This is exactly why fast fashion sucks, people a hundred years ago or so just got all their clothes tailored and yeah they paid more money for a garment, but they had less clothes in general that were all really well made and perfectly fitted and I think this should be the norm again because not only would it help the planet but I would not have to feel disappointed after trying on clothes I ordered that fit me weirdly
Because these are exceptional cases, you can't adjust whole clothing industry to make clothes just to fit few customers. That's what the individual tailoring is for. I understand your point, I myself can't find clothes or gear that I would like, there's always some features missing or too much.
Tape the top part with fashion tape. Doesn’t only make it safe to bend forward but you can also decide the shape of it (to make it look nicer). That’s how I wear dresses like that as a fellow flat chested

Most tops are designed with the chest area to be roomy to leave a gap for boobs to fit in. If you're flat as a board like me and the girl in the video though, it's impossible to fill out that space unless you have the piece altered.

it is easier tho. if you have a small chest u have infinitely more options. HOWEVER, just bc it's easier doesn't mean it's easy, im sure it's definitely still a struggle and that's valid. but most clothes are geared towards smaller people with smaller chests
@@wordswarsandsymphonies A "small chest" is different from a "flat chest" though. Other than the simple t-shirt, there are little to no clothes that are designed for girls as flat as a board. Most tops are designed with the chest area to be roomy to leave a gap for boobs to fit in. If you're flat as a board like me and the girl in the video though, it's impossible to fill out that space unless you have the piece altered.

Honestly, I am at the point where I just want to make my own clothes, and I have the opposite problem. If it fits my shoulders, it doesn't fit my bust, if it fits my bust, it doesn't fit my shoulders. I don't even try to look for a flattering waist anymore because it just looks like I'm wearing a bag from my below my bust to my hips.

Im sorry this keeps happening to you, the thing is, even when scaling to the smallest sizes, the patterns are usually crafted with considerations for a B cup :/ and its even more noticable with a dress with this specific cut.
im a B cup (on the smaller Asian scale) and honest to god i've tried on (much cheaper) dresses that have a similar cut to OP's video and i still look like shit in them smh. I've come to a conclusion that clothes that have a wide neck/showy on the chest area just aren't it for anyone within the itty bitty community :/

It looks good on you! The straps should be altered shorter for you. All you need is some Hollywood tape to keep the dress snug to the chest. Clothes should be made to fit us, not the other way around! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Totally get it 😭 something I've learned though is that clothes are made for a general body shape, And it's a lot better to get your clothes altered and it isn't actually as expensive as you would think! I still haven't done it myself but I really need to get my jeans altered because I have no assatol 🙃
