She's still dead! 🎉🎊
you did it 👍
beautiful art
it doesn't get less moving with years. good on ya, dec
from the US i dedicate this to ever president, and esp recently, killin kissinger. history is a circle.
One of his greatest songs, with all things considered perhaps his greatest, and that's saying something.....This one hit emotively like a freight train.....
When it comes to That Woman, Costello speaks for me as well Rot In Piss
MT drove me to Northern California October 1985. Never looked back. No regrets. Now America has its own monster that wont go away. I hope shes rotting in some nasty place for all of eternity, thank you Elvis, for articulating my anger.
46:56 Crewe Goal
Sadly she succeeded. The 51st State in 2023 is her dream come true. Fuck the Bitch!
It's not so much what he's saying, but, the intense emotion with which he sings it.
I saw this on the night it went out, has stayed with me, I made an assumption Elvis was not a fan of Thatcher.
"Tramp the dirt down" When Elvis sang this song He had Margaret in mind But I'm sending it to Rishi Sunak in Downing Street tonight
Singing it to Rishi Sunak tonight
It's September 2022, the woman this song was based on has been dead for years and yet her ideals are as alive as they ever have been. I hope I live long enough to see them tramped into the dirt, I know I probably never will.
With you Jake
Fucking sick of it.
For all of our exes....you're getting stomped by 13's...
Che bella ballad, like like like 🎶🎶🎶
Attendance for the 1997 Football League Second Division Play-Off Final was 34,149 fans.
Happy Thatcher day! May she burn for eternity!
She was buried at the bottom of a man-made lake. It wasn't planned that way, there were just too many of us queuing to piss on her grave.
Loved the guy. This song especially. 30 years later he accepts an OBE. Phony.
,x
i was so relieved when she was dead
I think of this song every time I hear Schumer's voice. I'm being a good boy so I will outlive him.
Yes Elvis this IS enough to voice your contempt. And for all of our contempt so we never forget. Never forgive.
Volia..
Very good, thank you so much :-)
She's been out of politics and dead a while now and all the hate I felt for her is gone, but I do have a clear memory of cursing the luck of the Irish the day the IRA missed her at Brighton.
Happy April 8, folks.
I dedicate this to the rotten memory of Rush Limbaugh, who blessedly cooled in his linens 2/17/21
It's 45's last night in the White House. I now fully understand, empathize with, and feel Costello's emotions here.
A wonderful and justified light shone on an evil, contemptible witch. She changed mindset of the UK from love thy neighbour to fuck thy neighbour. Her chief goal in life was to increase the gulf between the rich and the poor and, to be fair, she was good at it. She despised the working class and pulled the wool over their eyes by making it a bit easier for them to own a home, providing an illusion of equality. Her legacy lives on though. Somehow the mining communities she ripped the heart from and tore down are voting Tory. That is her legacy. I hate how much I hate her.
This is the real stuff. I've never seen a musician express grief and anger so effectively - he almost spits and vomits fury at the contempt of Margaret for humanity. Brave man, that Elvis.
If you're listening, Elvis, it's way past time that you recorded 'Black Boys On Mopeds'. Time I phoned your agent to request it . . .
I was at his concert at The Royal Albert hall when he played this song for the first time, it got a standing ovation.
This made a huge impression on me in the late 80s after the miners strike and the destruction of Welsh communities. This should be played on the deaths of sunak, Johnson, Braverman, Rhys Mogg et al. Bravo Declan.
I love Angry Elvis.
I wonder if he's writing one for 45?
Elvis did not like the Thatch, when you can hate and vent it in this way, you have to applaud. I'm a secret lemonade drinker...
Has anyone at all suggested an update...Trump the dirt down?
Now more than ever.
1:48 Rob Hawthorne Microphone went off & came on with Alan Brazil
What a beautiful song :) I certainly laughed when they trampled the dirt.....
2019 election has just rapped up & the Tory just won a majority “a big one”so this song is getting played hourly 😓
Still so applicable.
Now.... it's Trump.
That's when they finally put you in the ground I'll stand on your grave and Trump the dirt down
Getting Ding Dong the Witch Is Dead up on the charts was a wasted effort. This should’ve been the one.
Absolutely!
Im normally not a despiser but Margaret envokes in me sentiments that border on hatred. The worst is yet to come comrades.. What to do?
The Death of Roger Ailes brought me back here.....take that for what you will.
she lives on lots of people follow her beliefs of showing many faces and telling you its the right thing to be
so.. he doesn't like thatcher... I'm sure he loves May!
