- Feelings. I found myself in place of sorrow. I found myself in a place of grief. At first, I didn’t have language for it. All I knew was that something was off and I couldn’t trace it back to any misstep I took. I couldn’t trace it back to anything that I've done.
Through this process, I’ve learned how to suffer with Him. How to join Him in the fellowship of His suffering. That’s what this album is about. That’s what these songs are about. My process of lament. My process of suffering with Him. Being able to feel my feelings, but not lean on them.

Dear Lord,
I pray for the person reading this right now. I pray that you will help them with the struggles they are going through in this season. For you know exactly what they need in this moment. Draw near to them and let them feel your presence. Open their eyes, ears, and hearts to you. Help them have the discernment to hear your voice as you lead them in their next steps. Speak to them as they read your word and bring verses of encouragement and comfort to their attention. I pray that you will calm any fear or anxiety they may be feeling. Replace it with the confidence to obey your word and to trust you. I pray that your guidance will be clear to them from this day forward.

Bro, this project is creating such a healthy space for our generation, for me fam. I appreciate how God is using you to plant your feet and challenge modern church traditions of emoting. I see the body of Christ needs a new relationship with emotions, which is actually the old (biblical) relationship we had with feelings (e.g., Job, Psalms, Lamentations, Jeremiah...). This project lays out a pretty honest doxology that revives these ancient forms of “valley worship.” Kudos big bro.

the timing of this🥺 i don’t have the language to express all of my feelings...learning how not to suffer alone...trusting that God is right in the suffering with me💔 i just lost my second son 2 weeks ago. my firstborn passed away 1 year ago. my sons dying back to back has really wrecked my mind, my soul... my heart, my faith. i listened to maverick city the last 2 months, over & over...wanting to work through some of this brokenness & hold onto something. Chandler, your voice shot through the dark that i often feel surrounds me. God is using you. i heard about feelings the night before my sons funeral, so 5 days ago. i have been patiently waiting for this. i’m not sure what i’m expecting but i know God’s timing is never off😭💔

Then we bully those who are suffering emotionally by telling them they don’t have enough faith. Thank you for providing a language for what the church is unwilling to confront, our feelings, a practice that has made us less human and less useful to the souls we are trying to reach. I have been endured years of inner turmoil and Friday march 10,2023 after dropping my daughter to school I took a me time to praise the Lord. the past week I was feeling all type a way in my emotions and I search Chandler Moore on spotify and I founded chandler had a new album and i take the time to listen to feelings I was Oh Lord That the song I was supposed to listen right now. Chandler this album is my album.
How beautiful expression of our human condition. Imperfect and constantly trying to live our lives under our will instead of his. We get disappointed so easy because things don’t go our way. I’m taking in every single word of this expression from a broken heart.

I have been struggling with the new world we live in and realizing how isolated we have become, it has dawned on me that for the first time in my life I am becoming depressed. I found maverick city music and used that as an anchor to not allow myself to fall deeper into the abyss. When I heard about this album I was so excited! This moved me. I decided to start all over again in loving myself. The traumas I've been through over the years has scared me so much that I lost myself and couldn't see myself going forward anymore. I lacked self confidence, self esteem and self acceptance. All about SELF was just in the negative. Today, I came upon this and kept replaying to meditate. Father I thank you for allowing me to be able to have feelings but not lean on them, it took me a second to realize that God actually brought me here and brought this video up in suggestions for me. I was just feeling off.. sometimes there’s like this inward sorrow I feel and it scares me bc it’s what always leads me back down the wrong path and habits of coping. But I didn’t want to do that I’m trying to grow in him, with him. So I come to UA-cam to find a worship song to lift my self up and hopefully improve my feelings.. I was gonna press in ya know... bc he always comes when we praise.. but what if he’s here now in the silence with me and my feelings that I run from. I’ve never known how to just feel with the Lord without leaving his presence. I think this is him saying you will begin to today.. I’m gonna treasure these words I really needed them. I pray they produce much fruit and that I don’t try to hard to just be with him but that it would just flow. Lord teach me to suffer with you and not outside of you. In all things anxiety sorrow pain etc whatever roots still trigger soul help me to rest.
