Love the videos just wanted to say thank for all I have done got out of military went down a dark path become homeless with my family, just kept working for it now I own a house and just bought a 24 gmc 2500hd (journey man fitter)
You are the only framer that I have ever seen use a bunch to put the nails past flush on the wood... My dad had me help him from when I was 10, go to new construction sites and he would constantly complain how the previous framers don't care about their field because they would leave nails and screws sticking out. My dad was a drywaller for 35 years then moved to installing the bullnose on corners. But if my dad saw you he would sake your hand and thank you for doing your job right. Thank You... ^_^
I hate wearing a tool belt too. I am a general contractor and I have worked on sites where the other guys raz me and tell me you cant build without a tool belt.... and my response is always "Don't tell that to the last 7 clients I just built homes for". I may spend a little extra time looking for the tool I set down and forgot.... but at least I dont have sore hips and red shoulders from the suspenders.
If they need new shelves that would be their problem. I would bring all their stuff back and say here. Those shelves were red neck rigged to the wall from the start.
I have a similar clip on pouch that also has a belt loop from Home Depot. It has a built in magnet for hardware and it holds my square perfectly! Highly recommend it for the $10-$15 range. I use it more than my tool belt since it’s so convenient.
I don’t live in California. I have no idea of how businesses can survive there. The expense of getting this building renovated, including the added expense of redoing the neighboring business has to be astronomical. Then, even if they sell the pizza for $30 a pie, the profit can’t be more than $20 each. Pay the employees at least $15hr. minimum wage, employee taxes, Heat/AC, electric, water, sewage, B&O taxes, City taxes, State taxes. If the business stays popular, I can see being into the black in 30 years or so.
I’m with ya I’ve been doing carpenter work for 27 years and don’t wear a full tool belt. They bad for ya back and shoulders and when you are in and out of small spaces you have to take on and off
When you're done with that building the restaurant just do an anonymous call in to the fda on the liquor store with picture evidence. Explain your "health" concers to them and let them take it from there. 😂
40 years in construction, only use a nail pouch (same small one) when I don’t have a choice. Hammer hoop on the shorts is ok… works but harder to use over metal one that attaches to the belt.
I feel the same way about tool bags. And I’m a bigger guy. I found the Toughbuilt pouches and actually really like them. You put a clip on your belt and the pouch quick connects on and off the clip. I’ve got like 4 different pouches I switch between depending on the job
They think all dudes wearing tool belts have a 44 inch waist. I used to run into the same issues had to cut belts down, punch new holes. Worked general construction for 12 years. Had a double pouch set up with suspenders for framing and a single pouch for small stuff or punch outs.
Healthcode requires shelving to be 18 inches from the wall. Now technically speaking the code specifies 18" from exterior walls I have heard anything from 3-6 inches from the wall for food storage. Regardless of the actual distance shelves used for food storage are not meant to be touching the wall, I wouldn't build them new shelves as the gap is actually supposed to be there.
Watching you and your fellow workers move that large order of lumber made me sweat because that is what I do at my job I deliver lumber to job sites with a flatbed truck and moffet!
tool belts are a pain. i wear a tool belt when working on fence in the farm for holding staples, pliers, and a hammer or if im doing some odd job like electrical where i have like 2-3 tools im contantly changing from, otherwise i try to wear carpenter pants with a hammer loop and like a pocket for pliers and just a regular belt to hook a tape on. the full tool bag is for like pro frames who only frame cause most jobs you can leave stuff in the tool box until needed not need to wear the toolbox.
@@waltermila yessir, love them. I have friends who are super close with the guys from common kings. And I started listening to Fiji back in the day when I saw Junior Seau hanging out with them.
Ryan not sure if anyone else has asked this yet, but is that your Milwaukee miter saw that you dropped off the hunting blind? Or is that Dave's. And have you bought a new one yet, or does it still cut straight🤔 just remember that😂
Ryno I am the same way with a tool bag. I went to a tool vest. They are a game changer. I feel like everyone should use them. It made me 10 times more efficient. A use a Atlas 46 vest. Not associated with hate the company love the vest. Been following your youtube for long time never miss a video. Love all your videos
Is that alcohol been a food only a California thing or do they do it in other states, because that makes no sense since alcohol kills batería, like if it’s humid on the other side of the wall and you leave bread on the shelf yea it would mold faster but there nothing that could make alcohol in an unopened container go bad.
I’m just trying to see if this is a bit there’s a lot of things that don’t look to be up to code on there and before you guys started all this work. And is the room where all this alcohol stored at least have air-conditioning or is it hot? I’m not sure if his customers know how this stuff is stored
I’m just saying if any of you want to see some more one on one videos with a lot more perks go become a channel member! *cough cough* shameless plugs here

