"You don't have to be rich to have a clean project." Love that. ✊
🦾🦾🙏🏼💕💕
So relatable for so many people trying to start out ❤️
been using the first method and was already thinking of purchasing a serger...but with the 2nd method not anymore..God bless you😙
So it’s just a folded hem with zig zag stitch on top? It was hard to see what she was doing
serendipidus1 thank you for explaining, I’ll try it!
I'll be an expert sewer in no time if I stick with you!
So true
I know about the first way. That's what I've been using. The second way is new to me. I think the second way looks better. I'm going to start doing it that way now. Thank you.
Good. Thanks for watching;)
I've stopped sewing adult clothing because I wasn't able to have a clean finish. I am going to try this option. Thank you for sharing this video :)
- Michelle
I really like both of them. I suppose it will depend on the material I use. Another great video. Thank you. ❤
the second option is awesome! Great tutorial, thank you!
I love the way you talk, so calming but also so uplifting
I loved the second one,if i had seen this tutorial before i would not have bought a serger.
I was about to buy a serger... Not anymore! Thank you for sharing this, you're great!
I like the second method better I used to have a serger but I end up selling it because I didn’t like it is too complicated to deal with so I prefer to do my clothing finishes this way! I was used to doing the first method but after seeing this the second way I love it it looks just like a serger🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I just bought one too k is so complicated 😩
Thanks Dami !!! I love the 2nd method !! You are awesome 😍 please upload more videos on sewing.....I love the way you are detailing everything !!!!
Thank you. Do check my channel for so many sewing videos, and more coming up!
Hi it was more convenient in our eyes if it is not against the light on your tutorial 😊 but I love it ❤ even it was so hard to see because the thread and fabric are almost same colors. Thank you for the tutorial.
Great Video. Saved me buying a couple of new machine feet like an over locker foot and the fold and seam foot. Thank you.
Wow. I have the same machine. Not exactly the same brand but the stitches are literally the same. It's great to see what's possible with limited options.
Fabulous! - FINALLY…… thank you so much - Georgia from Canada
Thanks for watching, warm welcome my channel 🤗
Just like the way you explain sewing methods 💕
Thank you! I really like the second option, I tried the 1st option and don’t like that finish.
You are simply the best dear. God bless you and bless the day I came I came across your videos.
I was thinking of ways I can sew the hem on my pleated skirt that I will cut. I thought, I do not know how to overlock the edges. This will definitely do the trick. Thank you!!!
The second one is my choice, thank you very much young lady
Thank you so much!! My edges still look a little rough but this helped me so much ❤️
2nd option is really good. Thanks for sharing!
Definitely the second one! Looks really good!
Thanks i have similar machine janome 2200xt. I normally used the zigzag but thanks for the trrick on the 2nd method. Am sticking to it and pack my overlock machine for now 😊
I knew about the first method but the second method is new to me. I will try that next time. 😊
I have been binge watching your videos. Found you with your bodice drafting video and subscribed straight away. You are awesome! I’ve learned so much and will be referencing again and again. So professional, I’m astonished.
Thank you and welcome to my channel 🤗
Aww, thanks. I make use of the first method but now this second method is bae. Let me put aside my overlocking machine. 😋😋😋💃💃💃💃.
Great tip!...my serger seized up on me last minute and I had to finish up a garment without it. This really helped thanks!
Hi Dami. Another excellent video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. The 2nd demonstration using zig zag stitch looks similar to the finish you get using a small rolled foot.
I use an overlock foot, and it makes it more simpler because it folds the fabric as it sews.
Good job..the right foot creates professional garments👏
thank you for this!! i had no idea it would be this easy!
Nice video. White thread is hard to see. If you could do the video with light fabric and dark thread it would be helpful. Thank you.
Thanks Dami. That is why I so much love Dami. My question is did u also use zigzag stitches in the second method!?
Yes. I used same settings on both methods.
@@DamiDimension hello, just watched your video and I have learnt from it
U did a great job I must confess
I tried both methods and I prefer the second method. Thank you
Wow the second looks so clean!
That's beautiful. I'm surely going to try that. Thanks for the video.
Great tutorial, second method is brilliant but I imagine it takes a lot of practice!
I loved the second method !!! 💗💗💗Thanks queen 😭
Love this. I think I will try the second one. It looks very clean. Thank you for sharing!
Excellent instructions. I have a very similar machine. Can’t wait to try this new method!
Awesome! Second one for sure.
I think the 2nd looks good and is cleaner because I believe the 2nd foot you show maybe a server foot/or a foot that can be used if trying to achieve the server look because the foot basically grabs the edge of the material and creates a fold to sew over.
This is amazing Dami! Thank you so much, you're a lifesaver 💕💕
Loved the second method.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾great explanation I
Needed this!!!
Very creative!
Thanks for the tip.. I was looking for serger already but will try this one first.. God Bless..
