It’s so significant of how much she is talking to him and how much he is listening, as the show goes on we see that this couples major problem is that they have trouble opening up to one another and for Lindsey to be telling him about her past is a huge step. You can see how intrigued halstead is by the words that she is telling him. The way he looks at her and the way his facial expressions slightly change. This was one of the couples I would’ve loved to see go far and I’m heartbroken to know how short and cut off their relationship ended
@@lottiepopham6255 I really would have like for Erin and Jay's story to have grown but I don't blame Sophia for leaving. And as for the Hailey part, I'm glad that Jay has finally healed and found someone, but I'm too invested in "Linstead" so I can't ship him with Upton.
Erin and Jay have hard times, but they were always there for each other and as much as it is a show, we know that they were endgame if Sophia had not been abused. If they had been respected in the workplace and respect won instead of machismo, they would probably both still be in the show, together, maybe married, maybe with children. It will always be the right couple.