That’s awesome brother! Congrats on making it through!
That’s Crazy God is good never give up

Bruh it was crazy how the Lumber truck dropped it off

Love the truck videos but I very much enjoy the ranch and construction videos. Keeps the channel fresh and interesting.
Those people are taking advantage of yall. You need to put a stop to it or your going to be guilted into fixing their stuff for free.
They really drop lumber like that doesn’t it get damaged or no😂😂
If they need new shelves that would be their problem. I would bring all their stuff back and say here. Those shelves were red neck rigged to the wall from the start.
Healthcode actually requires a gap from the wall if the shelves are used for food storage, and that does include "dry goods".
This is my favorite channel never the same thing thank you for what you do
Ryan, y'all are killing it! Keep up the hard work 💪🏻
Man I thought WV reg and laws was crazy. California regulations and laws are off the chart
You should look into the tough built pouch system, fantastic stuff for just a few tools and the quick disconnect is really nice option

Placed an order for a pair of heat wave's. Thanks for the discount!
Got the Island Reggae going in the background!
The paint I call bullshit, the shelves I can see because an 1 1/2" is big enough for a bottle to fall through.

It’s coming along nicely!
Is that really how they allways drop the load of lumber off? WTH.... That seems a little unprofessional lol
@@nathanwoten6236 haha ya that’s pretty standard. The trucks are designed for that
Haha, that's why they call it a lumber drop! Notice expensive shit like TJI's are on the top!
Well i hope some petty person reports that business because they have food near all that block wall that isnt painted!!
Great video as always

Hammer loop and snack carrier
Hey you can get leather hammer loop that goes on your pants belt. Keep up the great content

i'm pretty sure i've seen plenty of liquor stores with solid block walls that have no coating on them. and i live in commiefornia.
I see you RYNO, who is playing Fiji Common Kings J Boog in the background?

@DMAXRYNO that's awesome sending love from SLC UTAH your Tongan brotha!

The mudder?? lol how about the finisher!!
Probably be easier putting a food grade ✌️😢✌️ Flamika backing on the shelves so the bottles don't fall behind and break.
The liquor store owner should be paying for all the labor you have done that is not part of the building/ code or your side

You should make your own tool belt to cater to what is comfortable to you
That's gotta be the dumbest way to deliver dimensional lumber I've ever seen.
What compressor are you guys using for the nailer
You get more with sugar than salt
Very nice!
Punching in nails. I'm impressed. Never considered that
I've framed houses all my life. Now I'm 62 , paslode spike guns nail much better. You won't have to hand drive nails to set near as much

Get a portacool and you can hook a hose to it and it has a flot on it.
This one has a hose connection
Ryno is that the same miter saw that fell from the hunting blind?
Negative. This one’s Dave’s
WHY CARN,T I STOP SEEING #JOE EXOTIC?? lmao keep up great content guy,s 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Where’s the Denali
Yoooo what's sup Ryno hope all is well
I've seen you do this several times. Why don't you "chop down" through the board verse the back and forth cutting you do as you come down?
It’s easier on the saw and less prone to binding when we go back and forth specifically on larger lumber
Is that piece of tape on left side of your circular saw covering the dust port because it blows right in your face?
Yup! I hate that dust port
For real. It's infuriating.
Put a gas pump handle on the hose for Dave so it auto shuts off
Sounds like they are taking advantage of ya. It's their problem
Ryno. Please don’t hold the trigger down on a nail gun when your body can take a blow through. I’ve heard too many stories man.
Does Dave ever wear a shirt
👍👍

Why not wear a tool vest? It’s supposed to be better for people who can’t wear a tool belt
