    I know about the first way. That's what I've been using. The second way is new to me. I think the second way looks better. I'm going to start doing it that way now. Thank you.

    I like the second method better I used to have a serger but I end up selling it because I didn’t like it is too complicated to deal with so I prefer to do my clothing finishes this way! I was used to doing the first method but after seeing this the second way I love it it looks just like a serger🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

    I was thinking of ways I can sew the hem on my pleated skirt that I will cut. I thought, I do not know how to overlock the edges. This will definitely do the trick. Thank you!!!

    Thanks i have similar machine janome 2200xt. I normally used the zigzag but thanks for the trrick on the 2nd method. Am sticking to it and pack my overlock machine for now 😊

    Hi Dami. Another excellent video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. The 2nd demonstration using zig zag stitch looks similar to the finish you get using a small rolled foot.

    I use an overlock foot, and it makes it more simpler because it folds the fabric as it sews.

    I think the 2nd looks good and is cleaner because I believe the 2nd foot you show maybe a server foot/or a foot that can be used if trying to achieve the server look because the foot basically grabs the edge of the material and creates a fold to sew over.
