I was a young lad in the midlands, i didn't pay it and many more on the estate i lived didn't, i had my day in the court which was a laugh on the day and i remember the bailiffs being chased off the estate when they came to collect the poll tax debt. I don't live there now but i doubt the same solidarity exists these days, the politicians have probably divided the people
Big Costello fan, love the song, but he couldn't be more wrong. If it wasn't for Thatcher, Britain would be in the same situation as the rest of Europe today.
The entirety of our car industry is foreign owned. We have no coal industry , virtually no shipbuilding or steel industry and our railways are a privatised mess with 21 out of 27 train companies foreign owned. How could it get any worse ?
@@lewisner you’re so right, it was middle class snobbery gone mad, trying to raise her class at the expense of the genuine hard core workers of this country
I’m afraid it is you who is so wrong, thatcher destroyed everything that was good about Britain, and only now are we living with the wokeness and entitlement of the children of Thatchers children. You reap what you sow has never been more apt

Supporting them including Saddam Hussein and Pol Pot and protecting them including Jimmy Savile and Cyril Smith.

Get Tramping because the day has arrived
She never hit you guys with the poll tax first, she hit my Scottish race with it first.

Yes, she truly hated humans.

Thatcher loved and supported Augusto Pinochet, a complete monster. Nuff said.
