This year. This is my 32nd straight Americade (I went even the year of Covid when they canceled it). Talk about changes over the years. Early on my hotel would have 40+ Goldwings, last year me and one Goldwing trike. For me, It may be coming to a close after this year. 😢
@@robertlorentz3670 Congrats on 32 years Robert! Along with many great things in the US. We are the generation that help foster a vibrant culture to motorcycle Rally’s. We be the Boomers! With the ever popular Wing Ding gone and Americade sounding like it’s singing it’s Swan Song is sad to hear. The country is changing. But that’s another video/channel 😢 Sounds like Rally’s need a little F6B_Adventures action to stir things up just a bit. 😂
A lot of helpful info. Admittedly, I’ve never had the desire to attend and your tips have solidified my decision. Thanks for sharing. Ride Safely!
Excellent overview, there should be no surprises now. You've covered everything !!

I agree with you. I love just grabbing a chair at night on Canada Street and watching the bikes go by. Hope to see you there as well!!

It is very expensive for everything. Even have to pay to enter the "Vendors Area." Not for me.

No Goldwing this year. Just thought I'd change it up this time. Goldwing will return to Lake George in 2025 😂
How will you pack without the Goldwing pulling the trailer??
@@robertlorentz3670 It will be tough but somehow I will make it work!

RG, I'm also crossing the finish line of 70 years old this summer. But trying to live the life of a 60 year old 😃 😁
I live 1hr away amd wont go.
The place isnt that special and charging for everything that should be free is unethical.
