Really recommend ice for back/sciatica pain. It has helped me and the pain has minimized.

Good day. I had a sliped disc , herniated disc for more than 5 years at my L5/S1 region. Chiropractic care didnt help nothing but i went to see a diffrent chiro and he put me on traction tht helped alot. The stiffness would come back though days but i kept going to gym. I've been icing it and been stretching the QL and psoas muscles with rest and feels finally like its getting well. Have good ROM again. Icing and stretch is good right

Hi. Have had sciatic pain now for the last three days. Am on prescribed diazapam, difene and solphadene ( and rest..as best I can). The pain has been radiating down my left leg and out my knee. Does alternating heat and cold help in this regard? Also I have a massage gun - is using this on the leg and sciatic muscle areas of any benefit or detriment? Many thanks

    Hello Dr David,
    Thank you for the video.
What helps to improve the reduced AD diameter (compressed duct size due to extruded disc)?
How much time usually it takes?

This is all bs. Ice, more so, Cold Water / Showers have been a key component in my healing process. Not only in herniated discs, but also facet joint issues. Keep doing cold plunges, swimming, ice if you can but cold water will help you heal 🙏🙏🙏God bless!
