AMTZ - Little known contribution of Chandrababu to the Medical Devices Sector

- During his first stint as Chief Minister of the bifurcated Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu conceived and founded in 2016 Andhra Pradesh Medical Technology Zone (AMTZ), a first-of-its-kind medical devices manufacturing cluster in the country. AMTZ's contribution to tackling Covid-19 by suppling PPE kits, masks and ventilators is little known. The facility presently houses more than 140 companies that manufacture from masks to MRI machines.
