For me, its hands down the 2 Elizabeth movies. Elizabeth and Elizabeth, The Golden Age. I love period pieces. They must be experienced on the big screen. What we have with Cate is the Queen of drama, the Queen of dialects and accents. But more importantly Cate is the Queen of acting because every character pulls you in and never lets go!
Elizabeth was the first Movie I ever saw her in. Right around the time it was released in N. America. I instantly fell in love with her acting. When I heard she was going to play Lady Galadriel in Lord of the Rings I about flipped. Having read the Books plenty of times I knew she was the right choice for the role.
she is mesmerizing, impossible to take your eyes off her, it must be hard to work with someone when you know all eyes will always be on her, she has that star quality only very few actors have had through history of cinema.
